Day 17 and she is growing nicely, but hope the side branching will pick up a bit for training. Keep freaking out thinking I have mites again but I don’t see them on my leaves. Plus I think I have grasshoppers nibbling on all my gals leaves. As of Saturday Fozzy Bear (we wanted it Fozzie but official paper work says otherwise) joined the family and his new big brother Buddy. He has already grown a few inches since we got him but god is he ever cute, and god bless Buddy for taking his playful shit since

24.10 Aaand here we are in new flower week, plants look good, stucking up buds, middle one realy nice, other two need some time more, but today they are not thursty, no watering, wish them best 🙏🏻🤞🏻 In few days coming 1 more fan and dehumidyfier for tent and room becuse i got lot of trouble with that, hope it will come soon so i dont have problems in this stage when they flower, temperature is good always between 22-27 (night-day) Thats all from me for today 25.10 They are still not dry, does someone had same Situation in some part of flowering? Hello all and welcome to the much anticipated beginning of vegetation for these five Epsilon F1 Autos from Royal Queen Seeds. Allow me to introduce Ally, Normani, Lauren, Dinah, and Camila. All five girls have pushed put their 2nd node (3 fingers) and node 3 is on the way out. I expect all five girls to take off from here, and so the next seven days are going to be big. I will start fertigation today. For comparison purposes the Day 1 here means Day 1 of veg. For Ally, Normani, and Lauren this is day 11 since breaking ground, for Dinah day 10, and for Camila it is day 9. For the rest of this grow I will increment days from here but it's really easy to work out days since breaking ground as it is a simple matter of day + 10, 9, or 8 respectively. Day 1: Fertigated 2l. Day 2: Right ok. Can you actually believe this response in 24h? The poor girls were STARVING. Wow look at the change in color! Wow look at the growth!! Ally is most advanced, Camila least. It is fascinating so see them develop! They are growing faster and faster now. So let us talk about the elephant in the room a little bit. Phenotypes. At the moment there is absolutely no evidence to suggest that this crop will be anything other than uniform. Nevertheless there are some clear differences in some of the girls. So let's have a look shall we: Ally (center), Normani (closest to the middle purple basil), and Lauren (opposite side to Normani): These three girls are not quite identical, but it is a pretty challenging game of spot the difference. Dinah: Okay so Dinah is coming in noticeably darker than her sisters, with a little more tendency to claw, and with quite a bit larger and more angular serrations. Her first leaves are also a different shape. Camila: Little Camila had a twin, but I killed her with some overzealous tweezing before I realised what I had. She came in with only one cotyledon, and she came in last. Her first leaves are quite different to the rest of Fifth Harmony. She is also showing slighty more narrow leaves. She is lastly also very slightly more pale than her sisters. Are these phenotype differences? I mean in terms of the environment, feeding, watering, substrate, temperature, light, airflow... well these girls are all in the same pot, so unless I am particularly haphazard in my mixing and fertigation (which I can assure you I am not) I do not think it likely that these ladies have significant enough environmental difference to account for these quite clear visual differences. I am absolutely fascinated to continue to witness this, and it has only now occurred to me what a great privilege it is to be able to grow the world first F1 cannabis hybrids, and what an astounding honor to be one of the very first hobby growers to do so! The fact that RQS made this happen by not only supplying the seeds and other merch and goodies, but also sending expedited international shipping so as to fit within my arbitrary timescales is almost unbelievable. When these guys (on their website) say that it is their belief and mission to forge the path to worldwide legalisation, they are not hollow corporate whispers, it is their core of being. Cannabis everywhere is truly blessed to have such a worthy and proactive ambassador. Bravo RQS! I have adjusted the timer such that the main tent is now getting 20/4 upped from 18/6. After monitoring DLI at 18/6 for a week I am unhappy with the overall level but because of the varying heights of the plants I am limited in what I can do in adjusting the light height. Some areas were only getting 20 DLI. So I have rearranged to have the taller plants on the edges and the lowest in the middle and doing it this way all plants are getting between 35 and 50 DLI at 20/4 - although one or two cola tips here and there are getting 55. Will monitor for a week. Day 3: Well look at this growth again!! These ladies have responded to feeding really well. Fertigated 3l. Day 4: Growth is accelerating fast, these ladies will be ready for their first training soon. I am starting to formulate an idea what to do. I am thinking of topping Ally and LST on the rest. Day 6: Fertigated 3l. Ladies growing fast now. Will soon be time to start training. However! The secondary nodes are developing strongly. Hmmm Day 7: Fertigated 3l. Defoliated the three fingered leaves from Ally and tucked the five fingered under other plants. End if week summary: Well when they said "hybrid vigour" they were not joking. Look at day 1 and day 7 side by side after approx 6 days into veg growth. Wow.

SO UPDATE GANG!!!! Everything is going well so far, i stocked up on water for the girls nutrients are doing well but im going to upgrade them to the FOOP line of OMRI nutes other then that will keep everyone updated so far thanks!

Plants with more direct UV showed much more purple across all 3 plants. The data shows that the number of terpenes in dried Cannabis flowers increases with a “No Red” light treatment for the final three days of production. Based upon these findings, we feel confident in recommending a spectrum control program that eliminates red light output from fixtures for the final 72 hours of the Cannabis flowering cycle. Terpenes are aromatic compounds that give cannabis some of its most distinct aromas from citrus and berry, to more earthy tones. Many species of plants produce and emit terpenes in a diurnal, or daily cycle that is regulated by a complex web of signaling. There are also many plants that emit terpenes at night to attract nocturnal pollinators (Marinho et al., 2014346). Regardless of when the terpenes are produced or emitted, these processes are often dependent upon cues derived from natural light/dark cycles via a native circadian clock (Dudareva et al., 2004). Several light-sensitive pigments are involved in these processes of production and emission, and the different photoreceptors are dependent upon different wavelengths of light to be activated or deactivated. Emission of terpenes is a process that is entirely dependent upon phytochromes and red/far-red light cues in most plant species (Flores and Doskey, 2015). For example, repeated light/dark phytochrome signaling is necessary for the emission of terpenes in tobacco plants (Roeder et al., 2007). Based on previous findings, we hypothesized that a lack of red light and phytochrome-mediated light/dark signaling on the part of the plant is responsible for an increase in terpene content in cannabis. The plant continues to synthesize terpenes, but a lack of red light to trigger the Pr-Pfr shift results in a lack of terpene emission by the plant, thus causing the terpenes to accumulate in the maturing flowers. It has been found that sound waves were at different frequencies, sound pressure levels (SPLs), exposure periods, and distances from the source of sound influence plant growth. Experiments have been conducted in the open field and under greenhouse growing conditions with different levels of audible sound frequencies and sound pressure levels. Sound waves at 1 kHz and 100 dB for 1 h within a distance of 0.20 m could significantly promote the division and cell wall fluidity of callus cells and also significantly enhance the activity of protective enzymes and endogenous hormones. Sound waves stimulation could increase the plant plasma-membrane H+-ATPase activity, the contents of soluble sugar, soluble protein, and amylase activity of callus. Moreover, sound waves could increase the content of RNA and the level of transcription. Stress-induced genes could switch on under sound stimulation. Sound waves at 0.1–1 kHz and SPL of (70±5) dB for 3 h from plant acoustic frequency technology (PAFT) generator within a distance ranged from 30 to 60 m every other day significantly increased the yield of sweet pepper, cucumber and tomato by 30.05, 37.1 and 13.2%, respectively. Furthermore, the yield of lettuce, spinach, cotton, rice, and wheat were increased by 19.6, 22.7, 11.4, 5.7, and 17.0%, respectively. Sound waves may also strengthen plant immune systems. It has been proved that spider mite, aphids, gray mold, late blight and virus disease of tomatoes in the greenhouses decreased by 6.0, 8.0, 9.0, 11.0, and 8.0%, respectively, and the sheath blight of rice was reduced by 50%. 2/26 Week 9 /3 flower Update: After a meeting of the minds we have decided to give Chiana her own feed schedule as the FF7 just need other than the FF5. Dropping PK temporarily to 1ml/gal due to slightly too dark green leaves but upping CocoTek to 7 ml give her plenty of good stuff to work on. 2/28 HPS back online Height set slightly on the high side for both lights to better disperse the light pattern. Nuets continue to be the focus looking for her sweet spot. Leaves on this strain run dark green anyway so putting PK up slightly and monitoring. IN PPM 800 OUT PPM 900 Seems all is well Buds n' smells Buds are going to be very white with a majority fuel/chem smell- kind of like some Skunk1 strains just a wild guess 2/29 Pics Buds beginning to cone building nicely Increasing PK slightly for 800ppm runoff at 25% for one time mini-flush

This week I did what I suspect will be the final full change of the reservoir. Buds are looking fat and dense. Perfect. I got a new microscope to try and get an idea of the trichome development. They're actually a lot less developed than I expected - with most trichomes still clear. Only a few cloudy and maybe 1 or 2 yellow scattered throughout. Couple more weeks and they should be good.

Octava semana de los esquejes. Va todo muy bien, han crecido bastante y los dos se ven en buena forma. Les aplique una segunda defoliación para darle a más espacio a los brotes que pretendo conservar. A uno le doble en su totalidad una de sus ramas y respondió de buena manera, con esto puede verse más frondoso. Decidí sacar la malla para SCROG porque las 3 plantas que ocupan la carpa no están de manera homogénea. También así les podré dar forma con mayor libertad. Va quedando menos para comenzar la hermosa floración, solo estoy esperando que la planta mas pequeña crezca un poco más. Cualquier recomendación sera bien recibida!!

Frosty Frostbanger isn't growing any taller. I started measuring the cola today for height and width. It is 10 inches tall and I am not really sure how one determines its width. I took a picture and will ask a question to someone who is more experienced than me. I plan on entering this cola in a contest, however, I don't really know what I am going up against. :)😬 I have continued to feed my plant on a regular basis. It has been hot enough here in this area that I water/feed on a daily basis. We have a few more weeks to go until its harvest time. I am curious to see how big the buds are going to get. I can definitely see the dense, tight, resin-soaked buds that glitter like fresh snow in a sparkling winter wonderland as per its description of Fast Buds. . Buds also appear to be very compact. Hello everyone, brothers and sisters. CMOG: 75 Days. W / C / C: 40/17/18. Nutrition 2.5 ml / l Canna Coco a / b. Ph = 5.8 / 6.3; ppm = 900/1050. The conditions are stable, good. A week passed, I didn’t do anything special, just a cliff of leaves, a disturbing bump. Smog is beautiful, she is one of those who owe nothing to anyone, neither by weight, nor by anything; she is exceptionally gorgeous, graceful and fragrant.

I think Zkittlez Auto has two weeks left, including this one. She definitely looks like the ten week pheno and I think she’ll bulk nicely in these last weeks. I loved growing this auto and am so impressed I was able to get these results considering I’m not an auto grower. I’ve already begun flushing and I think she’ll be a nice smooth smoke when she’s done. I’m amazed at how resinous she is. Looking forward to harvesting and then exploring more auto strains.

WW#1: Opening the jar stinks up the whole house...kinda like if you had a basket full of lemons, limes, and oranges...and left them in the trunk of your car for a week of 100 degree weather...very sour/funky. Only one week of cure so far, so can't give a full review on taste, but it's pungent and kinda tastes like it smells...sour and funky with a hint of fresh cut oak (or is it mahogany??) I've gotten a little bit noseblind to the pungency, and now I'm saying that an upclose sniff of a bud smells kinda like a mix of the funky rotten citrus fruit I mentioned before, but doused with a little turpentine. Short/stocky, good branching able to support it's own bigass buds. The main cola was 100g, wet, and just under a foot long. Total dry weight was 85g. WW#2: Murdered on 8/26! Main cola was almost 15 inches and weighed 120g, wet. She's bigger and badder...can't wait to taste her...😍 Total dry weight was 90g. I updated my lighting to reflect actual draw wattage and my grow room space to 4 square feet because that's all that these two plants required. I think the numbers are a more accurate representation of the truth about my yield for the two White Widows in this grow. Can't wait to smoke her!
