The guys and gals over at the fastbuds team have created some great strains. This plant was super Hardy and took a beating with the weather that we have been having outdoors this year .She was Hardy against most things except the cold that just stopped her growth in its tracks and made the tricohmes frost up pretty fast . I love the colour in the plant and would like to try this again outdoors in cold and summer . I would highly recommend fastbuds to anyone great company and customer service ...cheers canna family and follow along for my next grows also hit my IG account @cannibal19888

Day 50 - Starting week 8 and she’s as good as she can be right now. After reading some advice I may be giving her too much water so gonna slow down how much I give her from here on out. Even though this girl won’t produce as much as I’d like, I’ll still get something and will be growing another one soon. Day 52 - She still seems to be doing ok right now and the leaves are starting to fade a bit so will probably give her another round of nutes in the next couple of days but it might be too little to late for this girl. Day 53 - She’s starting to put on a bit of weight now. All her bud sites are all starting to lean over so might have to start using the yo-yo’s to keep her propped up. She’s just about dry so she’ll get some water tomorrow. Day 54 - She’s still doing good right now and gave her about half a gallon of water and nutes today. She still seems to be fattening up on a few of the buds but some are still pretty fluffy. She’s still pretty young right now so holding out hope that she’ll beef up, though I’m not seeing much more pistil development but all her trichs are still clear with a couple cloudy mixed in there. Day 55 - All still going well but nothing much to speak of right now. She took well to the watering yesterday and just took her out for some updated pictures and such.

Aug 9: Mimosa Shot is doing fine. She was slower starting than her wagon partner Sunday Punch EV, but she is liking the warmer weather. Got UV led lights from AC Infinity going today. These are designed for indoor so I can only put them out on nice weather days. Did this last year and seems to work. The UV lights make Edmonton in the fall feel more like California in the summer, or at least that’s the idea. UV is critical for trichome production so it’s a good way to boost THC percentage. Aug 14: rainy the last few days. Mimosa Shot likes to be a bit warmer. It was slower getting going in the spring, and now it seems to be suffering from a P deficiency. Reddish petioles, and a blueish tint to the leaves. She has received Power Bloom and barley just like the other plants, but still seemed to be lacking something. Ed Rosenthal’s Grower’s Handbook says P deficiency can be due to cold weather. Decided to try and dissolve 0.5 tsp of Power Bloom in 1 L of warm water to use as a high P foliar spray. As always, used a bit of Dr. Bronner’s Peppermint Soap as a surfactant, and apple cider vinegar to adjust pH. Power Bloom mostly dissolved but with some undissolved. Unfortunately I don’t have a working TDS or EC meter. Not sure how strong it was so just sprayed a bit on the fan leaves.

Wish I could have vegged the clones another couple of weeks but the Zkitzo was just growing to fast. In hindsight shouldn’t have put a plant from seed in with the clones. Seeds always grow like mad in NFT and clones are more manageable as they don’t have a tap root. Still got some absolutely beautiful looking and smelling bud from the Zkitzo so can’t really regret it. The Gelatos are rock solid right through and look absolutely beautiful. Used rainwater right the way through on this so should smoke nice to. Better pictures as it dries.

Day 35 Today the plant shows healthy, vigorous vegetative growth. The canopy has filled out noticeably, with several new shoots emerging from the top and sides. The leaves appear a rich green, and the serrated edges are well-defined. The plant is developing tighter node spacing compared to earlier growth stages, giving it a fuller, bushier appearance. The top growth (“new growth tips”) is a lighter green, which is typical for fresh developing foliage. Multiple tops are pushing upward, suggesting the plant has responded to previous growth changes—possibly training or natural branching. The lower leaves appear slightly more mature and darker, while the new growth is soft and fresh. Compared to an earlier stage, the plant clearly looks more structured and defined, with emerging symmetry in its branching. It seems to be entering a phase where vertical and lateral shoots are increasing in number, giving it a more complex canopy.

⭐ GMO Cookies: A Tale From the 12/12 Frontier Welcome to the beginning of our GMO Cookies journey — a Zamnesia creation stepping into the 12/12 seed run with mystery, character, and creativity. ⸻ 🌼 Germination Summary Seed Source — Zamnesia Seeds Seed Count for This Report 3 seedlings selected for documentation (More were germinated; only the standout ones were chosen for this diary.) ⸻ Starting Method (Observational Log) All seeds began in the CannaKan germination system for visual monitoring. Around the 36-hour mark, early root activity became visible — matching the general timing of the other autos in this project. Seedlings were then placed into: • PRO-MIX soil • Some beneath small humidity domes • All inside the shared environmental conditions of the main 8×8 tent ⸻ Emergence Within 2–3 days, the GMO Cookies seedlings surfaced with steady, healthy vigor. Their emergence synced smoothly with the rest of the autoflower lineup, joining the unified starting rhythm of the 12/12 Frontier experiment. ⸻ 🌡️ Environmental Context (Shared Tent Conditions) These are observational notes consistent across all genetics in the run: • Relative Humidity: approx. 60–65% • Day Temperature: ~26–28°C • Night Temperature: ~20–21°C • Humidifier: active continuously • Light misting: to support ambient moisture • Heater: helping stabilize nighttime warmth • Lighting: • Future of Grow — Air Grow Pro III HyperRED • Lumiflora UE150 under-canopy LEDs (to be introduced later) • Controllers: TrollMaster (previous collaboration) • Medium: PRO-MIX soil for GMO Cookies • Tent Prep: completely sanitized before the project began All GMO Cookies seedlings share the same controlled conditions as part of this documented observational experiment. ⸻ 🌈 Educational Notes for This Genetic GMO Cookies is a fan-favorite genetic known for bold character and expressive traits. In this diary, we’ll observe: • Subtle differences between the three selected seedlings • How this genetic expresses itself under a unified 12/12-from-seed experiment • Any notable visual cues, posture, color, or early personality No predictions — just curiosity, exploration, and honest documentation. ⸻ 🙏 Acknowledgments A warm thank-you to: • Future of Grow — providing the lighting technology for this project • Plagron — supporting substrates and soil mixes • Zamnesia Seeds — genetics powering this series • Lumiflora — under-canopy LED innovation • TrollMaster — environmental controllers from past collaborations • GrowDiaries — the platform hosting the full journal And, as always: • OG supporters • New followers • Silent watchers • Curious explorers • The kind, the critical, and everyone in between This community is what keeps this project alive. ⸻ 🧡 Closing Note for the Report This marks the first chapter of GMO Cookies: A Tale From the 12/12 Frontier. Three seedlings now step into this experimental space — ready to show their individuality as the project unfolds. More photos, observations, and educational notes coming soon. Trust me, you won’t want to miss the next steps, let’s push the boundaries of indoor horticulture together! As always, this is shared for educational purposes, aiming to spread understanding and appreciation for this plant. Let’s celebrate it responsibly and continue to learn and grow together. With true love comes happiness. Always believe in yourself, and always do things expecting nothing and with an open heart. Be a giver, and the universe will give back in ways you could never imagine. 💚 Growers love to all 💚 📸 P.S. – The Eye Behind the Lens All photos in this diary (for now — except for the ones showing the camera, which I took with an iPhone) are taken with a Sony A6000 (for now A6700 will be doing all future updates) paired with a Sony full-frame macro lens and a few more. Photography is part of the story — it’s how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words can’t always capture. I’ve also started experimenting with photo stacking — a technique where multiple images, each taken at a slightly different focus point, are layered together to create one perfectly sharp image from front to back. It’s not digital enhancement or AI; it’s pure photography — a way to reveal the plant’s beauty in microscopic depth, from trichome to petal. You’ll even see a few shots of "ghost me" capturing the shots — camera, lens, setup — because every grow deserves not just to be cultivated, but documented like art. I've defoliated a little as I go. One of the watermelon candy has a flat stem (Fasciation) I've been trimming the leaves as they are growing in abundance on the affected branches. The black orchid smells so good it's very pungent and captivating, I'm really looking forward to trying it now.

Feels like it snowed on it over the last week, full of cristals. I think it needs about one more week and then it's ready for harvest.

D-70 : Chaco Haze. They just look amazing, even 1/4 is very small (about 40cm). At this stage she should be 60 or 70 cm high... Anyway, the flowers are doing great. I really hope the will continue to grow. I dream of a grow room full of flowers between 1 and 1.4 m high ! Still 8-9 weeks to go, so they have time :)

107 days!! Here is another great experience :) The girl has matured, 330 grams of wet, full of sticky, resinous shiny, pleasantly smelling flowers :) I think it will be about 90 dry :) although the girl is definitely not the biggest, but she looks great, the smell is also amazing :) I also got some sugar leaves from which I will make bubble hash, For me personally it is really beautiful and good growth, which I think will definitely be confirmed by the dried and cured flowers :) there will be a smoke review, as well as the total dry weight. good luck to everyone :).
