Week 8, Day 50 - FLOWER: 06/13/2021
After inspecting the trichome development for the last 7-10 days or so, I’ve decided that today would be the ideal time to begin flushing. The American Pie #1 does not look like it’s ready to begin flushing quite yet, as she appears to be about a week behind in maturity. Despite that, I’ll still begin flushing her today too.
Recycled water: 70ppm, 69℉
+ pH Up: 7ml
Mixture: 95ppm, 6.4 pH, 69℉
ppm/ppm = runoff/soil

Week 8, Day 51 - FLOWER: 06/14/2021
Did a trichome check on the plants today. Spent more time with the Jelly Banana to better determine her maturity level. She actually looks like she is ready to harvest today. I’d say trichomes are 75-80% milky, with an amber trichome here and there.
I’m going to try and push her through at least one more low-ppm watering and test the runoff. If I start seeing more amber trichome development, I will cut her down.

[SUMMARY]
I expect this to be my last full week of flower. All the girls are looking ripe for the chopping.
The aroma that bursts out of the tent when I unzip it every time is heavenly. American Pie #1
is still about a week behind in maturity, but she will get cut down with the other plants
regardless. Jelly Bananen started to turn a lime green color so she'll probably get chopped
and hung up in the next few days when my second tent arrives (4x2 AC Infinity).

Day 43 - Starting week 7 today and this will be the first full week of flower. I gave her the first dose of flower nutes yesterday and all seems well. She’s been stretching over and inch every day the past couple days so looking forward to her stretching to stop and her starting to pack on the flowers.
Day 44 - Nothing to really speak of today, she’s still doing her stretch. Just really took her out for some updated pictures and to give her a once over/tuck some leaves.
Day 47 - All is going well and she’s still doing a bit of stretching but all the bud sites are starting to fill in a bit now. The soil was starting to get dry so she got 2 full gallons of plain water today. She doesn’t look like she’ll need much defoliating, she’s not a very leafy girl so most likely I’ll just let her go.
Day 48 - All is going well and she’s starting to get a bit of frost going now so looking forward to seeing what kind of smell she’ll put out. I did remove a couple bigger fan leaves from the top today but just tucked everything else.
Day 49 - The end of week 7 for this girl and looking like her stretching is slowing down a bit, only a little over a half an inch the last 24 hours. On the other hand the frost is really starting to come out on her and looking forward to seeing everything fill in.

Topped again today. This plant may grow more wiry than the others by the look of it so will probably need more training than the others. We will see.
Saturated the tent this week as I was out of town which is the reason you can see a little overflow in thetimelapse. This plant is now the one at the back in the video.

Probably gonna harvest Friday or next Wednesday! I’m happy with the test buds I’ve tried. They have very good flavor, smell and the high is very happy and easy going for the devil cream the cream mandarine I have not tried yet and they probably have another week or two.

This week she has grown quite well. Not as tall as the gorilla glue but she has great form and lots of new growth tips.
Also regretting not scrog’in her too, but it is what it is now so I’m kinda happy with it.
My tent is a nice size so not a problem, I have the light on adjustable rope so I’m not gonna worry about it.
I’ll do some de-foliation on her and take about 50% off from the bottom.
No point keeping them as they don’t get as much light anyhow and besides to many branches will affect my top growth.
I’ll switch her to 12/12 this week as I’m happy with her size now. Hopeful to get a massive condense bud on the top.
A big fatty will be awesome.
She’s been enjoying the nutrient schedule so far and I’m happy with this.
I don’t normally veg out a plant this long but ah well it is what it is eh.
She has a potent smell amd she ain’t even in flower so hopefully this is a good sign.

Each plant has been watered/fed, with a glug or two, from a 1 gallon mixture of 1tsp/gal floranova-grow (ph7).
Mother plants are definitely ready for a pruning/cloning!

she's been filling out nicely over week 7 of flower. Shes put on a lot of weight, requiring me to tie up a few of her branches to support them. still giving her half strength feed and she seems to be more than happy with that, will keep to the same schedule for week 8 which will be the last week before flushing.
Unfortunately there are a lot of spaces in between the nodes on the top colas which was due to an excessive defoliation during flower, however it has allowed for more of the lower bud sites and lower branches to receive more light and in turn fill out more than the would have if the top colas were taking all of the light. I will see how detrimental this will be with final harvest weight.

Week 7: Preparing for Flowering
At the beginning of the week, we installed the net, marking the final stretch before flipping to flower. The plant is growing beautifully, and I’m genuinely impressed by its vitality. All the training seems to have had no negative impact—she’s handling everything like a champ! 💪🌿
By the end of the week, it’s finally time to switch to flower—wish me luck! 🍀
Challenges this week:
Temperature: ~26°C
Humidity: ~35%
VPD: A whopping 2.4!
Not exactly ideal, but thanks to the large fabric pot, she had enough water to keep going strong while I was on vacation. 🌱💦
We’re still seeing light-colored tips, and she’s putting on a final growth spurt before I flip the switch! 🌸🚀

Hello. This is the end of week 8 and the beginning of week 9 of veg.
The plant is doing great. I did some repotting last week and got them into bigger pots.
Put in the tomato cage and pulled all the branches under the rung to spread it out.
When I repotted I sunk the root ball as low as I could to get the bottom branches to the top of the soil.
We are getting about 16.7 hours light, on the 48th latitude N, now, with it going to almost 18 hours, by Equinox, about June 21.
OK. Keep Growing Straight.
