Parameters for heating/cooling system: 23.5°C as reference temperature, -3°C for heating, +1.5°C for cooling. 30/01D8: - 31/01D9: watering day. Added 2ml of Bio-grow to 1.2l of tap water (approximately 40cl of water each plant) 01/02 D10: - 02/02 D11: watering day. Tap water only (50cl of water each plant) 03/02 D12: - 04/02 D13: - 05/02 D14: watering day. Added 2ml of Bio-grow to 1.5l of tap water (approximately 50cl of water each plant)

Thickening up nicely! Got some nutrient issues on the LSD, but not nearly as bad a previous grows.

8/23 I WATERED THE NATURAL MK ULTRA AND THE 10TH PLANET IN THE BACK WITH A GALLON AND THE TWO TENS SPLIT A GALLON. It's hotter today and the wind is picking up. I wish I had gotten rid of that plant when I thought to. Oh well. I'm going to have to bite the bullet and treat things. Smell is increases as well as flower size. However I'm noticing more leaves that are yellowing and falling off. Smell has intensified. The special kush in late flower doesn't seem to be producing trichomes like it should. Or maybe it's still early. I see some but by this time I would think it would be frosty as hell! It's rained like once this summer. I've put tons of work into defoliating. I'm not sure if I'll try a controlled spray trying to avoid buds or if I should use a sponge and just hit every leaf. At least I'm seeing that the buds are still expanding and smelling despite these invisible Bastards. It's not like I see them. Even my traps only caught like one. I'll update as I go. EDIT: WATERED THE TENTH PLANET AND THE LATE SOECIAL KUSH 1 GAL. PLAN ON FEEDING TOMORROW. I DID A SHIT TON OF DEFOLIATION. I DONT SEE ADULT THRIPS BUT I SEE THE EGGS AND SHIT IN THE CREVICE AND SOMETHING IS COMING AND EARING SMALL LOWER FOLIAGE. I DEFOLIATED MORE AND THEN "SPOT TREATED" A FEW LEAVES ON A BOTTOM BRANCH OF THE 10TH PLANET WITH MITE X. I'M WAITING UNTIL THE MORNING TO SEE THE RESULTS AND BEFORE I MOVE FORWARD. I HAVE ORGANOCIDE BEE SAFE AND I KNOW IT WORKS GOOD BUT IT SMELLS LIKE SHIT. IM HOPING ILL FIGURE THIS OUT. 8/24 Didn't have time to do a video or take any pictures. I pit a lot of work in the garden yesterday. I removed a couple small branches that had mold on the stem. If I had listened to my intuition and moved that plant (instead of listening to my dad) I probably could've negated this mess. Windy as hell yesterday. Maybe that's why I don't see mich damage from the thrips. The runt in the 50 has some silver ingredients on it. I'm considering using spinosad. Those are way earlier in flower and that shit WORKS. The plants that I treated with citric acid looked no worse for the wear and actually BETTER than they hadcthe day before. The other 10th planet and the Pink kusg in the ten are the worst. If I can't beat it I may junk them. I'm planning on treatingvtge plants I didn't yesterday tonight. I may use a different treatment I'm not sure. EDIT: Went back over and took a few pics and a video. I defoliated a SHIT TON of leaves. I can just tell the ones that the thrips have been sucking and laying eggs. It's windy as hell. Plants are going crazy. I'm wondering if the wind will hurt the thrips. Maybe I should've just stood with the wind at my back and throw a buNch of D.E. in the air and have it coat the plants. I'm scared of using d.e. because it absorbs so much water. It's like 80%! The year I had fusarium I put a bunch of d.e. on the soil and it retained water like a mofo. The plants I treated showed no I'll effects. I'm th8nkobg I'm going to remove patient zero and isolate it. And I'm considering using spinosad on the pink kush. What would you do? If you had to use something in the middle of flower or loss your crop which would you choose? I'll probably just use citric acid or the rubbing alcohol. I don't know. I'll keep it updated. ON PLANTS WITH SMALLER FLOWERS I WAS ABLE TO JUST FOLD THE LEAVES UPWARD AND GET THE BOTTOMS. ILL CHECK AND SEE HOW IT WORKED IN THE MORNING AND GO FROM THERE. WE GOT SOME GOOD RAIN TODAY. The storm had passed and it was like a 14% chance of rain at night. Oh well. The girls seemed to have loved it! The looked great this morning. I shook everything off and got soaked in the process. Inspected for damage and luckily didn't find any. I'm feeling optimistic about my diy green cleaner lcpt. I'm seriously considering spunosad on the pink kush as it's earlier in flower and I think it could handle it. I might just use this spray first and see how it goes. Buds are swelling and seem bigger everyday. I looked at some old diaries and I can see ive had thrips before. I also have some insect (ear wigs or pillars) that target lower branches and kinda lollipop them. I hope it's not earwigs because I've had bas luck dealing with them. I'll have to check at night. I had to shake everything off this morning. Looking back through previous diaries I've HAD thrips before and couldn't identify it and made it to harvest so I think I'll be OK. BUDS arecrcploding in growth and the smell is turning into tjat pungent aroma we all love. The early special kush smells amazing. I think the rain and wind helped with the thrips. I'll do another application and get the plants I missed. That pink kush in the ten looks pretty rough. I probably would've been better off to ditch it earlier it's been treated now so I'll keep an eye on it amd I may just cut it. If I put in the work they would be fine. At least I hope so. We'll see. I'll update as I go. 8/28 Had to shake the plants off this morning. Must've rained last night. I'm not used to that since we've been in such a drought. I'll check later but I'll probably hold off as most are still heavy. I probably should selectively water the thirsty ones but I think tjey can make it. The rain (or the treatment) has greatly helped cut down on thrip population. Nights are in the 40's so it's not the most hospitable environment for them. I'm still keeping an eye out and will be applying another treatment at some point. I didn't do a video this morning as it was kinda dark. I'll check them again when I get back. It's supposed to rain tomorrow all day. I think I might bring the furthest special kush in the barn under lights for the day. That way those huge buds don't get soaked. I'll play it by ear. 8/29 Everything was dry this morning. I could see the soil pulling together away from the bags. My late flowering special kush was good though. It was good to let things dry out from all that rain. We are supposed to get an inch of rain with rain tonight. I didn't want to leave the girls high and dry so I WATERED THE GARDEN STRATEGICALLY WITH 5.5 GALS. USING IT WHERE IT WAS NEEDED MOST. That way if we don't get as much rain as we are supposed to the girls will still be OK. Didn't do a video today. I decided to leave everything out and let it get the natural rain. I'm sure it will be fine. I'm going to need to stake those buds as they swell. They are getting pretty big. EVERYTHING is getting substantially bigger.

Hello everybody!🙏🏿🌸 the girls recovered well after the topping , with no grow stops and feeling pretty good! ( 2 of them even got 4 new main stems ) Looking forward for the first trimming and flower phase. Moisture is pretty high, I noticed water forming under some pressed leaves. -They getting 1,25,l 2x per week - The roots start to grow out at the bottom of the pot Fan running on full power and they hearing classic music most of the time Day 20 -each Lady got 1,25l - pulled the baby leaves at the bottom -replaced them in the tent - placed van on a higher point " Cant wait for start of next week and flower phase🌸🙏🏿" Day 21 - noticed water on the side of the tent - leaves got greener after watering - some leaves got little burns on the edges so i adjusted the light

Everything is coming along nicely. I had some major hiccups in early flower that will probably be detrimental to my yield but at least now I know better. The two blackberry breath plants are by far the best plants in the tent. The garlics aren’t filling out like I was hoping they would and the I don’t think the cheese is going to fill out either. Getting some good terps but it’s just so airy. The slurricane looks ridiculously frosty and has some beautiful gas terps but she’s a runt, isn’t going to yield much and the powdery mildew is getting worse. I’m going to rearrange the plants in the tent to see if the pm is being caused by cold night temps or genetics. I gave one last synthetic feed to everything. I might give one more half strength depending on how done they look around day 48. I see some nice purpling and fading start. I started a new round of seeds for my next run. I’m popping the rest of the blackberry breath’s and some other random beans I had lying around. Check out my other diary if your curious. Northern Lights #10 is a total beast! It's easily one of my biggest plants, and those leaves are super dense. I can already tell it's going to be one of those squat, bushy plants. I'm really curious to see how much fruit it'll produce. Last week was awesome! I finally got around to giving all my plants a little upgrade – I repotted them into some bigger homes. They're all looking so happy and healthy now, it's crazy. I can't wait to see how much they grow this year!

Thought my growth was stunted but I came back from a 5 day vacation to some pretty consistent growth. Also the one from last week with the weird growth came out looking normal after the first couple leaves.

It doesn't look very nice, but the fewer leaves you cut, the faster the plant grows....Yes, I know it itches in your fingers to cut every day, but just give your plants a rest. 🔸 Runtz 1 and 2 are doing really well and look just as I imagined. Hello This is the end of week 10 and the beginning of week 11 of veg. The plant is doing good. It's got a couple of bottom fanleaves going yellow. Going to have to take clones of this one before it flowers. It's quite sticky with the rub test. I let the paper Wasps live in a smaller greenhouse that have my cactus in it. They are very good for the garden bringing back lots of pests to the nest to feed their young. They are not very aggressive and mainly just stick to themselves. I can go in and out of that greenhouse and not get stung. They just fly around me. Fun to watch. OK. Be Great. Chuck.

2 Girls 1 Cup week 7 is it? How time is flying by. Day 42- still eating like pigs, so I'm bumping up the formula and doing 50/50 tap/RO for now on. Bubbled of course. Spots of calcium deficiency on GC here and there for the last week and I have seen a few spots on WG also. Still used 5mL calmag per gal as max dose to hopefully keep spotting from spreading. Raised my bucket to 374ppm prior to nutes. Decent defol tonight and I got a net back out to hold these down and spread em out as much as possible. One branch on WG has taken over as the main I guess and it's hard as f. Only place it's going is up lol.. 22in from the light as of RN, getting 37.2 DLI. Going to work up to 40 this week and see how they like it. GC really needs to hurry up. Can't let WG get too amber and can't leave dead rotting roots in the system right? Crossing my fingers GC hurries TF up in the end, or it may get cut early. RES change around 6pm tonight, modified week 2 bloom GHE medium. Breakdown as follows: 2gal water/calmag - 374ppm Hydroguard - 5mL Micro - 12.6mL Grow - 12mL Bloom - 15mL RES totals after PH corrections - 1453 @ 5.71. Plants 14in ^ Lights 22in ^ DLI 37.2 =========================================================================================== Day 43- McGuiver'd some external RES together tonight. Waterfarm site tube is now extended into a return line to the external RES. Small cat drinking fountain pump in the base of the external with a 1/4in fitting plastic welded on the 3/8 outlet of it. This thing trickles, just like I wanted. 1/4in line runs to my old fill port on the front of the waterfarm. Constant circulation from one res to the other. Waterfarm started life as a 2gal RES system. Roots fill it up and take up precious space. Roots were even coming out of the site tube lol. When I pump it out for a change lately, Im barely getting a gallon... side res and waterfarm combined now hold a little over 4gal now with the root mass filling a large portion of the farm. Ill actually measure one of these times. If I raise the farm up more, I can hold more in the side RES. 4 or so should cut it, they don't have much longer right? Filled with same formulation as last fill, just 4 or so gal instead of 2. Mixed 5, left with 1? in the bucket when I hit fill line. This may help conserve some water once I finally get their EC dialed in. Not only do I play my plants music throughout their day, I even sing to them from time to time.. Hopefully I don't lose any watchers with my horrible singing in the vid tonight 🤣🤣 =========================================================================================== Day 44- Why didn't I start this experiment off with an external RES? Damn the stability of more volume is a definite PLUS! Haven't had to adjust PH or top off 2 or more times a day since. Been letting the level drop and watching numbers while keeping PH in check. I think I've finally found a stable EC too. For now anyway. Water level drops, EC drops slightly, ph rises slightly. Taking almost 24hrs to swing from 5.61 up to 6.12 instead of 8-12hr. Been thinking about cutting back GC and just keeping it alive so dead roots don't disrupt WG but let WG finish as best it can. GC is THAT far behind from the looks of it. Trimmed em both up late in their day yesterday. Open it up a bit so the lowers on WG can bulk up too. Adding to the list of things I should have done differently and will share at the very end. =========================================================================================== Day 45- ditched the net AGAIN tonight. No leak, shit was just annoying being in my way. Also been thinking ALLOT about my choices in life... latest is why did I plant two diff strains in the same pot and how can I make the best of it? They don't grow at the same rate or eat the same. WG is a PIG! Thought long and hard and have made the decision to cut back GC some to give WG her room to bloom. WG didn't stretch much and GC is still going. Keep supercropping it to keep it out of the fan and same distance from the light as WG. I have to keep both alive till the end, unless I throw in the towel on GC at WG harvest and chop em both. Really don't want to waste the experiment, so I may get creative at the end. Only have the one tent and was planning on drying in it since I've got the closet its in dialed in. Really don't want to make a cardboard dry box... =========================================================================================== Day 46- Going to wean these girls off the N next RES change. GC is starting to stretch more, and still refusing to make the transition. maybe less N will do the trick?? kick up the bloom a bit as well. WG is ready for it for sure. GC may have an issue with it, but she'll survive. gave em both a defol before lights out today. heavier on GC than WG since WG isnt bushing up as fast as she used to. the light frosting is getting more populated also. side RES is working out beautifully! =========================================================================================== Day 47- little prune on GC today to keep it out of WG's way. Plucked a few here and there off WG to keep it opened up. Colas everywhere! Going to be one short dense plant that's for sure. If GC gets to a finish, it's going to be a bunch of popcorn from the looks of it. Time will tell. =========================================================================================== Day 48- light prune on GC to keep it out of the way, since its decided to be like 3wk behind WG. maybe tonights RES change will punt it in gear, and itll start exploding in flowers... yeah, i smoked before typing this so the pipe dreams are real on this one.. dialing back the calmag plus (since it has N in it) to 4mL a gallon. dialing back the N in the modified formulation from GHE week 3 "mid bloom" medium feed. formulation as follows: Tap/Zero Water - 2.5gal/2.5gal 81ppm calmag plus - 20mL ^ to 307ppm Micro - 26.5mL Grow - 26.5mL Bloom - 41mL RES totals after PH corrections - 1148ppm @ 5.63. Measured the total volume needed to fill both the waterfarms RES and the external RES and it came to 18.4L. i scooped nearly every drop out of the side RES, but didnt even tilt the waterfarm. so there was prob a quarter to a half gal left in the farm. safe to say roughly 19L capacity. a HUGE increase from a measly 8L from factory. thats before roots fill the RES too, leaving you with NOTHING for water/nutes. so ill have to measure once again when the system is empty and see the true total volume without fillers. tis the end of week 7 i suppose. i will update the timelapse tomorrow afternoon to wrap up the week. i have a 3 week day 27-47 vid on YT if you're actually reading this and want to see the up to date clip. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YKtqPxKeMNM *edit* looks like GC is finally starting to hit the transition harder closer to end of the day today looking at vid.. =========================================================================================== As always, thanks for stopping by and checking out my current grow experiment.
