Day 42 - Another week gone by! No issues. Just water when dry. Gaia Green is proving itself to be a valuable addition. Makes growing so much easier. Speaking of easy, this strain takes well to any training induced on it but for this girl, I might just let her go naturally. We’ll see.

Week 11 and the buds are getting bigger. The tent still has a softer smell to it, not overwhelming at all. The buds are growing but still look like they need to plump. Tons of white hairs and frost developing. I’m still feeding nuts since it looks like it has some time still.

Ran out of headroom in the tent, WW#2 is sitting at about ~49 Inches Tall with NL 1&2 close behind at around 42 inches. WW#1 is flowering nicely and sitting at 27 Inches, propper up on buckets and with added supplemental lighting which will also help the lower budsites on main colas on the other plants. Hope that WW2 doesnt stretch any further or i'll have to start training it a little to keep it away from the light but growth is definitely slowing at least.

Hi all 🧑‍🌾 Welcome to my 🍌💜👊 week update. Hope everyone keeping well and having a great week😁 Thank you so much for so much support on this bananas ride 🙏💜💚💜💚 Everything still going pretty well. Girls are developing and stretching like crazy. Athena currently Dec 14 90cm and main stem of Xena is not far of this height either. Unfortunately noticed first signs of calcium deficiency(my opinion) on Athena. Thankfully started feeding both girls with calmag weeks back but the dosage wasn't not enough for Athena. Started small treatment very next day on Dec 11 (see description below) I belive got my baby back on right track. Week 9 Dec 11-17 Dec 11 Watering was planned for Tuesday but due to calcium deficiency decided for a little treatment. Watered both girls with mixture of reduced content of growth nutes by 50% calmag at 1.2 ml per ltr. Reduced solution PH to 6.2 as apperently it's ideal for calcium consumption. Over period 4h I have watered Athena with 5ltr with couple runoffs. Xena 3ltr. Total of 7-10 leaves affected mainly at top colas close to the light. Dec 12-13 Purely observation and all looking well. Of course all affected leaves will progres of showing signs but good news is that growth and development booming and don't see any new leaves with symptoms. Very nice trichomes development in recent days and more and more colours. Dec 14 Second watering for this week 6.5l Increased calmag to 1.4ml per ltr and if still things will be looking well reduce to 1 or 1.2 on next feeding. Dec 15 Very nice respond on yesterday feeding. They definitely fatten over night and getting more and more frosty. Will need to remove some foliage soon as getting extremely bushy again. Dec 17 Xenas main stem top cola almost touched the light today. Tied her to left side of the cabinet, applied selective defoliation on both girls, tied few branches to netting and on the end of this busy day a third watering for this week. 7 ltrs beetwen both. Runoffs Xena PH6.4 Athena 6.3. Very nice week have to say. I belive that calcium deficiency on Athena is no longer a case here and both girls developing very nicely. Altough the "anonymous" seedling was still a bit behind, I decided to move the plants into the AutoPots. The pots were still disconnected from the tank and the plants were handwatered for the time being. 3 days later it was clear that "anonymous" had died. I was getting a bit frustrated since the fourth pot was now empty and the other 3 plants were growing happily. I started another germination attempt.

Blue Dream'Matic is going well the bud sites are starting to get fatter and fatter. I kind of expected this one to stretch more and grow larger, but she still has several weeks to go and I think the buds are going to be huge! 💪 Added Fox Farms Organic Big Bloom to the feeding this week with Recharge. Looking forward to the results.

Week 8 done and stretch all done. Pretty happy with the space I’ve filled out now, just need to get through the next few weeks and should be a success. All look quite different, 3 and 4 super frosty. 1 and 2 not really. Just not overwatering or over feeding and trying to be patient. Really hoping they get fat and colourful but will take what I get. Now smoking the Strawberry pie which has cured nicely from the last run. So nice, feeling very grateful to my earlier self for growing it. Thanks for reading have a great week 😊

❄️Après 53 jours de floraison j'ai récolté 2 plantes de kong's krush qui m'ont donné 41 grammes de bourgeons sec et manucurées. ❄️Je pense que j'aurais pu ajouter + de nutriment dans mon sol et arrosé plus fréquemment pour avoir un plus gros butin, c'est prévu pour la prochaine culture ! ❄️Je commence à gouter mes bourgeons qui sont encore en train de curer depuis 5 semaines. ❄️Chaque variétés ont des saveur particulière et j'ai toujours ça trouvé assez complexe de les décrire. En tout cas La saveur de la kong's krush est vraiment inédite pour moi et vraiment plaisante. Week 2 transplanted from solo cups to 5 gal pots an 1 into 7 gal grow bag. Plants had good healthy roots in solo cups..plants keep growing vigorously from the start!!!

This was a fun project that was a few years in the making and a year later to see if they would last a season for this upload to happen. Before any of this I would bike aorund town grabbing up all the old Ikea solid pine bed slats that I could find and storing them in the basement. I have a lot of wood down there, any size worked as long as I have enough of them. The hot days to find them were the first and last of the months because that's when people where moving in/out. I also kept an eye on the free section on local online classifieds as well. The entire purpose of this was to recycle as much off the streets as I could before buying anything to finalize the project. In the end I only bought sealer, screws and some takeaway/beers. All the wood was 100% free and salvaged off the streets of Toronto saving it from the dumpster bin. After collecting all the slats for about 2 years I was playing aorund with them on how I wanted to make this work. I had previously done a little project like this before but I messed it up and the boxes where crap. did not last longer then 2 seasons, they where thin and shallow as well could not grow much of anything in them. I Was talking to my friend who is renovating their house and we brainstormed some ideas on the boxes, I found some designs I liked online and said lets make something like this out of what I have here. We tossed out a few of the design features when looking at them as it would have been wasted wood and extra work not needed. If I had more wood them maybe it could have been an option but simple was the name of the game. They taught me what I needed to know like how the miter saw and sander worked, plus all the other tools I was using. They did help out with a table saw and creating the triangle support joints in the corners, They used some pine left overs they had while making a staircase indoors. I did not feel up to the task of using a table saw given all the relatives I know who have lost a finger to them. In the end we decided the design would be three boards high and take an alternating pattern on corners. layer one short, layer 2 long, layer 3 short. Went with a galvanized and painted deck screw so it can take the weathering. Ran into some problems like making everything level as some of the boards were warped and other ones had undesired aspects like knots and tacky sticker goo I could not remove. So I used them for the base that will not been seen so much. Clamped everything down and called it a day. Once it was all done and over with, I then brought them back home from my buddies work garage and started to seal them. I went with a boiled linseed oil as its a food safe option should the wood degrade into the soil I will plant in them. I will need to reapply it to the boxes year after year but the main coat is the most important one and I put it on 3 layers with a good dry in between coats. the inside of the boxes that where coated did not degrade at all as the sun did not hit them so it will not need a new coat just the outside. Overall the end result was very impressive for myself, I've never taken a woodworking class ever and It was a near perfect outcome for me. Heavy Duty Planter Boxes for all my gardening needs. I made a last min decision to add in a plastic liner to preserve the wood even longer and stapled that into the frame. it has held up quite well and may need replacing end of 2nd or 3rd year out in the sun. 08/29/2018 Been a hot week but the girls don't seem to mind,90s in the day 82° at night and sticky,muggy weather. Their leaves all pointing ☝️,lets me know they are happy ☺️ .watered with plain water they were pretty dry pots weight was very light. Will feed and water in in morning sleep well and medicated😎 08/31/2018 Just a note today #1 is very green compared to the other 4 plants, could be potted plants running low on nitrogen? My soil has plenty according to soil test. I know last year's crop in soil was pale like other 4 plants, maybe biochar is helping soil retain it's nutes better? Year 2 for biochar, first year could have tied up some nutes....hmmm? Ps Last feeding today Fox farms big bloom at heavy feeder dose 1/2 cup per gallon, should see nice gains this week! 🙏🙏🙏. Pss. G GTH #4 loosing her smells, #3 smells of Skunk and coffee ☕,#2 minty chlorophyll orange,#1 menthal,skunky but very lite scent. Should I pollinate a branch of each? Oh my God the pressure! I’ve kept almost all the fertilizer, light, and environmental parameters the same. I did a good defoliation to improve airflow, since I was having a bit of trouble lowering the humidity. This also helps the light penetrate better through the buds, allowing them to develop more fully.
