So as you can see my girls suffered a bit in week 3 but are on the mend. I've continued to LST them tying down the new growth sites and either tucking or removing the fan leaves to allow light to penetrate to the new growth sites I'm going to veg for 2/3 more weeks then flip them Just did a complete water change and stripped down the whole system to clean the water pipes air pipes and air stones. After visiting my local hydroponics shop they recommended a organic ph up and down which I thought sounded good less chemicals in my grow what's not to like about that. However once I had used them I quickly realised they had issues I was constantly checking and adjusting my ph levels as they would drop to 5.3 and over the course of a few hours would rise to 7.4 upon checking my water pump I found my filters where completely blocked so I flushed them and put them back in and it seemed to work fine until the next day when I checked again and yet again they where blocked. I think they had reacted with my other nutrients and caused a brown funky sludge. I have scrubbed each bucket and reservoir to get rid of the gunk then used disinfect on all the equipment and the grow room. Hey everyone! Here's the Week 6 update! 😀 and I had some issues! Nothing too serious but still worth mentioning! I had some kind of algae growing in my medium so I stopped watering the plants for a while (I used to feed them twice a week) and I just did it once this week to wait for the plants to use more of the water inside their pots and I think it did work! I also removed most of the soil on the top to avoid spreading anything dangerous to my plants! 😭 Besides that I started doing a more aggressive LST and I also pruned some of the bigger sugar leafs 😲 My plants were also somewhat overfed (or I was close to nutrient locking them) as some of their leafs were quite dark (you'll be able to notice the difference from the color of the new leafs vs the old ones) so for the next schedules I'll just feed them once per week or feed them once then go only with pH'd water and then go back to fertilizers to avoid damaging the plant! 💀 On another note, the smallest plant has grown quite well so next week I'll be swapping her to a new por! I think she deserves it! The 3rd plant now has a name and it's "Boomer"! 😍 I also decided to go for 4 colas instead of 8 because the size available in my tent is small and I don't want risking my plants fighting for light in such a small space! 😢 Anyway, thanks everyone for reading everything so far! This was the girls last week! I decided to call them finished on day 63 the tricomes are almost all cloudy, with a small amount of amber. I’ve learned that they continue to degrade as you dry and cure your flower, so I’m trying something new for me, and pull them a little earlier than I usually would. In addition, after watching a podcast (Dude Grows Show) if you don’t know, check it out… I decided to run the lights for 18 hours instead of 12/12 for the last 5 days before harvest. The idea behind this, is to stress the plant enough to increase its natural sunblock/protections, which would be terpenes and tricomes just before you harvest, while also possibly quickening the finishing time for your plant. The group was discussing the benefits of this (listed above) while some already had implemented these practices when finishing plants. The recommended time to run extra light time would be around the last 5-9 days of the plant, without having any nanners or weirdness happening with your plants. 🌱 VEGETATIVE (4 weeks) The Runtz seed, placed in a root-riot cube within a DWC net pot, successfully sprouted by day 4, under an 18/6 light cycle (50W at 50cm). The first week saw the seedling establish itself, with roots extending into the DWC reservoir. During the second week, despite slightly low humidity and temperature, the seedling demonstrated robust and rapid growth. Light intensity was increased to 75W. Towards the end of this week, I removed the first set of true leaves as they were growing too close to the substrate. The third week marked a noticeable increase in the plant's water uptake (1 LT/day), which prompted me to raise the nutrient solution's EC to 1.0. The plant showed significant development while maintaining a compact stature – a trait I appreciated. In the fourth and final week of vegetation, as odors began to emerge, I installed a carbon filter, raised the EC to 1.2, keep the pH in the right range and boosted the light intensity further to 150W. By the end of this phase, the plant was bushy, compact (21 cm height), and healthy. 🌸 FLOWERING (8 weeks) For the first week I switched the light cycle to 12/12 and introduced a new nutrient solution adding Power Buds to the mix. During the second week I was impressed to see preflowers clearly visible as early as day 10 of flowering. So, during the third week I made a substantial defoliation session to manage the plant's increasing bushiness, which I knew would be crucial for later-stage light penetration and humidity control. In the fourth week I introduced a PK 8/9 booster, Green Sensation, thereby increasing the phosphorus and potassium concentration in the solution, water consumption around 3 LT/day. Towards the end of the week, I performed another significant defoliation, including the removal of lower, light-starved branches, to which the plant responded well. During the fifth week the stretching phase concluded, with the plant reaching its final height of 69cm. Its focus shifted to bud development, and the foliage began to adopt a darker hue. At this point, my role was primarily to maintain stable environmental parameters and a correct pH in reservoir. During the sixth week buds were visibly swelling daily, the plant remained in excellent health, and resin production became more pronounced. For the seventh week I implemented a change in feeding, completely cutting the nitrogen from the DWC solution, using only Green Sensation at a higher concentration. In the eighth and final week of flowering (week 12 overall), I performed a complete DWC reservoir change. I filled it with plain tap water and maintained this for 4 days leading up to harvest. On day 56 of flowering (84 from seed), the Runtz plant appeared perfectly ready. The buds were dense and glistening, pistils mostly browned and retracted, and trichomes displayed a good mix of milky and some amber. Immediately after harvesting her, I removed the fan leaves, deciding to dry these as well due to their remarkable resin content. ✅ DRYING The entire plant was hung to dry inside the grow box, which was kept completely dark with constant, gentle air circulation for 8 days. The average VPD during this period was maintained around 1.2 (approximately 20°C and 50% RH). Once this drying period was complete, I trimmed off all the sugar leaves. These resinous sugar leaves will be combined with the already dried fan leaves and larf buds, and I plan to use them to make cannabutter for edibles. ⚖️ Dry weight After the 8-day drying period, and once all the remaining small leaves and branches were removed from the buds, I weighed the final product: The harvest yielded: - 150 grams of dense buds and 5 grams of finger hash. For edibles: - 30 grams of larf and a large amount of fan and sugar leaves. ✅ CURING For the curing process, the dried buds were placed in a large, airtight glass jar. This jar was stored in a dark location within a room maintaining a stable temperature of around 20°C for a total of 45 days. The burping schedule was as follows: Day 1-7: twice daily for 10 min. Day 8-10: once daily for 10 min. Day 11-14: every other day for 10 min. Day 15-21: every 3 days for 10 min. Day 22-30: every 4 days for 10 min. Day 31-45: No burping. 📑 SMOKE REVIEW - At 15 days cured a vegetal note is still quite present and the smoke is a bit harsh, typical for a short cure. The effects are already pleasant and potent, very promising. - After 30 days of curing, the Runtz has improved considerably. The vegetal smell has mostly faded, giving way to a much more defined sweet and fruity fragrance reminiscent of candy and berries. The smoke is noticeably smooth, euphoric effects are dominant. - At 45 days, Runtz has expressed its full potential and is now perfectly cured for daily enjoyment. The aroma is intense and complex, an explosive mix of sweet candy and tropical notes. The effects are potent, starting with an uplifting cerebral euphoria that evolves into a pleasant body relaxation, without leading to couch-lock. 🍕 I also made cannabutter which I used to finish a risotto. The result was insane – both the risotto itself and the potency of the cannabutter were exceptional!

Week 9 All plants are growing vigorously in a healthy way. Side branches are stretching, structure is enlarging since topping. Approximately same size; the bigger are Flash Back #2 & Brake Pad Breath. Daylight 15h40 - 6h20/22h Found some aphids on the Royal Moby: I sprayed Black Soap on every plants and cleaned the infested plant leaf by leaf. I placed sticky traps in each pot: yellow, blue and black for the different type of insects Major parts of the time plants are in the veranda; clean, sunny and ventilated room. It’s easier to control pests and diseases, but the risk is the contamination between plants in this type of closed space. I sprayed Neem oil too. 2 watering: -roots stimulator + enzyme -grow nutrients + Bio Heaven Added more soil in pot (1.5L/plants) : Worm Humus + bat guano + diatomaceous earth (natural mineral insecticide) + vermiculite Sprayed Fish Mix.

Day 79 11/28/2021- Welcome to week four of flower. Today fed nutrients and did a defoliation to take off the smaller buds that won’t get enough light. Day 81 11/30/2021- Just water her today. 20.05 Noticed one girl with some drinking issues ... maybe some problem with the capilar effect of the autopot system. Top watered this plant and will inspect that one a bit closer the next days. Except that am really happy about the grow at the moment, the autopot system safe so much time, it's impressive. 22.05 Installed a ScrOG net

26.12.24: I have noticed light stress on my plants. I had moved the lights further away and increased the light intensity to 70%. Unfortunately that created some issues. Namely severe palour of the leaves. To try and rectify the situation, I've dimmed the lights to about 30%, staying at the same distance, about 30 inches away. I measured the par levels, after I did this. They should a reading of anywhere between 40 and 150, at the canopy of the plants. They are all different sizes. This seems to have improved the colouring on all plants. After this evenings watering, I will monitor recovery and increase lighting intensity again slowly. I am also using the light cycle of 21/3, so the plants have many hours more light to absorb, than for example 12/12 or 18/6. 29.12.24: So I finally gave LST a shot, it's probably a bit too late, however I really want to get the most of the triploid pheno, and I went a little crazy and LST'd all plants except 2, as they're too small. I did that late last night, this afternoon I was amazed to see the plants turn their leaves back to the light source. I'm glad I overcame my fear of trying it. I'm very excited to see them adapt and progress! 😁 there are videos above with before and after of my LST process. I am pleased with the progress, considering all of my mistakes! Big textwall incoming homies: Here Im doin some shit i knew from owning low to middle branded smd grow panels* how is that usually they come with both uv , ir, far red even newer quantum boards supplements itself with diverse chips extending their photosynthetic spectrum or making specific accesory bars / modules yet my purporse is rather focus on UV as this 15w bar (advertised as nominal 9 x 3w powered led) with UV-A 390-400nm spectrum – something that trigger some reaction to the plants with some other color son the flowering phase and trying to establish functional a ratio , as a bit of blue green and yellow have specific purposes instead of providing absurd quantities of red light , as there is some lateral cold bulbs in smaller but necessary ratios (as blue spectrum is still required on flowering , yet the original purpose was to complement mid to low branch development) in this shitty set up bonding with the upper bulbs and their colour temperature schema, every light has it's own schedule as how i suppose is a morning to night as something that cause plant resistance response (kinda noticed something i need to stimulate as i see a bit of fox-tailing but now with the uv-a i propose to build resistance and activate defense mechanisms like resin and of course, plant morphology according to its stage making bulkier , tankier , according to outdoor’s atmosphere i want to replicate as optimal weather as well – i hope this hardship make them more resilient and increase their health points as here i’s a HOT GIRL SUMMER- even indoors it rises my base temperature makes smell notorious, but as is not the usual weed smell make it and advantage in terms of discretion Killer Kush presents slight sweet tones not very prominent, the only herbal smell can be associated to pine undermining the refined coffee-like smell that is the dominant note (this selection of kush lack of lemon notes up to this point i can say it’s earthy with a bit of sour & sweetness) .
