17/01 So I have had serious doubts about my 300W CFL grow light since day 1 so I decided to instead opt for a Mars Hydro TS1000. Looking forward to seeing if there's any difference! With regards to my previous grow question, my tap water, while drinkable tastes terrible and has a higher than normal amount of chlorine which i heard is terrible for plants. Hence the RO water. Got hit by a really cold spell last week and I struggled to keep the tent above 16 degrees C but it's starting to get back to normal now so hopefully will see some good growth :) 20/01 So I may have set her back by a couple of day's with the new light, apart from the apparent change in wavelength from CFL to led that can cause some stress I also gave her 100% on the dimmer. Just a quick note to any newbies out there, the Mars Hydro TS1000 gives you a recommended distance from the canopy for each stage of growth but not recommended power, if your girl is at my stage of growth use 25-30%. On the bright side she has adapted nicely and no lasting damage seems to have been done. Seeing signs of growth all over and she's back to praying :) 23/01 She recovered from the change of light nicely! She's growing like a superstar now and just got her first feed today. Gonna take it easy on the nutrients, really don't wanna stress her out anymore. I have been turning up the light strength daily and she's currently happy at 50%.

Wow oh wow 🤩 to start I’ll say I’ve been very careful watching the feeds timing them almost perfectly! Also was a struggling week with humidity! Lucky I have my tricks to keep it down (no dehumidifier) 😊 I use air control 😉 (in the house) air control in the tent is perfect or next to perfect anyway! The aromas are continuously getting stronger and I am in for a treat! This time is my best time! It just shows! But every next time is my best time as I only get better at this!

No nutrition for this week as i will harvest them at the end of week 8 of flowers as i am seeing 5% ember on Girl Scout Cookies and 30 or 40% on Green Gelato..

D57/FD29 - So, at the last few days of week 4, the SCP had a good push to itself...put on about 6-9" so had to do some bending/leaning of some pretty stiff stems. Unfortunately the only way for them to go was towards the tent walls so drops the light but they're getting WAYYYY over the DLI they should be getting without supplementation of CO2 but its not doing them too much harm. They're drinking a ton but not taking on as much feed (as I've come to expect now in flower) so dropped the base and bloom by 10% (same recommended ratio of 1:1) and kept the PK9/18 booster in there at (what would be recommended) strength for this week...its the same as last week but week 1 (week 4 of flower) of PK9/18 should have been double...didn't want to overdo it as when I used recommended strength 1st time I got it, it created some serious root zone acidification (Which could have been all the K getting used up but was a mare getting the pH up from 4.something every day!!!). Did my usual root flush/wash before adding feed as the EC had crept up to 2.2 (and I know from experience, that starts messing with your numbers if you don't wash that out right) and took about 50L-60L to get the tank to 0.3EC (base is 0.2) was was a lot of salt sitting on/in the roots. Had a ton of underscreen dead leaf to pick up and just cut some wee straggly offshoots (I know, bad idea in flower but they were basically dead/no nutritional value left so basically a bug magnet). Still waiting on Bluelab to send me the RMA approved pH pen...been 2 weeks now since the RMA was approved and still no postage - using an "essentials" pH meter and just dipping in Calibration Fluids between each feed add to ensure some accuracy (As you can see from my recipe page, I like to know what the feed does to the pH - also gives an idea on what they're feeding on when you see pH swings in a different direction that expected). Geekbeast also got back to me. In all fairness, I've been dealing with them direct (Got the light fixture from Alibaba, direct from China - big gamble, right???) and they have been more than helpful. I have been telling them about the light randomly coming on at 5% (lowest brightness) and provided evidence; turns out someone else now noticed the same issue with the Remote App controlled variant and they believed it was a loose control board/wire. They said they did some stuff and that fixed it but I also thought mine was fixed by forcing the dimmer to 0% and it still randomly happened (even though it didn't do it for weeks) so the other person may still get a surprise!! 😋 So, I took out the driver today, pulled out the control board and all wires seemed good and no looseness in the control board (although it does look slightly bent as the Spade for the IR/UV switch isn't fully bedded in). But, like I say, in all fairness to Geeklight, they're posing me a new control board tomorrow from China AND giving me the longer driver cables so as I can put the driver outside of the tent! Give me a bit more room for my Flower Initiator and great to see them honouring the Warranty. Apart from that, wish the SCP would start to set flowers better, they're still looking a bit weak up top but stems appear to be stacking. Hopefully now that last push happened (and hopefully all pushed out!!!!), they will concentrate on buds only...this may be a 10+ week-er - which again, cant really afford as growing tent is drying tent!!! Its supposed to be a 75% indica so would expect bigger/quicker flowering but not showing too many symptoms of being mostly indica...maybe not quite a fully stable genetic line yet?? I dunno but its running slower like a sativa - even with the flower initiator and the late push would maybe imply that too??? Funnily, its tent mate, Red Hot Cookies is 60% sativa and has set flowers quite well so far - showing colour to the tips of the pistils...just wish it would start turning pink!!! Damn this strain is something else I’ve never smelt anything this potent and exotic! Ripper seeds really out did themselves with this one .. I would say that the only downside is that one of the pheno’s came out looking too regular for me .. I’m strain hunting so finding something truly perfect is my goal and in this run I can’t say I found any keepers but I would definitely recommend trying this strain ! I promise it’s like nothing you have ever tasted or smelled before!

Flowering is developing well. Genetics Very very greedy in fertilizer... After a written exchange with the breeder, he recommended a mineral fertilizer, and not an organic organic one. The flowering is developing very, very well, but small spots have appeared on the foliage for no apparent reason. If anyone can give me the beginnings of a solution, I'm interested.

Hey guys so another few weeks have passed this girl is coming along nicely now . Little bushy at moment expect stretch in next few weeks .

WEEK 4 — Lemon OG in Bloom Mode 🍋 The girls have officially passed the stretch and are now focusing all their energy on flower production. Bud development is progressing well, and overall health is solid. Today was feeding day — full program again. To support healthy bloom development and address early signs of calcium/magnesium deficiency (visible on one of the bigger plants), I slightly adjusted the recipe: 💧 Feeding mix (15 L water total): • 60 ml Biobizz Bloom • 20 ml Topmax • 30 ml Effective Microorganisms (EM) • ~50 ml Molasses (for pH adjustment, target 6.2) • 20 ml CalMag • 1.6 g Epsom salt (for magnesium support) The canopy is dense and vibrant green. Some lower pruning was done earlier this week to improve airflow and light penetration. One plant is under observation due to suspicious growth, but nothing critical so far. Been tough keeping up with everything started a new job and has been hectic lately. ladies are doing good. feeding her based on the biobizz schedule. Havent checked Ph or PPM of runoff in a bit but have been keeping nute solution between 6.1-6.3 Im so mad i topped her a little too early she smells so damn funky would have loved to see her get to her full potential. Cant wait to pop another of these and give her another try. Thickening a bit hopefully she'll end up with some small sized colas. Its tough getting pictures of her with the lights on in tent. better pics soon!!

4 September 2022 Flowering: 42 days - 6 weeks Tip of foliage showing sign of maybe pH imbalance or too much fertilizer? Did a small water flush. The run off water was very acidic, added water until run off was 6 pH Maybe time for water only now 10-15 more days till harvest??

DAY 62 1 day early of start of new week, just waiting for some more ambers, nearly ready🎉 Still running RO only, 40 PPM. Still keeping it pH’d, it likes to drop slowly still. However, I don’t get why pH is important during flush tho. Not like I need to keep nutrients available for plant to suck up... 🤷‍♂️ I’ve been considering drilling some holes into the base of the main stem as to simulate the stalk-splitting technique. Maybe it’ll help speed things up... I’ll check trichs again tonight when lights kick on and make an executive decision and post updated pictures if it’s a go ahead. Day 63 I split me some stalks! Uploaded a video of the procedure. Day 64 This phenotype is developing purple leaves? Photos uploaded. Day 65 Harvesting... Day 66 More Harvesting... Day 67 Taking clones, moving veg plants to bloom tent. This grow is drying.

5/4: Her two tops suddenly stretched a few inches. I'll tie them down in the next couple of days and when they get to the third node, I'll top them again. I gave her a little water with myco, kelp, molasses, cal-mag, silica, and humic acid. 5/6: I fed her about a gallon of water with boomerang, grow big, big bloom, cal-mag, silica, and humic acid. This was the last time I'll give her any grow big or boomerang...there's plenty of good stuff to support good growth for at least a month in the Happy Frog dry fertilizer I'm using. I did a little LST on her today...split those two main colas really well and tied them into horizontal positions on opposite sides of the pot. I used gorilla wood glue to seal the split. 5/7: I foliar fed with big bloom, grow big, silica, fulvic acid, and molasses. 5/8: I did a foliar application of Axiom harpin proteins. 5/9: I did a foliar application of boom boom spray. 5/10: She's growing very well now, so I topped all her main shoots and tied them them down to encourage the lower branches to compete for apical dominance. I'll water her tomorrow if it doesn't rain. That's it for week 5
