Week 9: Growth, Clones, and Preparing for Buds This week brought some important changes to the grow! The plants stretched significantly, taking advantage of the rainy weather, despite the temperature fluctuations. Overall, the conditions are supporting their development well. Notes: I made a few more clones, and so far, all of them are thriving. It's exciting to see a 100% survival rate for the clones so far. Out of the 12 plants, I identified three males. Two of them have started opening their pollen sacs, and I’ve begun collecting. The pollen is being stored in the freezer for future breeding projects. I did a light defoliation to improve light penetration to the lower branches, which should help promote even growth.

On the 29th, irrigation was not possible for 2 days (25% dry leaves), they probably got a shock... Electricity fell into it. We'll see what happens in the end. Currently 33 days in bloom.

I’m quite surprised as to how well these girls are looking and smelling!! They’re quality genetics but i also believe every strain will provide pros and cons during the grow. This one particularity has been quite the learning experience. Cannabis is quite the resilient plant and I definitely like growing them. As far as this week goes they’re definitely producing more trichomes and resin glands and appears there’s no more stretch from the plant. No more new growth even small amounts hidden within the canopy. I did a little flush earlier this week and it made the tips of what fan leaves turn yellowish so it def means we’re getting close to the end. Prob got another 2 weeks before I fully flush for Atleast a week then pulling them down. The trichs will be the ultimate deciding factor. I’ll pull when i see the first sign as I like more of a heady high than a couch-lock with little to none clear. Well till next week y’all happy growin and hopefully ya had a good thanksgiving

Tag 22: Beide Pflanzen sind schon in die Blüte gegangen. Tag 23: Zeit zum umtopfen! Von 3L auf 6L Topfgröße. Eigentlich wird ja von umtopfen von Automatics abgeraten. Aber ich habe bei meiner letzten Automatic damit erstaunlich gute Erfahrungen gemacht. Das wollte ich nun nochmal testen mit anderen Sorten. Tag 25: getoppt bei 4 Nodien. Wow just wow the strain is a keeper so far she stinks ,trains well and grows fast .. The tent stinks and she is really doing her part in that , the plant sucks up a lot of water and nutrients ... The growth is very much so branching out a lot and she loves the lights I have just stretching and praying upwards ...can't wait for next week she gonna be vegging for a while still .cheers

So this week the little gelatocake is on week 8 and is really starting to eat herself now, full of trichomes and smells like tutti fruity chewie sweets. Last week of nutes for her then mollases only. Week 7 for the othere gelatocake and shes starting to fatten up now as well as fade also. Babys have got big since re potting I will.bend them over later. Sherbert mimosa are still taking there time I think they are starting to get bigger 🤔🤣 I Will keep you updated lol. Happy growing guys 👌💪💚

14/01/21 He cumplido un mes de vida, mido 12cm y soy feliz, sobre todo cuando estoy en la ventana mirando el cielo, hoy mi jefe me ha sacado al exterior, había un bonito sol de invierno y me ha dicho que me vendrá muy bien para la fotosíntesis. Por fin he conocido a las plantas de exterior, son raras, me han dicho que son de la familia de los cactus, me parecen poco sociables, tienen pinchos y me da miedo acercarme... 19/01/21 Hace dos días que hace sol y disfruto cada tarde al exterior. Mi jefe está contento por las numerosas raíces verticales que asoman por mi base, dice que así mis raíces no se enrollan en la maceta y podré respirar mejor!! 😍 Cada día tengo más sed... me gusta estar hidratada 😅 20/01/21 Hoy ha sido un día muy especial, con muchos cambios... I loved!! 😘 Hoy esperaba mi nueva maceta, en realidad la esperaba ayer, pero mi jefe no pudo y me prometió que hoy sería el día... casi no he dormido de emoción!! 😳 es mi puesta de largo... soy una adolescente!! mi jefe me lo ha dicho!!... I loved!! 😍 Por la mañana mi jefe me puso en la ventana, el día estaba nublado, pero la temperatura de 15°C era idónea, después de un rato comenzó a soplar un fuerte viento... aterrada y temiendo por mi vida, grité socorro!! 😱 ... ¡Ja Ja Ja, te vendrá muy bien para fortalecer tu tallo y ramas!! decía mi jefe riéndose de mi... no es justo, he pasado mucho miedo 😔, porque el viento no es igual que el aire del ventilador de mi carpa, el viento va y viene, cambia de dirección y de intensidad... me hace bailar!! 😍 Esta tarde ha comenzado el proceso para cambiar mi maceta, mi jefe ha elegido una muy moderna, grande y llena de protuberancias y agujeros, no se😒, es un estilo muy tecnológico y soy una cepa clásica... para tranquilizarme mi jefe me ha asegurado que es la mayor que tiene y que mis raíces se propagarán muchísimo y estarán muy oxigenadas y eso hará de mi una grande y bella planta, y además, si sigo creciendo fuerte como hasta ahora, me pondrá una carpa de floración para mi sola... I Loved!! 😍 He visto todo el proceso y los componentes de mi nuevo sustrato, estoy aprendiendo mucho, mi jefe me lo explica muy bien... dos tierras ligeras a base de turbas, un poco de bocashi casero para aportar nutrientes y microorganismos, humus de lombriz para dar estructura al suelo y fomentar la humificación y microbiología, fibra de coco activada con microorganismos para retener humedad, airear el sustrato e inocular MM, un buen puñado de perlita, vermiculita, arena de río y zeolita para facilitar el drenaje y oxigenar el sustrato... Ah!! y los minerales!! estos me han gustado, definitivamente aportan lo que le faltaba al sustrato, mayormente de composición vegetal... basalto, roca fosfórica, arcillas caolin, illita y montmorillonita para darme sílice y favorecer el intercambio catiónico de nutrientes, azomite rico en magnesio, aluminio y muchos otros minerales, un poco de dolomita para equilibrar el PH y aportar Cálcio, leonardita para dar estructura al suelo, retener humedad y aportar materia orgánica humificada, Piedra pomez y ceniza para completar el aporte de minerales... ...y como punto final, los encargados de procesar estos minerales y componentes del sustrato, para que yo los pueda asimilar son los Microorganismos, mi jefe ha añadido carbón vegetal activado con MM, excelente para retener humedad y nutrientes y Microorganismos de Montaña Sólidos... Guau!! he estado ansiosa todo el tiempo, deseando entrar en mi nuevo sustrato!! 😻 Ya estoy dentro!! en mi nueva maceta, con mi nuevo sustrato... I loved!! 😍 Siento unas cosquillas muy grandes en mis raíces, me han espolvoreado alrededor de ellas, auxinas caseras para promover el crecimiento de mis raíces y esporas de micorrizas para que las protejan contra hongos patógenos. El primer riego en esta maceta me ha encantado, estaba caliente y era dulce... mi jefe me ha dicho que se compone de agua de montaña con un poco de melaza a 22°C, con esta solución está activando los microorganismos del sustrato, la melaza los dará mucha energía para que se propaguen y empiecen a trabajar, ellos la necesitan porque son diabéticos y no almacenan azúcar, cuando yo sea mas grande yo también les enviaré el azúcar para que trabajen con ganas!! Y lo que realmente me ha vuelto loca es el Mulch!!.. I loved, loved, loved!! 😍 es el mejor material que almacenaba mi jefe, pequeñas hojas y tallos secos, sobrantes de las limpiezas de cogollos, mucha materia orgánica que mantendrá la humedad en la parte superior de la maceta, será la comida de los microorganismos y creará un ecosistema ideal para la microbiología!! Y a la hora de dormir... sorpresa!!...no puedo con tantas emociones!! 😅 ... nueva carpa más grande, limpia, desinfectada y con luces a estrenar, la comparto con otras tres plantas, bellas y mucho más grandes que yo... quiero ser como ellas cuando sea mayor!! 😃... bueno, yo soy la pequeña pero tengo la maceta más grande jejej!! 😋 Antes de ponerme en mi carpa, me han lavado las hojas con jabón potásico, me han quedado muy suaves y el jabón me protegerá de una plaga de arañas que está cerca 😨... estoy con miedo!! 💀 La semana que viene voy a poner toda mi energía en propagar mis raíces y crear más hojas... voy a dejar feliz a mi jefe. Welcome to week six! 🌱 Week five was a complete success – all parameters are perfectly aligned. I’ve increased the water conductivity to a solid 3000 and bumped the CO2 level up to 1200 🌿. Light intensity is now set at 1400 µmol in the center and 1000 at the edges, which will keep the plants strong in their generative state 🌞. I’ll maintain these levels until the end of the third week and then start slowly removing the large fan leaves to ensure the buds get plenty of light 💡✨. I’m also trying something new to activate the “Emerson effect” 🌄: I’m running the deep red lights for 5 minutes before sunset and for another 5 minutes after the day ends. This should give the plants a final boost in photosynthesis, helping to maximize their growth potential! Everything’s looking fantastic so far! The Black Cherry has rooted well across different experimental setups, and at the end of the grow, I’ll provide a full report on the best care techniques for both strains 🌺👌. Willkommen in Woche sechs! 🌱 Die fünfte Woche lief perfekt – alle Parameter stimmen. Ich habe die Leitfähigkeit des Wassers auf satte 3000 erhöht und den CO2-Gehalt auf 1200 angehoben 🌿. Die Lichtstärke beträgt jetzt 1400 µmol in der Mitte und 1000 am Rand, was dafür sorgen wird, dass die Pflanzen stark im generativen Zustand bleiben 🌞. Ich werde diese Werte bis Ende der dritten Woche beibehalten und dann langsam damit beginnen, die großen Sonnensegel zu entfernen, damit die Blüten ordentlich Licht abkriegen 💡✨. Zusätzlich probiere ich etwas Neues aus, um den „Emerson-Effekt“ zu aktivieren 🌄: Ich lasse das tiefrote Licht 5 Minuten vor Sonnenuntergang und 5 Minuten nach dem Ende des Tages weiterlaufen. Das sollte der Photosynthese einen letzten Schub geben und das Wachstum der Pflanzen maximal fördern! Bis jetzt sieht alles fantastisch aus! Die Black Cherry ist in verschiedenen Versuchsreihen gut angewachsen, und am Ende des Grows werde ich einen ausführlichen Bericht darüber abgeben, wie sich die beiden Sorten am besten pflegen lassen 🌺👌.

PICTURE VIDEO UPDATE - 10/28/2020 Day 49 - 10/26/2020 Bud site established. Nice big base in relation to my tent. Both nice and strong with new LST + Accidental HST in the last week and a half. Made the best Screen for a ScrOG i've made so far but the accidental breaks during LST/HST didn't heal up in time for me to risk a snap getting them in the net. Good news is the screen is ready and waiting for the next grow (Might go back to photoperiod) Very excited to watch the buds grow so i gave them their final major tie down and defoliation to get the light/air flow set so the final weeks can be hands off. Gave a feeding of Molasses/Water on the 24th and will give another full nute mix feed today or tomorrow (27th/28th) Going to take pictures of the Chocolate Mint OG Autos and give them a final snip/clip down today and get that diary updated by the end of the week as well 🙌 Thanks for checking out this week!
