Week 6 Veg Report – Runtz We Meet Again! Another week, another step forward in our Eternity Grow Cup 2025 journey, and oh boy, do we have a lot to unpack! Cal-Mag Deficiency Adjustment – Pheno #5’s Special Needs This week started with a close inspection of our phenos, and we noticed that Pheno #5 was showing early signs of a calcium/magnesium deficiency. Whether it was slightly off VPD levels or this particular plant being more demanding, we decided to correct it by increasing the dose of RO Water Conditioner. Now, while this isn’t a direct substitute for Cal-Mag, it does contain trace amounts that can help stabilize the situation. 🔬 Understanding Cal-Mag Deficiency: Calcium and magnesium are essential secondary nutrients. Calcium strengthens cell walls, preventing issues like tip burn and weak stems, while magnesium plays a critical role in chlorophyll production, allowing plants to efficiently absorb light energy. 💡 Signs of Deficiency: • Yellowing between veins (Magnesium) • Rust spots on leaves (Calcium) • Slow growth and weak stems ⚡ How We Address It: • Slightly increasing RO Water Conditioner to see if trace minerals help • Keeping an eye on overall nutrient uptake to ensure no lockout • Monitoring VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) closely to optimize nutrient absorption Let’s see how she reacts next week! Branching Development – Pheno #2 Leading the Race All five phenos are thriving, but Pheno #2 is showing the most aggressive branching, pushing outward faster than her sisters. However, overall, we’re seeing very uniform growth, which speaks volumes about the stability of these genetics. 🌱 What is Branching & Why It Matters? Branching is the plant’s way of expanding its canopy, increasing surface area for photosynthesis, and maximizing potential bud sites. Well-structured branches allow better airflow, light penetration, and more even growth—key for a successful high-yield harvest. ⚖️ Topping vs. Leaf Bending – The Training Choice Instead of topping, I’ve decided to go with leaf bending for now. This method allows for gentle manipulation of the plant’s growth without causing major stress. Once we introduce the SCROG (Screen of Green) net, this training will help maximize the canopy spread. Here we are for the Week 8 Update for my biggest grow to date. The ladies are really starting to show trichomes like crazy along with their buds sites swelling seems like every day. Several of the ladies I had to defoliate again because they just became so bushy and I'm trying to make sure even the lower half of the plant is getting enough light. I've also noticed that all the ladies seem to be on the same track except for AK-49 #4 which just didn't grow much due to lack of light at the beginning of its life cycle and Girl Scout Cookies #2, which is almost done! Since I'm in the home stretch I check them every day to see if they need water because they've been super thirsty since they have been in flower. Well, that's gonna wrap it up for this week fellow growers, Happy Growing and remember to "Free Your Mind, One Puff At A Time "😉

We ended up harvesting on day 55 of flower for these girls. 2 of these girls stayed shorter and gave a more spaced out bud stucture, while the other 2 took over the tent and were twice as big and gave a more normal compact bud stucture. 1 plant in particular(front left one) took over the main area of the tent on its side and produced about half of the total weight over all. We ran into some problems with stretching this go round as I’m still trying to figure out these light movers. But trial and error will prevail in the long run I’m sure, just takes so long once you make a change to see the results sometimes it’s tricky. Lol we haven’t cured yet but already it is some nice smelling and tasty buds. Got that classic OG kush kinda smell and taste. I will update more on this once we get some curing time in on it. We ended up with just over 10 ounces of bud and a little over an once of smaller popcorn buds, although with the exception of the one that gave us half the weight, most of the buds on the other 3 girls once broken up where all smaller with a few exceptions. But for an early version strain that is crossed with the ruderalis plant for fast flower it didn’t turn out to bad all things considered. 11 ounces off 4 plants in 55 days is ok in my books. Lol we also got a crap load of trim and just the lower fluffy stuff we will use for baking and oil making. Overall it was very easy to go, took some good ph swings like a champ and really didn’t give me any trouble with the exception of my mistakes and experimenting with my light rail movers.

04/04 se levantaron hermosas! Les faltaba alimento a las pobres plantas, Se realiza fertilizacion foliar y se riega el sustrato con el estimulador de floración big one. 500 cm3 de agua de osmosis + 500 cm3 de agua del grifo + 0.5 ml - cal mag de top crop + 1.5 ml de big one - top crop. EC: 1.1 PH: 6.3. En 10 días se pasa a flor. Se agrega al sustrato 20 gramos de bokashi de murciélago 🦇 vegetativo 07/04 se riega con 2 litros de agua( 50% osmosis + 50% canilla) + 1 ml de cal-mag de top crop (una bomba) + 2 ml de oro negro de namaste PH: 6.2 EC: 1.0 Se coloca red para hacer scrog

7/29/24 week 8. Flipping is around the corner. I have to defoliate before the flip. I added recharge nutrient this week to help the ladies have a quick recovery. I'm only feeding recharge with a 3 gallon res fill. I usually fill up by at least 6 gallons. What are yalls experiences using recharge?

Ich bin immer noch in der Ernte, kann also noch keine Angabe zum Gewicht machen. Nass wird nicht gewogen. Zu Ernten hab ich angefangen die oberen Türme abzuschneiden, dann die dicken Buds, anschließend alles etwas begradigt und jetzt bin ich gerade dabei einzelne Schichten von etwa 10-20cm Dicke abzutragen, so können die unteren "Popcornbuds" noch auswachsen und abreifen. Sozusagen ein Multi-Monstercrop oder so ähnlich 😂 Vorgestern hab ich einen Tag lang mal die Chemdawg getrimmt, da die dicken Türme dringend geerntet werden mussten. Heute war dann die OG wieder dran. Einen roten Eimer zu trimmen dauert etwa 1,5 - 2 Stunden 😆 Den Verlauf des Monstercrops werde ich dann hier weiter dokumentieren. ----------------------------- Heute wasche ich die erste Ladung Schnittreste. Mit der Waschmaschine arbeite ich das erste mal, also muss ich noch üben. Ich erwarte also noch kein Top Ergebnis, würde mich aber trotzdem drüber freuen. Drückt mir die Daumen 😅 👍

Day 30 Top dressed each 5 gal 444 gia green 1.5 tbsp Kelp meal 1tbsp Super fly insect frass. 1 tbsp .5 tbsp of mykos. 1 Tsp glacial rock dust Feed microbial tea. Day 29 and 30. 24 and 48 brew. Crab meal half cup per 5 gal Alfalfa meal half cup per 5 gal I think some humic granual acid for nutrient uptake. Can’t remember Also spread out red wiggler worms “equally” to each pot. Topped some plants after video. Will update in a few days of response to topping. Day 34 last day of week 4 veg. Set the auto water system up. video update showing the system and each plant. Runt gelato does not have auto water. I’ve got 1 to many pots in my veg tent currently.

Getting close to harvest day

The White Widows are growing bigger and fading out more and more every day! I’m getting anxious for chop because they smell so good! I’m just a bit worried about how faded some leaves are getting, I’m doing my best at removing them because I absolutely do not want to encourage bud rot or WPM! My cousin and I built the worlds SMALLEST Vortex Air Lift Brewer for my nutrients and compost teas. This unit is only 3.5 gallons which is perfect for my setup, as I never need more than a gallon or two for each grow box containing up to four plants. We designed and built this thing in a single day, the only thing that took time was waiting on all of the parts to finish it. Unfortunately the pump needs to be stronger so she’s only running off of one pipe, but on Wednesday a pump twice the size will be coming in to save the day! Things are about to get real good for these upcoming grows 😎😈

Had some major deficiencies pop up but with some help from some top tier growers they were able to get me back on track.

Was a good week. Both phenos have ripened nicely. Both harvested together, being done in the same pot. That's always a plus. Only added LemonPaya and will do Lemonmandrin in a few days. And update on drying of the bud. 9-12 days. The buds are super dense. Temp 19.5-20.5c RH 62-6

Dark spots, bugs and problems in general

Another week in the books and they seem to be maturing fast. Added some sweet candy and bud explosion by Greenleafnutrients @ 1 gram per 4 litres for each. Today I noticed some very small white pests on top of the pot, i only noticed when i watered as thats when they started moving about. Plants seem fine and with only a few weeks to go im not sure if I could or if its worth trying to treat it, guess ill just let the plants tell me....thanks for stopping by....✌️
