5. April Der erhöhte Lichtmenge durch gutes Wetter war deutlich spürbar. Der LED Streifen hat die letzten zwei Wochen leider seine Mission nicht erfüllt, mangelndes Sonnenlicht auszugleichen. Die Pflanze links und rechts habe ich bereits mit Erde stabilisieren müssen. Läuft bisher absolut nicht wie gewünscht, allerdings spielt das Wetter jetzt super mit! Seit zwei Tagen stehen sie nun wieder draußen auf dem Balkon und profitieren deutlich von schönen Wetter! Ich hoffe darauf, dass die Pflanzen bald etwas stabiler werden. Hab auch gemerkt dass die benutzten nematodes leider abgelaufen waren… hab trauermücken in der Kiste. Neue sind unterwegs

Late adding this week. Pics from D36. All looking pretty good at this stage. Top dressed them all last week. Planned 1st compost tea this week. All seem to be stretching but worried they’ve stopped. We’ll see. Thanks for reading have a great week 😊

As usual plain sailing the autopots are such a bonus when it's 28c indoors. This week they have had pH water and Iguana juice Bio. Also they have had two times KNF foliar feed.

Welcome to Week 1 of the Sweet Seeds Gorilla Girl XL Autoflowering grow courtesy of the fine folks at Sweet Seeds! This is the second of three consecutive grows/diaries that I am doing to showcase the tried and tested genetics from this reputable seed breeder. My last grow was a smashing success so I have high hopes for this grow as well. Nothing much to report for Week #1 although I will mention that the first watering was only 0.7 of a litre per plant (0.18 of a litre per plant per day) and the second was 1.4 litres per plant (0.35 of a litre per plant per day). I am watering on my usual schedule of every fourth day as this seems to be the sweet spot throughout past grows. I am using the usual- air bubbled tap water that is PH’d to around 6.0 and if need be (over the winter months in Canada) warmed to 68-70 degrees prior to hand watering with a small watering can. The seedling that lost one of it’s cotyledon leaves is fine but still a little smaller than her sisters. So now on to Mom’s tip of the week… Mom’s Tip for Week #1 is- YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR- QUALITY IS KEY!… When considering growing Cannabis, even on a small scale, quality is an important factor in all aspects from the seeds to set up to the supplies used throughout the grow. Starting with seeds from a established breeder will raise the odds considerably in your favour for a successful outcome. Many seed companies are more than willing to ship out freebies while building up their brands which seems attractive to new growers- but use at your own risk! There’s nothing worse than being halfway through a grow and discovering male flowers tucked in amongst the lowest branches or realizing that your beautiful buds have been mysteriously pollinated just weeks before harvest. I know that seeds from a reputable seed breeder are usually more expensive and can be hard to access in certain parts of the world. But purchasing quality seeds from a reputable seed company is the first step towards homegrown Cannabis success. An area that new growers often overlook due to the high price is the quality of crucial components in their set up- including tent, lights, and intake/exhaust fans. Anyone can get away with cheaper pots, oscillating corner fans, water pumps for dechlorination, etc but it’s worth every penny investing into the workhorses of your entire operation. An initial investment of around two thousand dollars will provide serious growers with the longevity and hassle free basics needed. If done right, quality components will pay for themselves within the first 6-12 months of use and continue to serve your needs for 3-5 years to come. Supplies used throughout the grow are the final area where quality is important but somewhat subjective too. Although I’ve already stated that I don’t feel the need to spend big dollars on all the extras (pots, oscillating fans, water pumps for dechlorination, PH/moisture meters, etc- I do believe in doing my homework to make sure that I’m getting the best bang for my buck. I thoroughly research every item purchased and used in my grows by reading customer reviews, speaking with other growers and sometimes even trial and error at my own expense. Making quality an important factor in all aspects of Cannabis cultivation will benefit you, your grows and the planet we live on. 🌳🌎🌳

With our RainBow Sherbet we are about a week late compared to the others, it is now starting to throw out the first hairs that reveal the sex, this is probably the plant where the main lining has been applied in a more effective way. If you look at it, the plant has a main structure that is a perfect T, this forms the main line of growth. From here the branches start up to the third internode where I topped again. On the laterals no topping except at the two ends of the main lining. It is really very beautiful to look at and practically flattened to perfection on the ground. With autoflowering plants, topping at the second internode is advisable as I did on this plant because it is easier to keep it low and perpendicular to the ground with the main lining and above all because flowering is anticipated as much as possible. Let's say that the plant starts to flower at the 5th internode, you understand well that cutting at the second instead of the third also saves time. It is a plant that has a long internodal distance so we have more time to shape it before the woodification and it is very suitable for late lst interventions. Another one is growing straight and is still small but I will show it to you soon, I have concentrated a lot on this one in main - lining. We will not see the super productive trees of the autumn harvest but I am willing to bet that we will have a lot of beauty and a lot of resin in beautiful bush-sized plants. Wait for the uncle BreadandBuds.... We are still using soil, feeding and all the recommended additives from Plagron 100% organic. We have moved on to the flowering start card that maintains the same Power Roots additives - Sugar Royal, Pure Zym and adds the flowering stimulant dear in my house for obvious reasons of Biscotti. Of course the basic fertilizer now is Alga Bloom. The Green Sensation when the flowers are already a little swollen, do not start immediately. Lovely ladies. My girlfriend is sexy but d@mn. With the trellis as the starting point, the older headband and mangos were way ahead of everything else. The Skywalker did and still does have the thickest trunk and was the tallest of all the new strains. In the last week the Bruce passed everybody else by in height. We will see what this all means but ijs😁. The purp has had the most overall growth in the last week. It was shaping up to b short but had a growth spurt and is now in the top 3. I don't mean to write a book but what can I say. Just got my gelato og and amnesia haze seeds jit to make the next run. I intended on tryin 4 strains and sum kinda way ended up confused with 9...D@mn u Jessica from seedsman all I asked for was 1 replacement lol...o welp good problems😀

Dosidos has grown a lot this week 👍 and is already showing some pistils (i saw yesterday) so good times are coming! happy growing for all✊

Dusted roots with Tryfecta Myco Supreme (FoxFarms) and transplanted to 5 gallon pot w/ProMix HP. Temp: 75º RH: 78% + PPFD: 300 Day 4: 5-10ml ph 6.2 water feed. Temp: 75º RH: 75% + PPFD: 300 Day 5: Showing second set of leaves. Temp: 75º RH: 75% PPFD: 300 Day 6: Temp 75º RH: 75% PPFD: 300 VPD .42 KPa Day 7: Temp 75º RH: 72% PPFD: 300 VPD: .42 KPa The Do-Si-Dos like the rest are showing some small signs of over watering. Notice the slight yellowing around the leaf edges indicating wet feet. Will continue to mist spray a few times a day for the next week with no additional water added to soil. Hopefully we can get this corrected quickly.

They're really starting to bush out, I think I'm liking the topping of all tops on the whole plant 1 time. Makes it easy to train as well. We'll see how they compare in harvest amount to my LST long veg plants.

Deep Forest Auto is growing great. She has started to show her first pistils for flowering. She should be doing a lot of stretching in the next few weeks. She git some defoliation and lst today. Everything is ready to go monster size. This week was a battle...lost power for 3 days in the beginning of the week. N the humidity was a 96% with cold temps in 67°...once the power came on made some adjustments. Didn't water them for5 days . Removed all clovers n alfalfa. Removed all fan leaves affected by the high humidity. And cleaned up the area abit...the temp n humidity are now at a steady 74° n humidity at 47%..they healed up nice . And watered them and they began to bloom some more...I harvested the super skunks autos as they wer just about done. N good timing too. Helped reduce humidity in the tent....they are currently drying n will update on how well the harvest went.. n for these blueberry 420 they still need more time. Will update on how they finish up

Esta es la última semana de crecimiento que le doy a las pequeñas, el último día antes de hacer el cambio de horas de luz le hago una pequeña poda de bajos ya que eso le dará más aire a la zona baja y más fuerza a la parte superior de nuestras plantas. En esta semana terminamos con una Ec de 1.6 y un ph de 5.8. Están creciendo muy rápido y con fuerza en los tallos. Los tamaños de las pequeñas son: las red hot cookies 24 y 34 cm, las tropicanas 27 y 37 cm y la purple puch og 24 cm.
