We're beyond excited to try out this new MarsHydro LED for our latest grow, the SP-3000 is INCREDIBLY bright!! ..I have never seen a light more appropriate for a 4x2 tent in my life, we (happily) replaced 3 "600 watt" blurple LEDs with this single rig ( something we've wanted for a very long time). There should be no issue achieving perfect coverage, corner to corner with this light. Its been years since we've flowered under LED ( and never one of this quality), we're a little bias towards HID/CMH, especially my hubby but I think this might just be the LED that changes our mind! We'll be growing Gelat OG Auto by Seedsman (we've heard amazing things) for our first grow under the SP-3000, all plants in 5gl fabric pots, Promix-B (25% perlite) on a 20/4hr cycle. We're starting with 4 plants but if they become unmanageable, we'll move one or 2 of the plants to another tent. We use a glass of water and a paper towel as our germination method. We soak seeds roughly 24hrs and then in a wet paper towel for another 12-24hrs, we average roughly a 90% success rate doing it this way... She was a great girl all the way around. tired new Genetics and was not disappointed. Would grow her again. She smells super sweet and yielded pretty well. Stoked on her 👌🏻

2.17.2024: End of week 3. Plant is heathy and doing well. Pistils are showing and def in the preflower stage. Would wager there will be noticeable bud development at the end of this week. Still no nutes given although i would have to imagine its getting to be that time. No defoliation yet, only slight LST to the bottom branches. 2.18.2024: Start of week four from seed. Holding course. 2.19.2024: Day 31 from seed. Plant is drinking more. Gave 64oz at 6.4ph. Run off ppm was 1450 at 6.6ph. Essentially 4 full weeks from seed before i need to start feeding. Next watering will contain nutrients. 2.20.2024: Plant is doing its thing. Firmly in the preflower/early flower stage. Growing 1/2 to 1 inch a day it seems like. Still can't bring myself to do any defoliation. 2.21.2024: Day 33 from seed, 29 from sprout. Picked up the pot this morning and it was very lite so i gave it another 64oz at 6.3ph. No run off this time which tells me they are starting to need more water or i need to up the frequency. Still no nutes in 33 days! The branches of the top 2 large fan leaves this morning were sagging a bit with a touch of purple on the stems. Chalking that up to water but will monitor as we progress. 2.22.2024: Besides white tips on top growth, steady as she goes. I'll post a pic of the white tips. No idea how to solve. Plant is totally in flower but since we're almost at the end of week 5 from seed, i'll keep the diary in "flower." 14.5 inches from soil to top. Would love to see these get to 24 inches by the end. 2.23.2024: Upped water to 96oz at 6.4ph. About 2 cups of run off at 6.4ph and 1500ppm. Original soil still has nutes to offer at day 35 from seed.

Surprising growth, they are showing Mg deficiency but I don't know if it's the dysregulated ph that I'm not following. Flowers are everywhere and the LST is helping to distribute space. The plant that underwent TOP pruning had less growth.

9/19 tied up some of the drooping branches on the bottom that have fallen from their own mass/weight. Shes been smelling so so awesome this whole time. Each day more frost, resin and trichomes cover the buds 9/22 looked at trichomes through magnifier. They're magnificently long with big heads. Not very many amber heads though. Like maybe 30% clear, 60% cloudy and 10% amber. Thats just a rough guesstimate, I may change that ratio later

Atleast these girls have some visible trichs and smell pretty good too. I will give them some Bio bloom from greenhouse feeding later today and hopefully it will make them even better. Hi meine lieben, 🤗 Die 2. Woche der Wachstums-Phase steht an... ...und die realität schlägt zu. Hatte versucht diesen Run mit einem höheren VPD-Wert und dadurch ohne zusätzliches CalMag hinzufügen zumüssen, laufen zulassen. Da laut einer Studie, man durch einen erhöhten VPD, kein zusätzliches CalMag unter LED's hinzugefügt werden müsste. Allerdings gieße ich noch mit Leitungswasser. Also hatte ich mir mal die werte meiner Stadtwerke angeschaut. Und in meinem Wasser habe ich Calcium = 78 mg/l und Magnesium = 5,3 mg/l und somit ein verhältnis von 14:1😰. Was von einer Optimalen versorgung von 2:1 - 4:1 CalMag etwas entfernt ist... 😅 Beste Lösung wäre ein Filtersystem wie der Watertrim zu nutzen. Before diving into the details, let’s start with a note on my flowering timeline. While this is Week 4, I don’t start counting flower days the moment I flip to 12/12. Instead, I wait for the plants to show true signs of bloom. It’s a small but significant distinction that keeps things accurate and aligned with the plants’ development. 🌱 Defoliation: Timing is Everything! Defoliation is a critical part of the flowering stage, and I typically wait until Day 21. However, this week, I tackled it earlier on Day 17 because: 1️⃣ The room was simply too full. 2️⃣ And most importantly—the Papaya Zoap had other plans! She’s a fighter—determined, defiant, and constantly reaching for the moon. Despite intense training like super cropping, she’s still pushing upward, nearly outpacing the LED lights. Challenges like this remind us of a simple truth: gardening mirrors life. It’s about resilience, adaptation, and unwavering determination. 💪 This week, I added a second SCROG layer. While this net will support the flowering colas, it’s also there to strategically manage the Papaya Zoap. Why? Because experience has taught me that if she grows out of the LED’s range, she won’t finish properly—and that could disrupt the balance for every other plant in the tent. It’s all about teamwork, even in the garden. 🌟 Defoliation was intense, removing nearly all the leaves with stems to clear space and boost airflow. The tent now looks dramatically different! Well I’m pretty excited about this being my first auto grow. These things are really doing awesome I’m pretty impressed I don’t have any experience with them but I feel like they’re all pretty big for their size all of them are really starting to stack up bud. One of the jacks seems to be a few days behind the others in the flowering process. The jacks are both a lot Bashir and flatter the bubblegum and OG a really stretching out nice I love that shape of plant. Soil pH and everything keeps testing good no big issue so far I think one of the plants may have had some small nutrient lockout last week but I flushed it out good. I’ll update this week again soon or maybe not I don’t know thanks for stopping bye be safe ✌️.

08/10 - 10l nute water top up, then I noticed her leaves had some spotting which identified as nitrogen toxicity. Dumped the res, ran clean ph water for a couple hours, dumped that res and then refilled at 32% strength. 25ml Micro, 4ml Grow, 35ml Bloom. Will see how she does. 09/10 - PH bumped to 5.8. 10/10 - PH has been plummiting, but I think my pens busted. Ordered a new one next day. Topped off with 8l of water at 40%. 11/10 - PH pen was indeed busted. New one just arrived and PH was around 4.7. I've now bumped it back up to 5.8. 13/10 - Full Res Change. Ran ph water for 3h to try and flush some N before adding 25ml Micro, 5ml Grow, 40ml Bloom. PH at 5.75, EC at 1.15. Some leaves at the top of the canopy are dying off due to the Nitrogen tox causing Cal lockout which is unfortunate, but hopefully she gets back on track with the nutes dropped back somewhat. Shes still growing, now at 11" from the light, and the buds are fattening up decently. 14/10 - Ph and EC stable! Debating a W6 flower defol.

This device is simply amazing, as it has allowed me to monitor the environments I use it in accurately and efficiently. One of the most impressive features of this device is its ability to operate LED lights easily and intuitively. Thanks to its user-friendly interface, I could easily customize the lighting of my rooms according to my tastes and different situations. I particularly appreciated the possibility of programming the sunrise/sunset simulation, thus creating a more natural situation.But that's not all: the device goes further and manages to keep me constantly informed about the humidity and temperature of the surrounding environment. This feature has proven to be very useful, especially in times when I am not present. I was able to set humidity limits, so that the device would immediately alert me if the levels exceeded the desired threshold. This allowed me to intervene promptly and avoid excessive oscillations. The accuracy of the temperature measurements was another welcome surprise. The device is equipped with a high precision sensor that allows me to constantly monitor the temperature of the rooms.
