2020-08-24 Chop chop chop. I DID NOT FLUSH! I read a lot of guides and some scientific data and I wanted to see if I could detect an issue with non-flushed cannabis. We'll find out! After seeing that the trichomes were not going to turn amber (all milky for many days) I did a bit of research and found that some people say WW doesn't produce amber trichomes until week 13-14. I have been monitoring to decide when to cut the plant. I noticed that there was some foxtails developing. The grow was messed up because the plant stretched so much. This created different lighting strength areas so some parts developed faster than others. Everything right under the light was definitely ready for harvest. I have done a bit of a wet trim and hung everything up at 74F and 55% relative humidity. Took a pic of the 8 main colas that I setup from the beginning with my mainlining technique from Nebula. Definitely way messier than I intended (need to lollipop way higher in the future) but those buds are pretty giganticccccccccccccccc 2020-08-26 It is now smelling fairly grassy as the chlorophyll breaks down. Everything going as expected. I was kind of worried by the smell because it was very earthy, now very grassy. The air coming out of the tent smells like fresh cut grass but if you actually touch/squeeze the buds with your hands, it EXPLODES with citrus smells, far more so than when it was still alive. No signs of mould or mildew. I bleached the tent right before hanging so hopefully no infections. I will post the harvest report later on!

Cal-Mag Deficiency Adjustment – Pheno #5’s Special Needs This week started with a close inspection of our phenos, and we noticed that Pheno #5 was showing early signs of a calcium/magnesium deficiency. Whether it was slightly off VPD levels or this particular plant being more demanding, we decided to correct it by increasing the dose of RO Water Conditioner. Now, while this isn’t a direct substitute for Cal-Mag, it does contain trace amounts that can help stabilize the situation. 🔬 Understanding Cal-Mag Deficiency: Calcium and magnesium are essential secondary nutrients. Calcium strengthens cell walls, preventing issues like tip burn and weak stems, while magnesium plays a critical role in chlorophyll production, allowing plants to efficiently absorb light energy. 💡 Signs of Deficiency: • Yellowing between veins (Magnesium) • Rust spots on leaves (Calcium) • Slow growth and weak stems ⚡ How We Address It: • Slightly increasing RO Water Conditioner to see if trace minerals help • Keeping an eye on overall nutrient uptake to ensure no lockout • Monitoring VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) closely to optimize nutrient absorption Let’s see how she reacts next week! Branching Development – Pheno #2 Leading the Race All five phenos are thriving, but Pheno #2 is showing the most aggressive branching, pushing outward faster than her sisters. However, overall, we’re seeing very uniform growth, which speaks volumes about the stability of these genetics. 🌱 What is Branching & Why It Matters? Branching is the plant’s way of expanding its canopy, increasing surface area for photosynthesis, and maximizing potential bud sites. Hello m8 welcome to this journey with me in this diary will have very interesting strains hope u find something useful Persian Girl 🏝️🧞‍♀️ - [ ] 1st week Veg: germinated in substrate lighting very close so it jets medium high humidity after the 3rd day they started sprouting - [ ] 2nd week Veg: this week my ventilator broke down and as the temperature stayed very warm nothing developed much - [ ] 3rd week Veg:fortunately this week i had fixed the ventilation and the temperature has go down a bit allowing the little plants to develop and reinforce - [ ] 4th week:very good developments in this week I already started feeding a bit two times but i didn’t have to…once was enough - [ ] 5th week Veg:this week they were very strong green i only had to water them good and keep the ventilators going no stop .They have good hight already ,but as i have to strains together. Day22: As said in Week3, I will not keep this perspective for the whole grow, as it doesn't really show the size of the plant. But it gives a nice view of how to top leaves grow :) The flashes that you see in the video is the humidifier. It pumps out vapour every hour for 15mins. So basically a quarter of each second of the video will be when the humidifier runs. Day23: I changed it, as I wanted to see the size as well. Day24 - Day28: Happy, healthy growth.
