Nothing much to report apart from the buds are filling out, there are bud sites all over the plant so if they all manage to fill out well its going to be quite a crop! Watering about twice a week, other than the slightest leaf tip burn this plant is showing no bad signs. Smell is subtle but the buds are starting to get sticky now.

Thanks to the folks on here for the tips on HST to deal with the vigorous growth and the plant tops getting too close to the light! Watched a couple of YT vidz that explained it well and the HST I did to bend the stems away from the light so i could use the SCROG net worked well and the bendy stems firmed back up in no time. Very subtle smell so far, the leaves I'm pruning from the base of the plant smell great when ripped apart between the fingers. I might stick to Autos for subsequent grows as I just don't have the tent space to deal with tall Photo-period plants. Watering/Feeding about twice a week, growing really well and really strong plants.

I pre-cut a plant. The plant, whose leaves turned yellow, turned yellow due to heat and flushing. Last 3-4 days left. Other 2 pots need at least 10 days

This lady is slowly starting to stretch with short internodes. The grasshoppers are doing the defoliation for me. It's always been sunny for a month, not a cloud on the horizon.😎☀️☀️

Aug 3: woohoo week two of flowering. Plant is definitely flowering and looks to be on its way to a strong finish. Very excited for this one and it looks very promising. Group pic is Cheese in front, Gelato, Gorilla Cookies, and Bruce Banner. Last two are 16 cola manifolds, and the front two are 8 colas. Aug 5: video shows use of 730 nm far red light as a bloom booster. A few seconds at dusk is all it takes. I use Civil Twilight as listed on timeanddate.com for my latitude each night. Currently getting 2 minutes earlier each night. The far red light at dusk, at the same point in the light cycle each night, causes the plant to go into dark mode about two hours faster. It’s like getting an extra two hours of darkness in a 26 h day. Works indoors and on autos too. Moves up flowering by about 3-4 weeks here. Don’t miss a night and keep it at the same relative time each night. This is sometimes called phyto-forcing. Easier than moving the plants into the garage each night. Aug 6: foliar spray of potassium silicate and Extreme Blend done in early evening. Plants drink a lot when it is hot and they’re this big and have been watering twice a day lately. Aug 7: did another round of compost tea this morning. Aug 9: defoliated the understory to improve airflow and remove shaded bits. Mostly fan leaves and popcorn bud sites with a few small branches that were growing in towards the centre.

8/5/2023 - Day 32 Veg: This is officially the start to week 5. She has been in the earthbox for one week now and I can definitely tell the difference. She has finally started to pick up speed, and it looks like she has grown out of the minor deficiencies I started to notice last week. It was nothing too serious, but the leaf in between the veins was looking a bit light. The foiler feed and compost tea seems to have helped. I'm sure the larger bed of soil is helping too. So far she seems to be looking more indica leaning, with the fatter leaves and she's a little squatty, so I haven't had to do any training yet. I will still probably top her at least once, but I haven't decided yet. 8/9/2023 - Day 35 Veg: did a light watering today with plane water at a ph of 6. 8/10/2023 - Decided to top her today

Another good week generally speaking. The girls are drinking a lot but nothing crazy. Things are wrapping up here in this tent shortly. This girl is almost done. She's finishing up over this week and will see how she goes. Some smell from her but not that fat. I know she needed nutrients but didn't get much. I hope she does well as she finishes up. Not much longer! ⭐️⭐️🌲WEEK 4 FLOWER🌲⭐️⭐️ Nutrient Line This Week (all nutrients are mixed direct to reservoir in this order) Front Row AG Part A 3.1g per gallon Front Row AG Part B 2.1g per gallon Front Row AG Phoszyme .4g per gallon Front Row AG Bloom 2.4g per gallon Front Row AG CleanUp .2g per gallon I am not sponsored by Front Row AG or any company for that matter. I simply use the products I’ve come to like and use techniques I’ve come to know work well. Temp 82/ humidity 55-60%/ leaf temp 80 CO2 1500ppm/ PAR 1400/ VPD 1.4 I’ve been using a higher temp higher humidity during flower for a few years now. The plants seem to love it. They are absolutely sucking down CO2 right now. Last week of veg/beginning of flower a 20lb tank lasted 10 days. Now I use 2 in 10 days. You can literally watch them grow by the day at this stage. Plants are fed with drip tubes for 90 seconds 15 minutes after lights on and for 40 seconds 3 hours before lights off. So far very few mistakes have been made and the new Front Row AG nutrients are very very good. If anyone has any questions don’t hesitate to ask. See you next week.
