Cant take my eyes off my plant. This is my second round of growing and I am the type of person who learns through failure (not gonna upload the pics of the first round plants lol). The buds are thickening up very nicely. Hoping to get between 3-4oz , the strain is high yielding but I have a smaller tent. My auto yielded 2oz with the same space (2 plants in one tent splitting the space), but the buds definitely didn't develop as well as these buds.

Potted up from 5L fabric pots to 10L air pots. I got these air pots because they are tall and narrow which helps disperse the water laterally (I also use Yucca and Silica additives), it's important because I use the auto watering halos.

Auto Opium has had a rough first week. The neem oil treatment was pretty tough on the seedling. She has started growing since sprayed. There is a mite issue and once I get the flowering plant out if the room I can treat them all. Eliminating anywhere for the pest to hid. So until then just making due the best we can for about a week. 3/25/2023 Week 6- Day 1 of Veg (Day 52 overall) Added my first between changes SILICA Top offs. Was worried that when you add it to pre mixed Nutes that it can make the whole thing turn into a gummy looking substance. I was ready to drain the system and start it over for the week if needed, but no issues adding it to the tank. the Silica going into the Res didn't gummy the system up, it did drop my PH by quit a bit causing me to have to bring it back in balance. 36 Gallons in the Tank Silica Add .5mil/Gal = 18Mil I topped some that needed to be topped, I defoliated some that needs to be defoliated. Since I have moved into Week 6 I have increased the light intensity up to just over 500 maxing it out for Veg Cycle. Next increase will be Week 1 of Flower. 3/26/2023 Week 6- Day 2 of Veg (Day 53 overall) All conditions looked great. Other than me not putting one of the humidifiers back right which means it didn't work last night so Humidity was lower than I like. But got the Humidifier back on it's stand correctly and it is now pumping away. With that I decided to give the plants a day off from any stresses, no topping, no FIMing, no Defoliation for today. Just some good old soaking up the light rays and the ability to get all the Nutes they would like.. 3/27/2023 Week 6- Day 3 of Veg (Day 54 overall) Looking kind of Bushy today, so I defoliated some, and topped some. 3/28/2023 Week 6- Day 4 of Veg (Day 55 overall) PH was a little lower than I like 5.74 so I added a few Mil of PH UP and brought it back up to 5.94. Not much else at this stage, just I topped a little and I defoliated a little. 3/29/2023 Week 6- Day 5 of Veg (Day 56 overall) Topped a little, Defoliated a little Watched them grow!! 3/30/2023 Week 6- Day 6 of Veg (Day 57 Overall) Main action today was breaking down my old tent and setting up a new tent and getting my second RDWC system setup and ready for clones. I Topped a little, I Defoliated some and started taking a good look at what I would like to take for clones in the coming days. 16/5/22: Week 3: VD15 for both. AN stands a little taller. But she comes of enzymes and TP goes on them this week, following their guidelines as far as when to give them the nutrients but I'm far of giving their recommend dose. 15.5 CM for AN GROW & 14cm for TP GROW. Both have been put into the 150x150x220 homebox and I have my 70x70x160 inside my big tent, this will allow me to keep the RH high in that tent while the photos veg and autos will be in full bloom. 17/5/22 both girls were topped above the 5th node. 18/5/22 Figuring out how VPD works. You could read for hours about this stuff and still not dial it in for years. But here's the basics. VPD 0.4-0.8 kpa for early seedling. So under or around 23c and around 50-60 RH. atm my VPD is 1.05kpa and for most of my plants the optimal range is .8-1.1 kpa. Temp is 80 F 25C and RH is 70%. To find the perfect VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit)check out optimal ranges of VPD for growing stages, also your strain should have the optimal VPD. I don't have an infrared temp to check the LVPD (Leaf Vapor Pressure Deficit) that's a whole other ball game. Im not going to get too boged down at the moment with VPD&kpa. As I said that's in a whole other league. Im going to run a basic VPD environment though. In heavy flower my temp will defo be in the 26-28 range as I'll have the 20L dehuimifier in my 5x5x7. 22/5/22 Solid growth coming from these 2 ladies. 15+ cm growth in a week is great. Hopefully I'll get another 4-7 days of growth before they start flowering.

For the past month, the humidifier has been an issue putting out way too much humidity; often leaving water in the bottom of the tent. In addition, the temperatures are also out of control. I added an AC last week to keep the temperature below 80. I finally determined the exhaust vent is also broken and has been for some time. AC Infinity does not extend the warranty to the replacement parts. I guess that makes sense since they would be in a state of perpetual free replacements. I bought a new one from Amazon that came with a new controller which is different from the controller 69 currently using. I decided that while it is very inconvenient and inefficient to monitor the tent through the day, I would rather finish this Frostbanger run without introducing a new unknown variable. I will continue using 3 circulating fans, the 4” exhaust vent from my 3x3. I have the AC pushing air in and the exhaust pulling air out. This creates a neutral pressure tent environment-neither positive nor negative. It looks like growth has stopped and plant height has been reached. Now is the time for buds to fatten and frost up. All 6 of them are short remaining less than 3 ft. They range from 15 to 31 inches. #4, 5 &6 are showing some fade, particularly #4. Upon opening the tent, a melon smell comes off the buds if I get close, and more stickiness was observed during the process of defoliation. They are living up to the new strain’s name. #5 is the frostiest followed by #2. Wow week 3 of flower and that much frost already.
