09/21/2018 Week 6 day 1 Lots of new pistils Popping out everywhere 3-4 weeks out i think? From harvesting.

This is a great strain from a great seed company in Canada, 34 street seeds. I have had great results from germination to harvest with their strains and these Cookies are no different. Nice tight nugs, some great tasting hard hitting smoke 💨 They grew easily enough, no disease or weirdness that couldn’t be solved by proper NPK. This would be a great strain for beginners looking for an easy harvest, with some good bud to show. I definitely did not maximize the potential of this strain this go around, but I still have 2 seeds from the 5 and it will make it back to my garden again. ❤️🇨🇦😎💨

The HOLY GRAIL is fantastic 3 weeks to go and the buds are already gigantic i can't wait to see how they will be at harvest time. She demands a lot of water, the smell that is starting to popping out is amazing. I have to think some way to sustain those buds because they will be heavy, any suggestion? beside the trellis net cause i have to put the pot outside the box to water.

Day 8 - First official day of veg and both ladies are right on time for a small adjustment in lighting, PH and nutrients. 10ml of Hydro A & Hydro B were added to both buckets (10L of water in each bucket) and the Milwaukee PH controller was set to work. Starting at a PH of around 7.8, it slowly worked down to a perfect 6.0 over about 50minutes. The lights were readjusted to be 60cm from the seedlings who are all between 8-10cm tall and the intensity of the lights increased to about 70% brightness. Day 9 - Cheech is taking nicely to the adjustment in light and nutrients, but CG 1 is looking a little bit too perky. Going to give her 24 hours to adjust. Day 10 - We have finally renamed CG 1. Fellow enthusiasts, meet Venezia. Day 12 - The root systems are clearly visible in the ladies today Day 13 - The ladies are looking well today. Venezia seems to be showing some light signs of heat stress with slight curling of the leaves. The lights are due to be adjusted tomorrow to account for the seedlings growth over the last week.

So far all is well. Left plant is looking great still. Right plant is still the same as it was, kinda "off." I cut the top off the main cola due to light burn. There's just no way that the plants energy it was directing to it was being used well. I'd rather it go to the rest of the plant because there's just no way that initial top was going to produce anything. It was gnarled. I've also noticed something odd going on with a couple of the buds on the stressed (purple) plant. I posted one of the pics in the pics for this weeks update. Looks kinda like bud rot to me but this is also my first grow so I could be wrong. It looks like it's only affecting the pistils. I may ask a question in the question forum just to be sure. It's odd though because conditions in the tent seem to be too dry maybe for bud rot (averaging in the 50-60% RH range and there is plenty of air circulation in that part of the tent. I'm thinking it could either be the plant negatively reacting to me cutting the main top off the other day or it's just the fact that due to the plant being stressed out for the entire grow that it's lost resistance to things like bud rot, etc.. essentially, I'm not sure at all lol.. Both plants are already showing a good amount of trichome production as the plants have almost switched from stretch flowering phase to pure on flowering/bulking phase. I can't wait to see the buds really start to mature and grow and get stinky. Carbon filter so far is working flawlessly. A week ago I was thinking it wasn't keeping up because when I'd come home from work I could smell pot but it turns out it was just my cannabutter supplies that I left out lol. D'oh. I've also been monitoring conditions in my basement over the past few weeks and have noticed that rain or no rain, the conditions down there are an average 66 degrees and 60-64% RH. With my dehumidifier if the conditions down there remain in that range, I should be able to achieve perfectly optimal drying conditions for when I harvest in 4-6 weeks or so. :) I am having a blast so far and can't wait to harvest and then really apply what I've learned online from youtube, here and reddit combined with my hands on experience from this grow to really fill out the canopy next time and also ensure both plants are the same height for some great yield. I'll probably mainline 2-3 plants for my next grow. I also want to eventually get into building my own soil and amendments but for now I'm just focusing on not learning & applying too many things at once. I just know that at some time I'd like to switch from synthetic nutrients to organic. I'm hooked for life to growing though!

Grew really well. As I said topped early on during veg. And trained her with LST the wk before flipping and adjusted during. Defoliation was done as a move node training tool, aswel as crop steering "water starvation" to make the plant produce bigger buds from her own steam. With heavy airflow through the grow it make for a real strong girl that loved life right till the end and produced close to 2oz of dried bud. Trimming was an ease. Very sticky and fruity while trimming. Notes of pineapple and an earthy scent, (like a wooden forest). Very fruity as I said with notes of citrus also but overwhelming blueberry scent that has dominated her scent after 2 weeks curing. Was burped 2x a day 1st week . And now its done once a day. Blueberries are so lush and ripe it's like holding a handful of fresh picked fruit.

Our Test #3 has already made me fall in love. It is one of those plants that is doing well I would already promote it but to avoid the risk of speaking too soon, let's see what grass it will give us. For each strain we have at least two plants there is also a specimen that is growing straight that you don't see in the photo for now for each strain of her I have two both excellent. The plant that you see in the photo responded excellently to topping from the beginning and did not suffer the stress that this technique brings the fertilizers for flowering that go from a few days after I made the switch to mid-week (it is therefore considered vegetative the plant is still understanding that it is going to flower). I find myself very well when it comes to flowering with Palgron in vegetative I have some difficulty I have to ask the experts for advice on how to prepare the soil with their products. I think I will use Bat Mix or Super Mix next time or the excellent pellet from Zamnesia going to integrate Alga grow if necessary. We did our best Zamnesia has put superb genetics and at home B&B we are working to show you the plants in all their possible meanings. This plant like all the other photoperiodic ones has been worked with a topping x16 buds, simply repeating the topping technique without doing anything else than cleaning the leaves from time to time and now the branches that I believe do not give me good flowers at the bottom. The 16 buds are perfectly aligned and it is very regular in growth. The fertilizers for flowering have helped us to return in a very short time to a good balance now we go straight to making great buds. We are still using soil, fertilizers and all the additives recommended by Plagron 100% organic. The plant has been flowering for 3 days, in the diary I leave it indicated as the last week of vegetative but we move on to the fertilizers for flowering. We have now moved on to the early flowering program that keeps the same additives Power Roots, Sugar Royal, Pure Zym and adds the flowering stimulant Power Buds. Now the basic fertilizer is now Alga Bloom with which I get along very very well even more than Alga Grow that sometimes I have to understand well how to dose in some particular cases ( topping). Probably try to prepare the soil with Plagron Super Mix or with the Zamnesia Pellet. Topped this girl this week, she’s growing pretty good. Very nice looking plant to my eye.

Very good journey to me, she has responded very well to the lst training, providing me beautiful colas, enough for me to have nice clean organic nuggets to smoke. I would definitely would run this Ak420 by seedstockers again, the sweetest phenotype was the number #2 which you can take a look at here in my page!

We had approx 4 inches (10 cm) of rain this past week which is a lot for this area. Soil has a lot of moisture but not too wet. Excellent growth in veg stretching a fair bit and starting to show signs of early flower development. Preflowers have a bit of resin: smells quite skunky and a bit like burned rubber, or mercaptans/thiols. Need some sun and heat.

One of the bigger ones is definitely taking over in size a bit. But still two obvious phenos as far as size. Topped the small ones for shits and giggles Turned light back down to 40% to encourage a bit of stretch possibly Grow under the MEDICGROW Smart-8 760W beast here. Removed the last lower leaves for good lighting, thereby redirecting energy to flowering, gave a finishing form to the bush at the beginning of the week, no more LST) began to pour water with low temperature to create an atmosphere of cold autumn, well, the harvest is near, we are waiting for 8 weeks!

Alot of trial and error on this gal and shes fast to spring back, resilient to a lot-- hot res temps, training, etc. beautiful plant and genetics!
