Hi everyone 🤗 This week the Orange Sherbert Phenotype # 1 and the Zkittlez Phenotype # 2 were harvested :-) Now the Victory Kush 1 - 3, Zkittlez 1 - 2 and Orange Sherbert 1 are ready to dry. I guess I first have to extend a big thank you to James and the folks at RQS. The genetics of their “Northern Light” did not disappoint and this was a no fuss grow across all categories. This will be the only time you hear me refer to Northern Lights in the singular. It’s kinda like calling a “pickerel” a “walleye” - you just don’t do that up here😉. She took well to training, showed no signs of lockout or deficiency, and we were at the top limits of botanicare’s recommended feeding schedule the whole time. I’d call this typical NL - the scent wasn’t overly powerful, she grew somewhat squat and while I’m actually very surprised at the final weigh (thought it would be much less), the whole grow was typical of the strain in my experience. Possibly her biggest limiting factor was simply space constraints. The photos pretty obviously demonstrate that she got really crowded out by the neighbouring kush and I wouldn’t be surprised at all if she’d have done a little better with some more room. That said, what isn’t “typical” are the effects. RQS touts this as a cup winner and I can see why. Had the opportunity to sample a little and WHOA! She Hits with a lasting, cerebral and euphoric effect that starts as a light, happy high. Not a crippling or dulling effect at all. Just everything you’d expect from a well rounded strain in general. Perfect. I almost wanna describe it as a classic sativa but I’ve been smoking nothing but a pure indica for so many months now that anything different is gonna feel that way 😂. Thank Christ for some new stash diversity: 1:! Many, many thanks to all those who cared to comment, suggest or converse on this one. It’s been a pleasure hearing from everyone and I did what I could to keep ‘er interesting : 1:. Day 43 this orange is running absolutely faster than the last I did. Every day flowers are getting bigggers and resin is awful to be at 42 days. I’m really loving aptus product, but I really can’t ell what’s is pushing her so fast. Behind, in the video, you can see another auto is a strawberry banana and germinated with just 24 h difference but is starting just now to get into flowering, same soil ‘, same feeding.. incredible Let’s see what s happen

Rather big and greedy plant, doesn't demand a lot of attention. Has shown good reaction to scrog and lst. I've already grown it once, and I'm sure I'll do it again. Seeing burned tips makes me feed it differently, 2 days with fulls set of nutrients, 2 days with Cannazym only. I pruned them a bit more, not sure if it was a good idea but those little branches didn't develop a lot during this time. On day 4 of the week, after HSO's comment on a weekly report, I've measured runoff and it was insane! 3k-5k ppm Flushed them all so that runoff was around 800 ppm, and watered them with Cannazym only (PH around 6.1, EC 440 ppm). Also moved them around a bit Most likely the reason for conductivity going so high was that I removed the pots from platforms at some point and old runoff was probably soaking in.

Growth has really begun to take off! I've been making tweaks to my setup. Got nervous I was getting some light through the bucket so I covered it in aluminum foil to block out the light for a few days while I was getting a lid painted and ready. Painted with two coats black to block any light and then 3 coats of white for reflectivity of light and heat. I have been reading various methods and was torn on whether to top it since it is an autoflower or just let it go. Pulled the trigger and went forward with topping. The growth has been good and she's looking super happy! Any issues related to pH and nutrient deficiencies seem to have resolved themselves.

The little ones are developing well, unfortunately there are a few minor nutrient problems in the direction of Calmag with the Morello Cherries and also slight signs of this with the TerpyZ Punch. I counteracted this with a foliar spray. The pH value of the hydrosystem has unfortunately dropped a little to 5.5, which I have equalised with ph up from Plagron. The plants are currently getting light between 800-900 ppfd and as soon as the stretch starts, l'll increase this to 1000 ppfd. Both ladies are slowly starting to smell.

ITs finally tine to cut the girl . After checking all around for trichomes I’ve decided it was about damn time. She took longer to flush , i keep her in the dark for a good week until i felt like she used up all of her locked down nutes . Just by doing my bud manicuring and trimming i got a good half gramm of resin that turned to delicious fingerhash . The buds show a bit of foxtailing but i really dont mind it , and it doesn’t affect the taste or quality’s of the end product. As you can see lst training gave results. This yield is definitely a good one with amazing results, the smell is really strong but i doesn’t smell like typical weed if i can say so . All around fastbuds genetics goes hand in hand with my set up, a real blast growing this strain
