Week 10

Flowering Day 2: Hope the video shows them well enough. These girls are amazing growers. #1 has gone big with the stretch. i expect her to be the best yield. #2 and 4 are more squat in structure so lean on the indica side i think. #3 is similar in height to 1 but is nowhere near as big. Now the stretch is done i can plan the day 7 defol and strip out of all the small whispy rubbish that will just steal nutes and energy away from the worthy ones. i plan to keep some lower fans without their buds to give extra photosynthesis to assist the others.

Probably not my favourite but it was very resistance. I didn’t like the grow structure, to many leaves, popcornbuds.. but anyways im still very happy 😊

Hi to all my fellow growers, friend and usual visitors. Thank you for dropping by and all the likes and comments....you are the best! I lost a week of updates because of busy life (nothing tragic ;) i will truly focus on catching up this week. So you can count on a new update in three days from today. The girls grow so fast under the excellent Mars Hydro TS 1000 that as of the day the pictures in the diary where taken (19 october) my 60x60 (2'x2") Mars hydro tent is a bit to small for them, so that day the pictures where taken I had to move them to my biger grow room ;) becouse the Blue Cheese was visibly suffering blockage to the TS1000 caused by her bigger Amnesia CBD sister. The powerful Mars Hydro TS 1000 is kept at 30 cm from the top of my plants is is running on full power. Thanks to Mars Hydro for supplying the necessary equipment for this grow.. The start was a little rough for this lady but she bounce back so well and just did her thing, I was really looking for much because it was more about learning for me and I did learn a thing or two but over all this strain is great smoke was smooth, it smell the same as it taste with rich mango flavors.

2018-04-03 Week 14 Day 1 Not much to say, there isn't much drama going on in growroom 2, the only things I do is giving them water and nutes 2 - 3 times/week and making sure that the lamp don't burn the girls. I gave them 4 liters today, and since they live in smartpots I can see when the pot gets wet when watering the girls, but you could hardly notice that. They are getting thirsty 😛 The flowers are developing very good, they look really healthy and their colors are fine. Power Plant XL nr 1 is 67 cm Power Plant XL nr 2 is 66 cm 2018-04-04 Raised the lamp to it’s highest level and turned all girls 1/4 turn, it’s really hard to get in to the ladies in the back, I need to push the girls up against the walls on each side and crawl on the floor to be able to turn them and give them water/nutes. They managed to breed a strain that was soon a popular choice in coffee shops of the Netherlands, most likely due to the soaring and intense Sativa high. Zambeza Seeds thought that the productiveness of Power Plant should never be forgotten and created an updated version, to bring the legend back to live. Power Plant XL yields up to 600-750g/m² in a flowering period of approximately 55 days! The efficiency and productiveness of Power Plant XL fears no comparison with many recently bred cannabis strains. Indoor heights of 80-110cm make this sativa-dominant variety relatively easy to grow, but outdoor growers need to be aware of the power that is being released under the sun. Once you get to this point in the cannabis life cycle, growing is easy. Using the Beanstalk line of nutrients allows me to only use water from beginning to the end of my grows. No mixing nutes, no teas, no anything. I adjust the pH of my water to the 5.8-6.5 range, but I’m not even sure that is necessary. I have never tested using water right out of the tap as it’s almost 9.0, but that would simplify things even further. Experience has taught me to simplify. This goes for all aspects of growing. I used to top and train my plants under a tellis. Then I would spend hours trimming and had jars overflowing with flowers that I was never going to smoke. Now, I go for a month of veg and right into flower. No training, no topping. In addition to allowing a much faster turnover, I can gauge the growth habits of my plants much more effectively. For example, you can see this Shiskaberry plant exhibits significant and abundant lateral branching. Not only that, but those branches are strong enough to support the weight of the flowers they hold. This means that this plant would be an ideal candidate for a ScrOG or LST setup where the goal is a ‘carpet’ of flowers. After running this cultivar several times, I also have an accurate flowering timeline and can approximate stretch to allow users to fit their grow. More on this in the future. For now, enjoy the end of week 5.

It has developed so far and is now slowly starting to develop its flowers :-). As soon as the first forms of buds can be seen (I think in 5-10 days) 2 g GHSC Powder Feeding Bio Bloom per liter of substrate are added. In the third week, 1 g per liter of substrate is added so that it lasts through to the end :-). This week it was poured 3 times with 1 liter each 👍. The entire tent was also cleaned and the electronics checked for functionality. The humidifier was refilled every day and fresh osmosis water was drained into the tank for the coming week ☺️. The plants have all been checked for health and pests 👍. Next week the bamboo sticks are inserted towards the end for support and the lowest shoots are removed so that at the end the energy is not wasted in the lower area 👍. November 6, 2021 They are both still going. The Blackberry is starting to foxtail. I still don't see any amber trichomes and I have not seen the calyx's swell yet. These plants have 2 more weeks max. As soon as the photos are ready to flip to flower, I'm harvesting these autos - ready or not.
