So I'm soo excited to start this journey Firstly!! Will be growing my first FastBuds Auto Strain outdoors 😀😮.. I saw the competition..being a mostly outdoor grower here in South Africa..I just had to join! Soo I started my germination method...Taproot sticking out but not yet long enough 🙃.. Will give it another 24hrs to check on them..or shall I say in another hour 🤔 😂.. .... 6 hours later taproot sprouted successfully .. She went straight into her Jiffy Pellet.. Now gonna wait for her to show her leafs...

Fast Buds has been very kind in extending me the opportunity to try our their new strain C.A. There's not a lot of information out there about this strain yet, other than it is supposed to be indica dominant. No solid leads on the name that I have found. I'd going with a guess of Cali Airlines for now (though I suspect this may be a CBD strain). Put the seed straight into the soil in the final container (3 gal grow bag) on March 3rd. I'll spray the top of the soil once a day until I see the sprout appear. Then I'll let the tap root do its thing and find the water below in the soil. The soil was watered heavily 2 days before planting the seed, then left in the tent to get the soil to temperature. My Perpetual Harvest strategy…. Originally my plan was to start 2 seeds each month, but had some seeds from one breeder that did not germinate early in my rotation. Ultimately, this caused single seeds to pop and messed up my 2 at a time plans. But, that seemed to work out OK, because now I think starting one seed every 3 weeks is a better strategy. This should provide me with 4-5 plants at a time, instead of 6. However… Since Fast Buds has been kind enough to allow me to preview their new CC and CA strains I am now going to be starting a new seed every 2 weeks. This should allow me to get all of the plants I want to grow this season in the perpetual harvest rotation. I need to shut down over the summer because my tent is currently in the attic. Plants get fed once weekly on weekends. Seedlings get water only. Plants in vegetation get water and Recharge. Flowering plants get water, Recharge or Big Bloom (Fox Farm). Feeding is done using 2 gallon watering can. Any additional waterings during the week are given on an as needed basis per plant. I lift the plants to help determine which plants are more dry (lighter) and provide water as needed. I give each pot a quarter turn every day in an effort to make sure the plants get equal lighting from all sides. I rotate the plant in place by turning the pot 90 degrees (I am not rearranging the layout of the plants in the tent on a daily basis). The soil is an ‘organic super soil’ I mixed myself using organic top soil, organic potting soil, organic compost, organic peat moss, organic perlite, organic vermiculite, lime, epsom salt, expanded clay pellets and Jobe’s organic fast start. I am also recycling my soil and water with Recharge when using recycled soil. For plant training I have tried a variety of things, but my plans now are to do LST bending only, no HST anymore. I may decide to go back to HST again in the future, but I’m curious to compare LST training only to see how that goes. Around 3 week I'll do a FIM cut/pinch once there are 4-5 nodes established. And some defoliation around the 3rd week of flowering. I have been doing HST bending and having good results, but think the HST may be causing the plants to take longer to harvest. I hope LST only will help increase harvests while getting me to harvest sooner. Day 17F-24F (Day 19) Man it’s such a shame that bbb#1 stunted out. It was so damn vigorous until it’s most recent feeding. I will make sure to cut back on teas next round as they can be a wild card sometimes. All 5 plants are packing on some serious early frost. But I’m not seeing too much chunk to the buds yet. My other grow that was flipped on the same day has almost no frost yet so that’s a good sign. (Day 21) Big strip today. I will pull off as many leaves as I need to ensure nearly all bud sites are exposed to adequate light. I’m still seeing excess N so I’m going to water in 2 gallons each until I get some runoff. The plants seem to be up taking water pretty decently so I’m going to push it a little with a heavier watering. Wow do the plants look amazing after that strip and flush! Everything is praying up beautifully, including #3 in the back. Let’s hope that gets it back on track now. (Day 22) I want to give a PK boost but all my bloom nutrients have way too much N and I don’t really want to risk it toxing anymore. I could give it a little bit of 0-18-0 bat guano and some 0-0-15 kelp extract but it could be completely unnecessary. I can’t see any signs of deficiencies but a small surplus couldn’t hurt either. (Day 23) I like how the ladies responded to the thorough watering. I will up my watering to 1 gallon every 48 hours from now on. It sucks to see how short bbb#1 is. I was expecting such a huge stretch but it never came because of that fucking tea! I should have leached the medium as soon as I saw stunting. It’s too bad because it definitely had the most potential for yield. (Day 24) I’m starting to think the main problem with bud size this round is all the topping I did early on. Not to mention they were vegging for nearly 3 months. I will try to pick off most of the larf before it wastes anymore energy. I think the ideal style of growing for bud size and veg time is a semi sea of green, or 6-8 plants per 25 square feet. I’m not a big fan of these giant plants as it’s a lot of wasted veg time and smaller bud size overall. The smell is really ramping up!

Week 9: Day 57-60: Seemed to have gotten the deficiencies(rather PH fluctuations causing them) under control. 4AM#3 took a while to recover but it has stopped progressing for the time being and the buds have continued to bulk up while the pistols start to orange out. 4#1 and #2 are doing good. They recovered faster and started to really bulk up. I'd say 4AM#1 has about 50-70% orange pistils while 4AM#2 and #3 are at about 10% by day 60. Damn like I said last week 4AM#2's buds are gona get huge! One of them tipped over on day 60, had to add support, but quite hard to find a spot when half the branch is the bud... Day 61-63: Continuing to bulk up, the 1.25x Calmg dose on day 60 seemed to do them well! 4AM#3 hasn't been showing any new signs of deficiencies, so that's good! Hoping she won't be too premature when I chop the plants(I am chopping days 73-74, only days I have time), but the pistils are starting to go crazy! Around 50% orange pistols now on 4AM#2 and #3! And 4AM#1 has about 90-95% orange pistils. When I used the handheld microscope, which is hard, the trichomes are almost all milky and some 5% amber on 4AM#1 and about 30-50% milky and a few amber on #2 and #3, seems like it will be just right! Can't wait! Gave em their last big feed of blume nutes on Dy 63, will be giving them plain PH'd water with Regulator till harvest. 10 Days left! almost there! 4AM#3 might look ugly but she still frosty and thicc as hell! Oh and they smell delicious!!! 😵 EDIT: Oh and just wanted to say thank you for all the help you all have given me so far! Oh and shout out to FastBuds, which sent me a message last week saying they were interested in me growing their genetics! They're sending me some free seeds for my next grow! How awesome is that!

Day 47 -55 On Day 46 i switched to 12/12. now they are stretching. This strain stretches very very much. Probably more than double so be careful! U will be able to see the stretch within the next posts. :) I use 3g/soil now and then 1g/soil at week 2 of bloom! At the start of bloom i still put the brenches into the pieces of the net so i maximize the light penetration throughout the bloom part. In a few days i ll stop LST because the brenches start getting hard.

Flower day 17 - All the ladies are looking great, starting to see a lot of bud sights & the smell is definitely getting stronger everyday I open the tent! Thanks for following & happy growing friends!🌱✌️🏼 Flower day 19- Got a bigger dehumidifier because I was having problems on days I would water the humidity would go through the roof at night so to prevent mold I bought a bigger dehumidifier but now it is throwing off so much heat the tent is pushing 90 degrees F at some points throughout the day so I’m not exactly sure how to fix the issue! Will definitely not be running so many plants in the next run for the 5x5! Hopefully things get better!😅😅

********** Week 2 of flower, Days 8 to 14 - Sept 26 to Oct 2/20 *********** It has been an exciting week with finding a crack in a main stem and started plus we added new supplemental nutrients to the feed as well. These girls are starting to push out some frost now as well. Overall, they are a little more squat than the other girls in the same tent but these girls are looking awesome. Buds are setting and starting to stack more as well😃 Pretty solid growth and bud sites for week 2 flower. Her leaf tips have been up and she is happy........she is happy all the time other than the first half hour of waking up😃👍 Very nice little girls to grow so far. The branching is certainly a little more lateral/horizontal than other strains I have grown. Could be that I was a little more aggressive with topping and tying down and they simply didn’t need it. She is not a long lanky strain and is making nice little bush shapes. She won’t have many colas but should be thick guys. C471 should be fewer and thicker while C472 will have a couple more colas but likely the main ones won’t be as thick as C471.......time will tell🧐 On Sept 28 I found a crack and had to do some repairs. Cream 471 was worse off the Gorilla Girl 4 with her cracked stem. GG4 was caught early enough that she didn’t separate much at the base. Looks to be as though I have caused the issue by topping the main stem a little too low😢 Coming back though now and when she was tied together and looked after she is bouncing back, its crazy how these plants can heal themselves😀💪👍 Took the tips from fellow growers and decided to try and fabric something with some cushion so that the straps holding the branches together don't cut into the branches. Needed another tool of the trade.......DYNAVAP to calm the nerves😀 because the grow has been going well and this set back has me pissed off as it is grower error😡 Seems to have worked out pretty well though and will keep our fingers crossed that the end result will be a frostier girl👊🤞 Switching the PK booster at the end of the week to Big Bud and started to add Rezin from Green Planet. Not much for Bud Factor X left so will run with Terpinator and Rezin as a replcement. 2nd layer of SCROG netting added early in the week, Sept 27/20. They are pushing out a good amount of leaves now and stretching so need to provide that added support for down the road. IPM spray again this week, last opportunity, with Plant Therapy. There has been something in the tent and I think I have killed them. One more shot though to make sure and before there are too many bud sites. Love this product!!!!!! Works so well at getting rid of thrips and mites. Little more detail........ Sept 26/20, Day 8 - Little heavier feed as they have not been watered for two days - 4L - CalMag @ 2ml, Sensi Bloom, B52, Bud Candy, Bud Ignitor @ 1ml - 830ppm and 5.7pH - will start to let the pH rise bit now over next couple of weeks Sept 27/20, Day 9 - 2nd SCROG layer added. Sept 28/20, Day 10 - more microbes today - 4 L - Microbial Mass @ 1.5ml, CalMag @ 1ml - 290ppm and 6.3pH - pH was a little high but left it...wasn't moving and then boom,,,,,,,oh well. - Good amount of runoff today. Sept 30/20, Day 12 - Heavier feeding today - 5L - CalMag, Vitathrive, Rezin @ 2ml Rhino Skin, Bud Candy, B52, Sensi Bloom @ 1ml. - repaired the cracked stem a little better tonight......was not sure how this girl will work out. Crack is fairly substantial. - Try and keep the paper towels wet now so the humidity is high around the wound. - Should have left a little more branch from the node above when cutting the top. Oct 1/20, Day 13 - Switching PK booster today to Big Bud......these two girls are past bud ignitor.....already stacking. - 3L - CalMag, Sensi Bloom, B52, Bud Candy, Big Bud @ 1ml - 665ppm and 5.9pH - IPM spray tonight again with Plant Therapy. Think I have seen some bug damage on Cream 47 girls. That takes us to the end of week 11 in growth and week 2 of flower. Time will go quick now that we are off and running. Will be done feeding by early week 7. Want a good flush and leeching on these girls to get all the nutes out. I have been missing it by a few days on the last few auto runs and want this photo run to be better as I have a better track of weeks and when she will be done..........should be done by the end of week 9, about 7 more weeks. Another great week here. Defoliated the girls throughout the week. Continue to do well and very healthy. They drink a good amount but nothing crazy. The frost is unreal! It's even on the fan leaves! I can't believe the smells as well. The orange sharpie smell! It's awesome and I can't believe the stability of this strain before it's even released! Watering daily or every other day. Also adding water to to self watering pots as needed. Starting to use the UVB today!! 🤞😎 Gonna start now at 30 minutes a day for a few days. Then slowly increase as we move forward. They already have a lot of trichomes, as you can see, and I'll look to increase those. I plan on harvesting these girls at week 8 to save the terps as much as possible. Let's go!

I liked growing this strain very much, it was very easy growing and everything worked out nice, I like the structure of this plant the node spaces are not so big and everything filled in nicely when she was flowering. The fastbuds zkittelz has giant huge buds they where one of the biggest buds i grow on auto's. It was a plesure to see em getting bigger and bigger. I found that the plant was very forgiving as in mistakes you make, so i recomend this to every grower out there. They only thing is it takes a little bit longer then they advertise. But then again maybe the company's are giving you the most early time you can harvest if you do everything as perfect as you can. I think you cannot do much more perfect as you have a plant that grow as big as this one. So that being said i think if you let em go for 2 weeks more then in the last 2 weeks the buds are really fattening up and they double in size sometimes. In the end i had some foxtails on my buds, not all of them but still a few, I was thinking about it, and maybe it is because i pushed her a little bit too much in the end with the nutrients, She was not that close to the lights i think. Or maybe it is also a little bit in the strain. I definitely grow this strain again. (no rights to the music in the video)
