Another week closer... Everything is moving along, From that one day of missing feeding last week when we set the clocks back it messed with one of my girls, but not much I can do about it.. Start of week 3, the three survivors are doing great! I did happen to find some algae growing on top of one of the rockwool cubes. (This was my fault for not fully covering the tops of them with hydroton to block out light.) As an attempted fix, I cut some square pieces of black cloth that I laid of the top of the cubes to block out the light completely. Hoping removing their light source, the algae will die off and discourage any further growth. If it gets any worse I’ll try using a hydrogen peroxide solution. Day 17, the three ladies are looking nice. Starting to see some nice healthy roots populate inside the buckets. I went ahead and upped their nutrients today. We will see how they are doing in the morning. -FloraFlex - 1.5g/gal of each V1 and V2. -Advanced Nutrients - 1/2 strength MGB and hobbyist additives. **Algae update: seems like using the black cloth to block out all the light has killed off that algae growth and I don’t see anymore so it’s working!** Day 18, I thought one of my plants had root rot. Which was weird for it to happen that fast in less than 24 hours since changing the res. Come to find out it’s just nutrient stain from the Advanced Nutrients, so thank god. #1 and #2 which are growing with FloraFlex got FIMmed today. I’ve topped plants before but never FIM. Not sure if I did it right, but that’s the fun in all this, is experimenting to see what works. Day 20, #1 and #2 are responding well after being FIMmed couple days ago. I decided to FIM #3 as well. I also decided to leave the 4th one out of this diary from here on out since she’s behind. We will stick with the original three that survived from the start. So far I’m really loving their bushy appearance and thick leaves. Their roots are coming out super nice as well! Pretty soon these babies are going to just take off!

All going really well so far they popped out the ground and doing there thing I ordered a co2 bag that should be here in a day or so, and apart from that I m happy no signs of bugs or deficiency’s

8/2: Everybody is potted up in a 3 gallon pot now. I sprayed them all with Boom Boom Spray one day, and foliar fed with kelp and Superthive all week. They got their first real feeding with TPS One and seemed to like it. I also gave them a little molasses.

Left these ones out a bit to long and not nearly enough love, so they suffered a bit but that's ok. I am going to experiment and try water curing the buds. First time ever using this method and I think it will make a good little project. No idea how to it will turn out, been reading it will remove most of the smells and that sucks but the smoke is very clean and light. Only time will tell. take about 7 days to fully water cure. bud washing helped get rid of a lot of extra that stuck to them outside.

1/28/24 - Day 83 - Here we are on day 83 and the trichomes are looking good. I bet one week, if not two weeks before I start to flush with water. There are some photos of the Trichomes a couple of weeks ago and then again today. 1/31/24 - Day 86 - The buds are starting to get FAT and grow outward. Tons of new buds coming from the buds. Sounds werid but the buds are growing buds now. The smell is out of this planet strong. Im looking forward to the next couple of weeks!

This one was planted in coco, perlite, and worm castings. Due to this being practically the first time I've used this mix without adding the peat based "light mix," I had not realised how quickly the pots will dry out, especially during the high water consumption of the flowering stage. I realise that I need to be treating it as pure coco. This can be fantastic, for example, if you have just one pot/plant and can provide all the waterings and monitoring continually and regularly. This tends to make you use more nutrients than necessary, as personally I find it difficult to use just plain water. I think many of us still can't help the feeling that we should be adding things to every watering. Therefore, when the frequency of the waterings increases, we are still adding nutrients EVERY time. Which is an overall increase in nutrients, too. For my part, I'm cutting the amount of nutrients per watering. I feel like nutrients are a bit of a crutch to growers. I'm still getting used to the coco and the waterings, but I am really enjoying it. If you don't check your plants multiple times a day, it may not be the best choice of substrate. For me, I'd much rather the pots dry quickly because it reduces the chances of mould and mildew, which I'm always concerned about. The pot was actually top dressed with Canna Terra Soil Mix, as the company I'd purchased from sent the wrong item, and I couldn't get it sorted in time. This has really annoyed me as my top dress went mouldy, and I had to remove the top 1cm. After I used this, that soil became compacted and has remained that way since. Due to this, I would much rather not use these types of substrates. 28.5.25: Watered 1.5ltrs with Trace PH 6.4. 29.5.25: I took everything off the timer and am now running 24/0 light schedule. I want to make the most out of what light is available. The plants need it. My tent is underpowered in that department, so increasing the duration of the light is all I can realistically do. Hopefully, it will help. Watered with the same nutrients as above, 6.5L. PH 6.1. 30.5.25: Watered again, plain water with Ecothrive Biosys 4L. PH 6.3 Tganks fir stopping by and hanging out 😊💚✌️🍃😃

Last couple of days... No watering from today, (Day 129) and the light will be switched off as well from tomorrow (Day 130) so I will harvest them approx on Day 132 or 133 on the 18th week :)

Moved Maggie to the corner she has a stretch going that I HOPE is ending and I dont want to set the lights to her. Watching that plant carefully Considering a PK boost watching only Layla for that as the other two ... well hell what can they tell me? 11/5 Working to getting the canopy under control with one stunted plant and another stretching like crazy. Put a block under Brandy to move her up level with Layla. Trained down Maggie this growth needs to end, it was already stressed. I have been using lemon juice as a PH UP since we went organic late last spring. Because of all the problems I have been looking into a lot of things further and found that lemon juice begins to degrade as a PH up after as little as an hour. A 6.0 PH water gallon can go to 6.5ish in 24 hours simply sitting in a dark corner in a jug. One can imagine the variances in soil. Why I dont know but I am going back to chemical PH additives post haste in fact its already done.
