So Day 60 of 12/12 and the girls are ripening perfectly. Trichomes are mostly cloudy but I think they need a few more days for sunset sherbet and another week or 2 for the Plat. GSC. Obviously the amnesia haze will go for another 3-4 weeks. Hope you guys enjoy the update ✌️🏼

Skywalker putting on tons of frost and seems to be happy with the status quo so no more compost teas for her. Starting to have a distinct Kush scent filling the tent now. In the future I’d probably LST this from the start to increase yields but other than some defoliation throughout, I haven’t done any training which has been nice. Blueberry impressed me with the size of the buds starting to form. Signs of frost for sure. Not very aromatic yet at this point. Stem rub is a different story. She has been showing some signs of calcium/mag deficiency in some of the leaves which seemed to improve with top dressing/Recharge. Been drinking a steady liter minimum daily Glueberry OG continues to explode in growth. I’ve done quite a bit of defoliation to keep tops exposed and it has bounced back quick each time. I can see why this would be a fun strain outdoors, as it is slowly taking up a solid 4 square ft of the tent. I may end up finishing this outdoors depending on its desire to consume the canopy space. Due to the longer flower period, I’ll keep up with compost teas to support all that growth. So far, it seems to be working Week ended 7/20

The Blackberry auto by Fastbuds has been a thrilling plant to grow. Starting off as a tri-cotyledon seedling, she's been a rush from the start. When she came out mutated I didn't even know if I wanted to keep her; I asked the growdiaries.com community for help. After speaking with a few experts I decided to keep it and see what would happen.. Since then she has developed thick healthy stocks stalks and dark leaves with ripe purple flowers bursting out between them add every node. Using a home mix super soil with Promis Organic as the base, I decided to feed compost extracts laced with Golden Tree & CalMag which helped kick this girl into over drive and push out these dense sticky buds. I'm expecting around 3 ounces from her and it's day 73 since she popped out of the soil. She has a sweet aroma and is completely covered in trichomes. Drying/ Curing process: - she will be hung upside down by the main stock until she is dry (8-12 days) - My humidity will be set to 55 - 60 % and my temps will range from 65-70 degrees F - Will store in Glas Mason jars with 2-way Boveda humidty packs. These are a lifesaver for new growers. They will keep the humidity in the jar at 62%. - after 2 weeks I'll throw down a mad sesh Thanks to everyone who offered me tips and help when I needed it. About this diary> So I've made it to the end! This baby didnt die on me! This diary was half a record for myself, to keep improving and contrasting against my future grows in and out of this wonderful platform (growdiaries), and half a tutorial for other noobs like me. That's why I wrote somewhat long explanations about some of the things I myself found confusing during this and last grow. I also repeated myself, but again mostly because I was trying to learn while doing. I got some help from other growers in the community, which was very nice, and different from trying to figuring out everything by oneself. This girl stretched a lot! from about 30 cm at the end of flower to about 90 cm before harvest, it survived nutrient burn, an accident were I dropped something heavy on her on flower, accidentally chopping a branch during LST and spider mites. However, still yielded nicely. I cant imagine what these genetics could become in the hands of a master grower!! About the growing conditions> The idea of the grow was, not only to learn how to grow a somewhat long flowering strain (6 week veg, 10 weeks flower) but also doing it very cheaply. I think the most expensive thing I bought was the seed from RQS. I built my own light fixture (from 4x 4.00CAD COBs from aliexpress), some cardboard, wire, sticks, tape and aluminum foil. I also used dollar store nutrients (like 15% of a 15-15-15 veg mix, and a 15-30-15 flowering mix). I timed this strain to finish a few weeks before the temperature really starts dropping outside, and was always able to keep it around 20-29C without any air conditioner/heater. About growing amnesia haze> I harvested this plant on the early side, but I found it a challenge not to harvest earlier! Since many weeks ago the delicious smell has been filling the room and some parts of the house... Plus, its a long wait... However, I think it was very well rewarded :) As I said, the high is creative, giggly, energetic and uplifting, at least from the premature samples we got. I will update this once the real deal is dry and cured :) About the harvest> Well in terms of numbers, I will update this when the weed is done drying, but I can do an estimate right now... each sample I took weighted about 1.45g wet, and dried to a 25% of that (0.35 g each)... It means that what I weighted from the harvest (412.86g + a bunch of trim) would probably weight about 100g when dry... Let's see how it goes in a week or two :)

Another week down a whole week of 12/12 and I won’t say she’s stretching yet, I would have thought ild see son pistols by now but no.i know she’s healthy the cutting I took only took two days to fully root A few new things to add to the list of nutrients, this week she’s had a heavy top dress. Reaper, soil candy, and barley to kick start bloom, grow plus to make sure she has enough to stretch properly and the knf. Which I’ve add fermented fruit juice to now for bloom, Fermented fruit juice - I’ve gone hard to ferment this properly since using shop bought fruits, Bananas for potassium, blackberries and blueberries because that’s how I imagine a moonberry would taste 😂 I know it’s no going to influence the terps but still LAB for microbes and jsm ( leaf mould and potato in water to collect microbes in the water) And finally molasses. This brew took about three weeks. The light stayed the same high flipped to 12 hours and turned up to 75%. She will stay there until the plant reaches 30cm from the light. I thinkkkkk that wraps this week up might be a bit boring from here on out work wise butttt will be exciting watching her blow up, till next week. Let’s get it 💪🏽

******* Week 7 Flower - October 31 to Nov 6, 2020, Days 43 to 49 ********* This was flush week.......hurry the hell up and flush week!!!!!😃 This strain is an 8 week strain!! She was close to ready at the end of the week, Day 49. Start your flush week 6......I waited for week 7 thinking she would go 9 weeks. Gave them two doses fo Flawless Finish and 10 gallons of water each. Cant do much more than that🤞👍 She is a sticky girl........move any leaves around and you find out just how much😃 These are some nice Freakin looking buds!!!!!! Beautiful colours and so frosty all the way down the fan leaves........so pissed off at myself because I missed her flush timming.....there are some beautiful purples and yellows in this strain that I missed!☹️ Little more detail....... Nov 1/20, Day 44 - Heavy flush day today. - 32L of tap water with 180oom and 5.7pH going into the girls. - runoff numbers for the girls were both pretty close to the same at 185ppm and 6.3pH. - last 3.5L of flush contained Flawless Finish @ 2ml/L. - Decided I do need to use a flushing agent with these girls......they are so close to done now!!!!! Nov 3/20, Day 46 - Another flushing agent watering today. - each girl given roughly 5L mixture of half tap water and half RO water with Flawless Finish at 4ml/L - More than I would normally do but feeling a little desperate at this point!!! - I am almost feeling like C472 is close to pulling now........damn.....I need a couple of more days yet so just going to let more go amber and hopefully she will continue to take the water and flush herself. Nov 6/20, Day 49 - 1L of plain water for each girl. 25ppm and 6.2pH. - we are at the finish line.....just keeping the pot moist right now. - they are ready for darkness anytime now........they are......I am not😂 Looking good Apolo.......Trichomes are lots and smells are plentiful👍 They finishing too damn fast though😀😀 Good problems I guess, wish I cut some clones to run her one more time and stop feed at week 5 flower😞

Let’s go Day 36 !!! This week went real great, girls built up a lot of structure, and stayed super healthy ! Today they got fed just water phd at 6.5 ! They been really loving that balance! I also removed a lot of under trim since we are going into preflower , so had to shave up those legs lol ! It’s really great for them , the love that airflow , but don’t take off too much or you could shock your plants so be careful ! Can’t wait to see what these girls do this week ! Grow Diary – Day 79 (Flowering Day 59) Strain: Sour Frootz by Karma Genetics Plants: 4 clones Training: HST + SCROG Nutrients: Flushing – pH-adjusted water only Lighting: LED at 50% intensity Date: May 30 Status: Final flush in progress – harvest slightly delayed Today marks Flowering Day 59, and the Sour Frootz are now well into the ripening phase. For the past three days, only pH-adjusted water has been given, initiating the flush phase. At this point, the nutrients in the soil are nearly depleted, and the plants are naturally drawing on internal reserves—visible through gradual leaf yellowing and fade. The plants are approaching ideal harvest maturity. The delay in harvest by a few days allows more amber to develop and maximizes terpene maturity without compromising overall quality. Lighting Conditions: • The LED is currently running at 50% power to gently finish the ripening process while minimizing light stress and preserving essential oils during these final days. Plant Observations: • Buds are hard, resinous, and aromatic • Strong sour/citrus funk intensifies with every day • Natural senescence is occurring – older fan leaves fading evenly • No nutrient deficiencies or toxicity present • Humidity stable around 50%, airflow is optimal • No signs of mold or late-stage issues Outlook: Harvest is likely to occur within the next 3–5 days, depending on final trichome checks and desired effect.
