Overall, I am extremely happy with the genetics of the Auto Euforia and the general success of the grow. I always like to reflect on mistakes I have made, so let me lay them out here: I overlit the plant during veg, contributing to it's bushy nature. It grew well but this would be a waste of electricity if I was growing more commercially. During the last week of flower, my region of Ontario was hit with tons of rain and humidity. I took some steps to increase circulation of dehumidified air, but lowering 95rh to 65-70rh is still insufficient and I lost some control of the environment. The awful result was the start of mold in some select areas, particularly in the fattest buds and where leaves were cut away and petioles remained. This issue is not due to Dutch Passions great genetics, and is entirely due to a combination of an unseasonable environment and my own overconfidence. This mold was never clearly apparent on the outside of the buds, but I found it will trichomes scouting under magnification. This forced me to speed up the harvest and drying process. It also means that I have had to carefully grade the buds into those safe for smoking and vaping, those mold free but needing a second examination (will be rosin pressed), and those close enough to spots of mold to be only for for edibles. Any moldy bud was of course cut away and will be disposed of. Nevertheless, I have many ounces of fantastic buds, and will be making some nice pressed rosin based 510 cartridges. I will edit the harvest post with more information after the cure, and showing the various processing I will be doing. Happy growing! 🌱

Week Harvest My journey of Runtz Automatic and her entrance in the Eternity Grow Cup 2025 began on January 7 when she popped her head above the soil. Runtz was an easy carefree plant to grow with no incidents of pests or disease. A few defoliations were all that was necessary to keep her in check. I kept her under a light schedule of 18/6 to maximize her light exposure. After topping her she grew only 24 inches tall. This small plant structure is suitable for growers with limited space. She was harvested on March 20, day 74 from germination. As part of the flushing process, I topped the pot with ice, then watered with ph 6.5-6.7 water for 3 days. Then I put Runtz Auto in the dark for 2 days still in her pot. March 20, she got the chop, Wet weight 314g and is hanging dry in a darkened room. As she dries, candy, sweet, fruity smells escape the room. Temps are 71-72and 43-48% humidity. I am sure she is as tasty as she smells and will not disappoint in effects. My sincere thanks to Patricia @Zamnesia for her support and encouragement throughout this grow. Big thanks and sincere appreciation to Plagron and Zamnesia for hosting this fun and exciting contest. Everyone entering the contest started with the same strain in either a feminized auto or photoperiod seed. Zamnesia generously provided 5 seeds to everyone and Plagron provided the Green Sensation flowering additive. During this contest I enjoyed visiting many contestants’ diaries and seeing beautiful gardens. Many, like me, are limited in space or number of plants they can grow but all are displaying fine specimens. Some Runtz phenotypes are very sativa dominant, with long thin leaf fingers, while others lean more indica. What will be most interesting will be the smoke reports on effects. My theory is that the more sativa leaning in structure, the more active, energetic and euphoric that plant will be and the indica leaning specimens will be more relaxing and uplifting. Lights: I don't change Bloom light, I still use Mars Hydro TS1000 - 150w full spectrum, great light to use both in vegetation and flowering 💡💡 Training: LST: third attachment of all twigs where flowers are formed 🌸🌸 Defoliation: the first big defoliation took place in the middle of the week, I removed the large leaves at the bottom of the plants and those that shaded the flowers 🍃🌞 The little girl has only grown by 5 cm since last week, she is already putting all her strength into flowering. The pistils at the ends of the twigs already form white tufts 😊💓 I can smell a subtle scent of herbs and flowers, but very subtle indeed. Blütewoche 5 Mir läuft langsam das Wasser im Mund zusammen. Die Entwicklung der Blüten läuft auf Hochtouren! In dieser Woche war eigentlich wenig zu tun. Ein paar welke Blätter unterhalb des Blattwerks wurden entfernt. Alle zwei Tage bekommen die Damen 10l Wasser mit einem Ec von 2,5. Anzeichen für Überdüngung habe ich bisher keine gefunden. Der Calcium mangel ist danke Calmag im Rahmen geblieben. Ich bin sehr froh das Scrog Netz zu haben, die Blüten werden gegen Ende vermutlich zu schwer werden. Einige kleine untere Triebe die es nicht ganz durchs Netz geschafft haben wurden mit Kordel gesichert. Lasst gerne eure Gedanken dazu hier! Hola a todos 🙌 hoy finaliza la última semana del vegetativo 🌱 Día 2/05 cambié el fotoperiodo y regué con los fertilizantes de la flora, también prendí los led IR y 700nn del panel (observable en el video). Aumenté el volumen de riego y comienzo a prepararme para lidiar con el olor 🍃

I had some problems with the plants, first of all serious shortage problems because I had not realized that they needed so much fertilizer at practically every watering. Now they seem fine, on day 21 of flowering I plan the last massive defoliation and lollipopping. I didn't even think they would stay so low and having folded them too soon proved to be difficult in the future for ordinary maintenance. Experience for the next time!

26.09.21. У Халка очередная неделя прошла отлично, начал растягивать боковые ветви, в дальнейшем будет Top макцшки или Fim подрезка, не решил. На выходе показывает небольшое завышение ppm и снижение ph, что говорит о том, что девчонка перевела и надо бы полить водичкой с минимальным количеством удобрения. Всем удачи, жду в гости, пишите комментарии друзья, лайк это здорово, но мнение человека неоценимо👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿🌱 28.09.21 немного потренировал Халкушу, главный стебель как из железа, толстый и не тянется, через пару дней топну макушку. 30.09.21 мне очень нравится развитие Халка, потенциал у растения очень серьёзный, о чем говорит размеры листьев и толщина ствола.

Day 23. Girls got pure water yesterday and all looking promising. One girl has tabaco mosaic or just intolerance to magnesium ;))) Alaskan Diesel is my new love, amazing looking plants. Some leave tucking and no other work done, just moving pots every day. No plans, just pure jazz with them. Got eviction notice, 21 of February is my last day, doubt I will make on time ;))))) Happy Growing !!!
