Hey Guys! Super excited this week! I've really been wanting to try growing outdoors, so I built a cheap hoop house! Got most of this stuff for the frame from Lowes under 300$. All the soil products I got from GrowGreenMI. Some really cool people out there. One thing I'm super worried about is drainage. Right now those holes are about 4 feet deep and they've got about 4 inches of water in them already. What's been cautioned is that, eventually, about 2 months in these plants roots will grow and reach the bottom and cause root rot to form. One of the biggest things I was trying to be wary of was causing root rot. This was also the biggest precautionary measure I took when mixing the soil. Adding the extra perlite, coco, and clay pebbles. Best advice right now is to build the soil up on the holes another 16 to 18 inches and possible stick a PVC pipe down to the lowest drainage point of the hole to allow some of that natural occurring water to evaporate. Any advice anyone has on it is welcomed! Making a compost tea for the soil outdoors, will probably put 2 cups in each RDWC bucket as well and let that do it's magic for a day or so before nutrient change. Raised the bed about 14 inches as well! All the seeds sank! Off to a good start! Lol

The plants have reached a stage where they have enough foliage and growth on them to begin training and defoliation. I cut most of the side growth and major fan leaves off. Using safety pins and twine, I started their LST.

16/04/2021 (day 68): la plus grande plante a atteint le filet cette semaine mais j’ai été obligée de le retirer. Les tiges sont si épaisses et si rigides que j’arrive à peine à les plier pour les maintenir sous le filet. C’est seulement ma deuxième session et je n’ai pas assez d’expérience pour les plier sans les endommager. J’ai surélevé les plus petites pour avoir une canopée à peu près régulière et j’ai augmenté la puissance d’éclairage à 60%. Les plantes sont beaucoup plus vigoureuses que lors de ma première session et les fleurs sont beaucoup plus belles. Peut-être qu’elles apprécient plus les engrais Biobizz que les BioNova... ou peut-être que je commence à comprendre un peu mieux ce dont elles ont besoin 😀

These girls are growing amazing. I did some defoliation and lollipopped them this week. Hopefully with more air flow at the canopy level and lollipopping, the tops and main colas can focus all the energy on growing some beautiful flowers. All in all Happy Growing.

Love how beautifully she is growing! She’s 12 days in transition now so 2 days away from 2 weeks in bloom basically (since I switched to 12-12) so interested to see where her stretch will cease! She’s no longer on raises now and is now climbing above the girl that was already in bloom! (Iced grapefruit) and now stands an inch above her when I started I had the plants raised to match her height and now it will be visa versa! And so many flower sites too! Amazing progress! I pulled her ties for the last time too to allow the lower branches to gain more light but I’m done with that now as it’s opened enough and is now working on them lower branches too! But she’s such a beauty! Has flower sites all the way up her branches!

2025 Plagron / Zamnesia Eternity Grow Runtz Auto Week 11 Flower 7 Runtz Automatic is in her last week; March 17 had her wet trim and was put in the dark for 2 days before getting the chop on March 20. Runtz fade and nutrient usage apparent in the leaves combined with a check of her trichomes were an indication of readiness. The older pistils are turning orange brown and water consumption is slowing down. Many leaves were fully yellow and fell off when I touched them. Her leaves look pretty with lime greens, pinky purples in the bud formation. The buds are dense and covered in trichomes supported nicely with her stems. Through the microscope, the trichomes are mostly milky with some amber as well. She was harvested on day 74 from germination. As part of the flushing process, I topped the pot with ice, then watered with ph 6.5-6.7 water for 3 days. Then I put Runtz Auto in the dark for 2 days still in her pot. She will hang to dry in a darkened room. Temps are 71-72and 50% humidity. This week the gals were fed on March 17 & 19. Pics were taken on the 17th. Banana kush auto has all kinda potassium deficiency signs. My ph got out of control for too long, and she is showing it. She is starting to bulk, and outside of her new marks she is good size. I did a solution changed 4 days ago, and have been getting her stable since. Week 2 and the clones are starting to veg nicely. Got some nice roots starting to develop in the nutrient solution so hopefully over the ne t week or so I should see some nice growth. Couple of the older fan leaves that came with the clone were starting to do more damage than good so decided to strip some and I'll do the others over the next few days Day 10 Uploaded some more pictures of the root system these babies are developing quickly. Next feed/water change is due tomorrow so I'll up the white shark powder to help aid the root growth and I'll also increase the fulvic acid to 2mm per litre of water Day 11 Added some shogun sumo boost at 1ml per litre and increased the cal mag 3ml per litre and increased the great white rooting powder to one and a half spoonfuls. Ok so now the plants they are looking nice and green the newer leaves have a really healthy smell of chlorophyll the older leaves that came with the clones look a bit worse for ware but are still doing more good than bad so they will stay for now. So I tried some kushman chiropractic techniques to increase strength and nutrient transfer. The first one my stomach was doing flips I was so nervous I thought I might snap the stem completely but all was good the plants dropped a little but have started to recover after only half hour in the tent. I will repeat this process once a week on the new growth Day 13 Started to use sumo boost foliar spray at 1ml diluted with 1 litre of ph 6.5 water. Cut off some more of the damaged leaves and they are all looking back to good health after the kushman chiropractic treatment Day 15 Got myself a ppm meter and checked my reservoir as I haven't used one during the grow I was expecting to be around the 450ppm mark but to my surprise it was at a lovely 380ppm. Solution temp is now constant at 22.2c humidity fluctuates between 55%rh and 73%rh Day 18 so I've added two carbon dioxide bags to the grow room to give these ladies a little extra boost. Nutrients and temps have all stayed the same. Now the plants they are all growing well some better than others but that was to be expected considering I'm using clones that where half dead when I got them. So I stopped the plants and did a little defoliation Day 20 New spider farmer ts2000 has arrived and what a piece of kit it is currently got it set to 60% will be keeping an eye on them to make sure this is not to intense for my girls. Viper 300 carbon filter kit installed and I'm very happy with the filter and the fan supplied got my intake fan set to about 20% to give a good airflow through the tent all in all very happy with my upgrades. Now the girls as you can see they are getting bigger and have bounced back after the second chiropractic treatment and the topping I did to them. I've moved my two 1000w led lights over to one side of the tent to give the coco experiment a bit more light. Not sure if I mentioned this but my tent I's 8ftx5ftx6ft. 4 Purple Push Pops PPP (grew 2023 outside). Clones from my clone guy 1000w LED, 4G Autopots,, coco/perlite 65/35, Jacks RO + dry koolblom and humic acid , RO water, AC pro Controller and T8, 5x5 GG Tent with extension Garage grow SoCal Another hot week in the garage averaging 88°. The girls are starting to get fat and enter the ripening stage. Purples are strong. I got purple trichomes!! We’re running just under 1000ppm with no issues. We switched nutes and reservoir funk is gone. This weeks accomplishments: Switch from GH to Jacks RO Install separate reservoirs for black cherry gelato and purple push pops Clean all autopots and reservoir lines. Install separate lines for black cherry gelato This weeks issues: Spider mites. Found them in the outside grow and found a few leaves with them inside. Big time nightmare. Primarily on the gelatos inside. Doing manual scouting and removal every day. Long term issues It’s hot. High 80s low 90s all week. So the same - Cooling and VPD targets during heat waves Preventing the spread of mites and mold issues during high humidity conditions Managing girlfriend expectations through harvest. Week 6 flower and the girls seem to have recovered from last week’s neglect and light intensity, but I’m sure the end result will be affected. The leaves also got a bit beat up. Watered in the final top dressing and did another round of selective defoliation. Moved the tops around a bit to open up the lower bud sites.
