Now this baby was a delight to grow and grew real big. I decided to leave this lady to do her own thing and she ended up finishing just short of 6ft! The main cola was huge and juicy and all round the end result was really nice and super strong just the way it should be.

Buds are touching the top of my tiny green house! I will have to tie them down a little more as they will just get moldy minging and useless that way! Buds sites are growing fast and looking nice! Some resin production also. This is my favourite time of flowering where you can see the biggest development. Heavy feeding at the moment. But I think she’s going to need it! So hard taking good pics as she is so gangly!! And my other plants are in the way

Yo! Week 2 Flower diary. Honestly I'm lost now I'd say it's closer to the end of week 3. I've done a full res wash, sterilization and refill ahead of adding another 5 plants. Even in one day I'd say I can see a visible 'perk' in these girls since doing that. Now off big bud and onto PK. They were showing signs of K deficiency so I took that and threw in some PK and the results speak for themselves. Frost is now in full swing. Got me drooling at the already grapey terps coming from them. Photos are poor this week as lights had already come on before I got to them. Will try for some with just the fluorescent on next week.

Woche 5 Die Money Maker bekommt seit dieser Woche nur noch 12 Stunden Licht, damit Sie in die Blüte geht. Die Wurzeln entwickeln sich auch weiterhin gut auch wenn sie nicht Weiß sind und im Eimer manchmal sehr wenig Wasser ist da die Pflanze sehr viel trinkt. In dieser Woche habe ich an der Money Maker wenig gemacht außer das Lit auf 12 Stunden gestellt und die Dünger Komponenten auf die Blüte Phase geändert. Nach den Topping letzte Woche finde ich hat die Money Maker eine richtig schöne Form bekommen. Bei Fragen einfach die Frage stellen, genauso bei Verbesserungen und Tipps für mich. So I thought I was going to harvest last week but I decided not too because there were still a good bit of white pistils and none of the trichomes had turned amber yet so I pushed it another week. Well I still have some white pistils and am thinking gonna let it ride a little bit longer. Just giving it a good flush right now.

Day 71. Took down old leaves, she smells FANTASTIC and is sticky, will be strong ! Mars TS1000 did great job ! This girl coped without food best, but fading too. Sometimes i regret, that no nutes were used, maybe taste will pay out the sorrow ;))) Day 76. She fills the room with sweetness !!! Still would need 3-4 weeks, but i go for month holidays in 4, so i chop her on events last day - Aprils 30. Day 77. She is getting there, i see some weak colours, smell is very nice, even old leaves makes fingers sticky, gets weak violet tone and is on highway to chop land ;))) Happy Growing !!!

Itty-Bitty is now 15 inches tall, Strain: Royal Dwarf-- so she was not meant to get very big anyways!- VERY happy with the 25-30 buds, she will not grow amy taller, now focusing on fitting up her nuggets. She's the oldest of my 7 strains this run- popped up from soil Oct 3rd 2023. Do not plan on harvest until 2024.

Week 1 of veg. In the books and we have a stable of very healthy and incredibly vigorous plants on the grow here. Even the runty one (there’s always one) has shown some signs of strong growth and we may not end up culling her from the mix at all. Over the last couple days, growth has exploded with no signs of slowing down - even after their transplant to the bigger pots👍. They’re doing everything they’re supposed to and showing that F1 vigour at every step. So far, so good and we really couldn’t ask for a better start to this run. We incorporated a very mild solution of our primary nute this week - Druid Berkana. This stuff is a one part system designed for the whole cycle and its proven to be one of the best all-around nute brands we’ve tried to date. Some light foliar spraying with liquid karma continues to mid week and then they’re all on their own👌. Expecting big things from this run and if we get lucky with continued robust growth - might be able to take clones after the third week of veg and flip🤞🤞🤞. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. I ordered a new bigger setup as you can see. Switched from LED to HPS. Although it has a significant heat output diff, I can tell the plants love it. I also noticed I developed some fungus nats in the soil of the smaller plants. I finally got a soil meter to help me know more exactly when go water which should rid the fungus nats if I'm not over watering. Lastly, I'm going to scrog this week. I know I'm doing it rather late but it's a learning experience and I'll start sooner next time. Will be a lot of weaving. And I'm still deciding if I should cut everything else below the screen.

I cannot believe how much weed I have got from this one auto plant also I had to cut four inches off one of the main bud sites because of bud rot I would definitely use Dutch passion again

Week 8 of flower is in the books and this show is quickly coming to an end. I said last week we had about 7-10 days and I was spot on at the 10 day mark. I was only wrong about the order. The cheese is ready to chop before the rest and the gorilla cookies, cherry Bomb and lemon haze will follow in due course. The cheese is a beast and it’ll take a little time to get it all run through the bowl trimmer. At least the big one goes first. Her tallest colas have foxtailed like mar, despite the late supercrop. You can tell where the sweet spot for the light is at about 10” distance from the canopy. Any closer than that and the tails begin to show prominently. It’s a good example of just how close you can get to these fixtures with a little bit of prior experience. It’s been noted for the next run😎👍😎. The res. is on an h2o2 only flush for the remainder until the rest are ready to come down. Not a moment too soon either - the pollen chucking project has stalled out waiting for these girls to finish and now that we’ll have a little extra room, we can start running our cuts in the aerocloner🤟. Not long at all now folks. Thanks for tagging along through all this. Learned a bunch about this system and we’re back to hardware mode to make some serious improvements for the next run🤙😎. I love hardware mode😉. Background/Repetitive Nonsense The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Let’s just hope that she’s not a dud like the last bean. The new digs for this run are courtesy MarsHydro👊. Their 2x4 single grow tent, paired with a shiny new 240w QB courtesy ViparSpectra. These folks were kind enough to discuss a collaboration and as a result, here we are to test out the gear with an inaugural run of autos. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. Pics taken right before chop, currently hanging for the next 8-12 days and then a cure for a good few weeks. Pictures speak for themselves, I had high temps, supercropped the help out of them and yet are still the nicest looking bud I have ever grown since I started in 2003. Can’t wait to test how they smoke. I have two phenos but off to buy some more to do a more in depth pheno hunt.
