Day 78. Now this is the canopy I was looking for! I am so excited🤩 Look at the difference with the last update post 3 days ago! All because I changed the blue/white light to red. 2 more days before we go into flower. Day 80 the scrognet is in! Today I placed the scrognet and changed the timer to 12/12. Lets flower these gorgeous ladies! Yesterday I removed some new grown side shoots again. The next defoliating will be done after the first few weeks of flower.

They’re getting close! I could probably chop the GSC and GC but the Gelato has at least 2 weeks to go. I was hoping to bring them all down at once and dry in the tent but I may have to figure something else out. I think this is the most aesthetically pleasing garden ive grown so far. I enjoy all manner of plants and in general the GC is the nicest looking mj plant I’ve ever produced. I’d love a porch full just for the look! Anyways, all these girls are a little stunted from all the cold nights. Dark temps under 60, a lot under 50-55 for most of their lives but they look good, and still very frosty. Never had gelato or GC before so im excited to try them out, thanks for dropping by!

~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2202 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 12/1- I soaked both seeds for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged roughly 24 hours later. 12/3- Today their tap roots were about 1/2 to 3/4" so at 11 am I transferred them into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph using a tine off of a plastic fork as a 'mini trowel' to make a hole in the pellet and to gently cover the tap root, leaving only the seed head slightly exposed. This method accomplishes most of the initial work the seed has to do by eliminating having to orientate itself, push it's root down and head up. By 10pm the #1 seed had her cotyledon leaves opened and the #2 isn't far behind! 12/5- Well this is the full Day One for the #2 FBT #2202 and the second day for her sister! I'll keep them in the covered/heated Jiffy tray until I see their roots beginning to emerge from the peat pellet, then I'll transfer them gently into their respective fabric pots. The #1 will be going into the 4g Gronest pot from FastBuds and the #2 will reside in a 3g pot by Wraxly, which I'm trying out for the first time. 12/7- Yesterday I checked the #1 tester and she had roots starting to emerge from her pellet so I transferred her into her 4g Gronest pot. After making a hole in the medium for the peat pellet, I coated the entire surface with Xtreme Gardening Mycos then placed the pellet in the hole and planted her in. Lastly, I watered her in with about 4oz of de-chlorinated water with 3ml/g of FishShit added which was then ph'd to 6.4 @ 75℉ after which I placed a humidome over her for 24hrs to ensure that the humidity stays constant. The #2 tester is doing great and I'm confident that she should be ready to transfer into her fabric pot in the next couple of days! 😎💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! Started lsting both purple punches

So from the off this strain really does give it what for as they grow big quick which is always a good sign. So getting into veg they carried on growing really well and big especially the fan leaves and loved the training that I did. So going into the flower stage they grew at some rate so be careful about when you switch them as they do nearly triple in size just bare that in mind and it's definitely a 12 week flower not 8 ☹️ but we'll worth the wait😁 So overall I would give this strain a 7 would of been 10 if had been a 8 week strain. Got hydro halos setup because I need to be able to go away for work for a few nights, Was actually really easy to setup and works awesome, I got most the parts plus all my nutes from my local hydro store. I'm using cocoforcannabis.com as a guide for most of this grow and his site includes details on how to setup an auto watering system. At this point I'm still using Professors Go Green for cal-mag and following the GP3 feed chart to mix nutes to the right ratio and then diluting with cal-mag water to target EC (300-400EC for wk 1). Some of the plants had clawing leaves and were really dark green - I read that this could be caused by nitrogen toxicity and I'm concerned this may be due to the Go Green as it seems to be intended as more of a deficiency fix rather than a regular use cal-mag supplement for coco. Some of the leaves on one of the plants started getting rust spots like calcium deficiency, Canna Coco comes pre-buffered and I was adding Go Green so it had plenty, I think the likely case is that nitrogen toxicity may be blocking calcium intake also. I intend to change to Green Planets Pro-Cal which has low nitrogen and is made to work with their line of nutes. Also we named the girls! My roommate and I were pretty baked if you can't tell...

This is week 3 I only gave this plant just a tab of nutrient and it sent her into a growing frenzy. She has a slight scent and is already showing signs of flowering. Is this normal help!!

Start Woche 3 Blüte Heute wurde nochmal einiges ausgenommen. Das wurde einfach zu viel... Zudem kam doch wieder ein 2. Netz rein und zusätzlich noch ein paar Lst Clips für die Ausreißer. Heute gab es auch wieder 4l Wasser mit Green Bull und Bio PK von Biotabs. Aktuell bekommt sie alle 2-3 Tage jeweils 3-4l. Vpd ist aktuell auf 1.2kpa bei ca. 900-1000ppfd Die Chilled Cherry wächst auch🍒 Grade nur wieder recht kalt. Aber schaut bisher ganz gut aus.

the buds are very small, i had the same problem on the motherplant that i grew in hydro, its just a very bad phenotype, i had 2 of these in the package of 10 seeds, 8/10 was very good plants with very big yields of 125 grams/plant wich took very less space in the growroom. i yielded 170grams of this pheno in the rdwc system but the plant was very big ( took almost the whole tent in) so i reccomend not groIng this in hydro, it also finishes faster in soil with autumn colors at the end. i have a feeling the buds will get more weight in the coming week this is also only a 104watt LED.

My experience overall can be best described as an interesting enlightening process. Since it was my first time growing it was definitely a learning experience. From the height being as tall as it was to the high winds in the area making it difficult to keep them from toppling when the buds were reaching full maturity. Thinking it would have benefited from more topping than just the once. The terps that this strain has are exquisite!! I am going to miss walking by them towering over me and just breathing in their berry cream aroma, taking in the sweetness like I had just had some dessert. Really enjoyed this strain and hope to grow it again sometime. Thanks for checking out my first grow 🌼💚✌️

Cactus Candy Berry wächst munter vor sich hin. Nach dem Toppen hat sie innerhalb weniger Tage die Stachelproduktion verdoppelt. Ich mache es mir mit einer Tasse Tee auf dem Balkon gemütlich und dampfe ein paar Blüten von meiner Ernte aus dem Sommer. Schaue nach CBD Blüten auf GD und überlege welche Strains in meinen ersten Indoor Garten kommen. Noch ist das Zelt nicht vollständig. Aber Ende Dezember will ich spätestens starten, es wird ein CBD grow werden.

This week starts well, I haven't encountered any particular problems except for slower growth compared to an 18h or 24h, 100w 16h a day makes growth slower, after all you learn from mistakes, we'll see how it continues 🍪💐❤️
