Blackberry Kush

Blackberry Kush is an Indica-leaning hybrid. This strain is also known as “BBK” and its creation involved the crossing of two notorious strains: Blackberry and Afghan. Due to its short flowering time of 7-8 weeks and the relative ease of cultivating this beauty, this is a favorite strain amongst growers. Keep in mind that it will benefit tremendously from SoG (Sea of Green) setups and regular trimming to improve airflow. It has a distinctive Kush aroma and taste, meaning earthy and sweet with some hints of ripe berries. Watch out with dosage for this one, because a little bit will get you a long way and too much will cause sleepiness and lethargy – a true strain for late evenings before going to bed. Some unpleasant side effects include dry mouth, red eyes, and drowsiness. For medical users, its main applications are aimed at battling insomnia,anxiety, stress, and even chronic pain.
