Meet Pink Gelato, a flavorful Indica-leaning hybrid with THC levels averaging 22%. This mouthwatering cultivar was created by crossbreeding Pink Kush and Gelato – a feat to be attributed to Kannabia Seed Company. Growers should know that these medium-tall and challenging plants benefit from LST early on, as the canopy can become so dense that some parts won’t receive enough light. Humidity levels should be kept stable around 40-50%. The short flowering period lasts around 59 days, while yields can be exceptionally high, ranging up to 650g/m². The Pink Gelato flavor profile brings sweet and fruity notes with loads of citrus, making for a truly refreshing sensory experience. The high is beautifully balanced with uplifting effects that boost your creativity, while your body slowly succumbs to growing relaxation that will eventually leave you sleepy and thoroughly sedated. Due to these versatile and long-lasting effects, medical patients often choose Pink Gelato for treating chronic pain, insomnia, and anxiety-related conditions, including PTSD.

Pink Gelato produced a beautiful phenotype with a more indica-leaning structure. She showed strong vigor, remained robust throughout the grow and recovered well from the challenges along the way. Compared to the RS11, her stretch was slightly more compact, making her easy to manage. Sharing a 70 × 70 cm tent with such a vigorous neighbour meant she had a little less room to spread out, but she still produced gorgeous, thick flowers with an exceptionally dense and compact structure. Some buds even developed beautiful reddish to pink hues, giving her outstanding visual appeal. Combined with the heavy trichome coverage, she's an absolute eye-catcher. The aroma is rich and intensely fruity, with the classic creamy Gelato notes taking center stage. Looking back, growing both genetics together in the same small tent may not have been the ideal combination, simply because these two individual phenotypes developed quite differently. Different phenotypes of the same strain can vary just as much, so this shouldn't be seen as a characteristic of the genetics as a whole. Despite that, I'm more than satisfied with the outcome and would happily grow them together again. I'm very excited to see how the aromas and flavors evolve during curing. A huge thank you to Kannabia Seeds for giving me the opportunity to grow these beautiful genetics. I'm truly grateful for your trust and for this amazing opportunity. It has been a real pleasure from start to finish.

Pink Gelato presents itself as a very dessert-heavy strain right from the first contact. Immediately upon opening, a creamy-sweet aroma rises, reminiscent of vanilla gelato and slightly caramelized cream. However, behind it lies a distinctly noticeable earthy Kush base – not sharp, but warm and heavy. The sweetness thus does not come across as artificial, but rather round and "ripe". When crushed, this mixture intensifies: creamy sweetness upfront, moist earth in the background, a bit of wood, and a minimal resinous touch. In the grinder, the aroma develops further. The sweetness deepens and takes on a slightly nutty direction, while the earthiness becomes more pronounced. It then smells almost like sweet pastry on a wooden work surface – exactly this gelato character with a grounded undertone. The smoke itself is surprisingly smooth. With the first puff, the creamy gelato note comes through immediately: sweet, creamy, and slightly vanilla-like. On the tongue, the smoke feels thick and oily, almost "buttery". Upon exhaling, the second layer follows: earthy, slightly hash-like, with a dry forest floor finish. The aftertaste lingers long with a mix of dessert cream and warm wood. The effect sets in relatively quickly. First, a brief, mild head sensation – thoughts become calmer, not necessarily euphoric, but rather pleasantly relaxed. After a few minutes, the actual character begins: a distinctly physical relaxation. Shoulders, neck, and back become noticeably loose. The muscles feel warm, almost heavy. This is where the strength shows: one does not become immediately tired, but very calm. With the increasing effect, a classic couch-lock builds up. Movement is still possible, but the body no longer wants to. One sinks deeply into furniture, conversations become slower and more relaxed. Perfect for evenings, watching series, or sitting quietly together. The mind remains clear enough for entertainment, but the motivation for activity clearly fades. Later, a pleasant drowsiness sets in. The buds appear compact and densely built. The individual calyxes sit tightly on top of each other, forming a rather blocky, heavy structure instead of an airy Sativa shape. When pressed, they give in slightly but immediately return – a sign of good residual moisture and resin content. The surface is heavily coated with resin glands, creating an almost crystalline shimmer. Between the calyxes, many intertwined sugar leaves run closely together and are partially retracted. This gives the flower a very "grown together" and massive appearance. Also noticeable is: - hardly any large cavities inside - rather heavy weight for the size - resinous, slightly sticky outer layer - when breaking apart, the flower tears fibrously instead of crumbling This indicates a genetically indica-dominant structure and a late maturation phase with well-developed trichomes.

Pink Gelato impressed with a compact, sturdy structure and dense, vividly colored flowers that developed sweet, candy-like aromas throughout the run. During the selection process, several remarkable phenotypes emerged, ranging from high-yielding structures to intensely expressive terpene profiles. The best phenos showcased creamy, fruity notes paired with heavy resin production and subtle purple accents. In the end, only a few exceptional Pink Gelato phenotypes were kept for future cycles due to their outstanding combination of structure, aroma, and resin quality.

I have already put this strain on my favorites list It grew perfectly with a great shape even though it stayed on the small side it weighs the same as some of my much larger plants. The buds not only look great they are rock solid n covered in trichomes (sticky icky) and smell oh so good my best description would be like a lemonade float. It's just a guess because I've never heard of a lemonade float but that is definitely what I'm smelling

Also Pinky is auch geerntet, 545g vorgetrimmt im ganzen. Soweit alles ok, Triebe waren jetz auf den letzten Tag leider unter der Last der dicken Buds zusammengebrochen, nich so schlimm sollte eh heute geerntet werden. Ansonsten top, bin sehr zufrieden.

The plant has grown really beautifully. The training and pruning have been handled without any issues, and the bending of the shoots during the flowering phase has allowed it to continue growing unfazed. The buds are strong, compact, and saturated with trichomes.
