Pink Gelato

Pink Gelato produced a beautiful phenotype with a more indica-leaning structure. She showed strong vigor, remained robust throughout the grow and recovered well from the challenges along the way. Compared to the RS11, her stretch was slightly more compact, making her easy to manage. Sharing a 70 × 70 cm tent with such a vigorous neighbour meant she had a little less room to spread out, but she still produced gorgeous, thick flowers with an exceptionally dense and compact structure. Some buds even developed beautiful reddish to pink hues, giving her outstanding visual appeal. Combined with the heavy trichome coverage, she's an absolute eye-catcher. The aroma is rich and intensely fruity, with the classic creamy Gelato notes taking center stage. Looking back, growing both genetics together in the same small tent may not have been the ideal combination, simply because these two individual phenotypes developed quite differently. Different phenotypes of the same strain can vary just as much, so this shouldn't be seen as a characteristic of the genetics as a whole. Despite that, I'm more than satisfied with the outcome and would happily grow them together again. I'm very excited to see how the aromas and flavors evolve during curing. Wow Kannabia, this is a wild one Pink Gelato is easy to grow with a huge ressitance. 9 weeks Flower with excellent yield and easy trim work Sugar Leaves started to Purple , so Winter growth should be pink aswell with my Phenotype The Smell is Sweet with a decent end . Which is outstanding but i cant describe

Pink Gelato zeigt sich schon beim ersten Kontakt als sehr dessert-lastige Sorte. Direkt nach dem Öffnen steigt ein cremig-süßer Geruch auf, der stark an Vanille-Gelato und leicht karamellisierte Sahne erinnert. Dahinter liegt jedoch eine deutlich wahrnehmbare erdige Kush-Basis – nicht scharf, sondern warm und schwer. Die Süße wirkt dadurch nicht künstlich, sondern rund und „reif“. Beim Zerdrücken verstärkt sich diese Mischung: cremige Süße vorne, im Hintergrund feuchte Erde, etwas Holz und ein minimal harziger Touch. Im Grinder entwickelt sich das Aroma weiter. Die Süße wird tiefer und bekommt eine leicht nussige Richtung, während die Erdigkeit stärker hervorkommt. Es riecht dann fast wie süßes Gebäck auf einer Holzarbeitsplatte – genau dieser Gelato-Charakter mit bodenständigem Unterton. Der Rauch selbst ist überraschend weich. Beim ersten Zug kommt sofort die cremige Gelato-Note durch: süß, sahnig und leicht vanillig. Auf der Zunge wirkt der Rauch dick und ölig, fast schon „butterig“. Beim Ausatmen folgt die zweite Ebene: erdig, leicht hashig, mit einem trockenen Waldboden-Finish. Im Nachgeschmack bleibt lange eine Mischung aus Dessertcreme und warmem Holz zurück. Die Wirkung setzt relativ schnell ein. Zuerst ein kurzes, mildes Kopfgefühl – die Gedanken werden ruhiger, nicht unbedingt euphorisch, sondern eher angenehm gelöst. Nach wenigen Minuten beginnt der eigentliche Charakter: eine deutlich körperliche Entspannung. Schultern, Nacken und Rücken werden spürbar locker. Die Muskeln fühlen sich warm an, fast schwer. Genau hier zeigt sich die Stärke: man wird nicht sofort müde, aber sehr ruhig. Mit steigender Wirkung baut sich ein klassischer Couch-Lock auf. Bewegung ist noch möglich, aber der Körper möchte nicht mehr. Man sinkt regelrecht in Sitzmöbel hinein, Gespräche werden langsamer und entspannter. Perfekt für abends, Serien schauen oder ruhiges Zusammensitzen. Der Kopf bleibt klar genug für Unterhaltung, aber die Motivation für Aktivität verschwindet deutlich. Später kommt eine angenehme Müdigkeit dazu. Die Blüten wirken kompakt und gedrungen aufgebaut. Die einzelnen Kelche sitzen dicht übereinander und formen eine eher blockige, schwere Struktur statt luftiger Sativa-Form. Beim Drücken geben sie minimal nach, kehren aber sofort zurück – ein Zeichen für gute Restfeuchte und Harzanteil. Die Oberfläche ist stark überzogen mit Harzdrüsen, wodurch ein fast kristalliner Schimmer entsteht. Zwischen den Kelchen verlaufen viele ineinander verschlungene Zuckerblätter, die eng anliegen und teilweise eingezogen sind. Dadurch wirkt die Blüte sehr „verwachsen“ und massiv. Auffällig ist außerdem: kaum große Hohlräume im Inneren eher schweres Gewicht für die Größe harzige, leicht klebrige Außenschicht beim Aufbrechen reißt die Blüte faserig statt zu zerbröseln Das spricht für eine genetisch indica-dominante Struktur und eine späte Reifephase mit gut entwickelten Trichomen.

Pink Gelato impressed with a compact, sturdy structure and dense, vividly colored flowers that developed sweet, candy-like aromas throughout the run. During the selection process, several remarkable phenotypes emerged, ranging from high-yielding structures to intensely expressive terpene profiles. The best phenos showcased creamy, fruity notes paired with heavy resin production and subtle purple accents. In the end, only a few exceptional Pink Gelato phenotypes were kept for future cycles due to their outstanding combination of structure, aroma, and resin quality.

I have already put this strain on my favorites list It grew perfectly with a great shape even though it stayed on the small side it weighs the same as some of my much larger plants. The buds not only look great they are rock solid n covered in trichomes (sticky icky) and smell oh so good my best description would be like a lemonade float. It's just a guess because I've never heard of a lemonade float but that is definitely what I'm smelling

Also Pinky is auch geerntet, 545g vorgetrimmt im ganzen. Soweit alles ok, Triebe waren jetz auf den letzten Tag leider unter der Last der dicken Buds zusammengebrochen, nich so schlimm sollte eh heute geerntet werden. Ansonsten top, bin sehr zufrieden.

Easy to grow but this girl liked to stretch

Extremely easy to grow cultivar. Extremely resistant to the environment. Makes huge and dense colas so keep airflow up.

Beautiful colours and some of the stickiest I’ve ever grown , very decent weight on the buds and tastes sensation

The plant has grown really beautifully. The training and pruning have been handled without any issues, and the bending of the shoots during the flowering phase has allowed it to continue growing unfazed. The buds are strong, compact, and saturated with trichomes.

Neben der fehlerreichen Oreoz ist sie ein Segen mit ihrem Ertrag aber die oreoz USA wäre genauso gut wenn nicht besser. Pink Gelato riecht so süß und scharf zu gleich das mein Neffe nur vom Geruch high wurde er dachte wirklich das wird in High machen er ist kein kiffer.

La Pink Gelato es una auténtica delicia desde que empieza a florecer, con un aroma que mezcla notas cremosas y dulzonas, como a helado de frutos del bosque con un fondo floral súper fino. Al tocar los cogollos ya deja en los dedos un perfume empalagoso, como chuches ácidas con un toque de lavanda. Al fumarla es suave, envolvente, con un sabor entre frutos rojos, galleta y un puntito mentolado que refresca al final. Es de esas genéticas que da gusto oler, probar y repetir sin cansarse

La cepa es visualmente espectacular, sobre todo si pasa algo de frío controlado. Las flores se vuelven rosas sobre hojas moradas tirando a negro. Fotográficamente hablando, la mejor con diferencia. Detecto dos fenotipos: Uno más compacto, resinado y totalmente rosa (el más cañero). Y otro, mas aireado, menos resinado y con pistilos blancos (el más bonito).
