Royal Queen Seeds Fat Banana Automatic

QueenOfTheKind Transplanted her to 5 gallon air pot filled with Purple Cow IndiCanja living soil. Moved her to Auto room under Maxsisun PB 4000 on 20/4 light cycle. I got domes to put over them after transplant. I think it helped her to adjust faster. I started her on nutrients.

QueenOfTheKind I removed her dome. I don’t think she needs it anymore. I gave her a good watering the next day. She’s growing like a little weed. Starting to grow up instead of out.

QueenOfTheKind She’s starting to really grow now. She’s definitely bigger every day. Her leaves are tremendous. Hopefully that’s a good sign.

QueenOfTheKind I clipped her 4 tremendous fan leaves. She’s looking great so far. She shot up a few inches overnight so it seems like she’s starting her stretch. I noticed signs of pre-flowering too so this should be the last veg week. She’s getting pretty tall!

QueenOfTheKind Her upper flowers are starting to grow while her lower bud sights are still developing. I think she’s going to be a big one. It’s amazing how quickly she’s growing! She looks different every day! I added some 90 degree trainers to spread out her branches. She seems to be showing her 20% sativa genetics, she’s so tall and lanky and her leaves are really thin when they first grow in.

QueenOfTheKind She’s starting to fill in with leaves while her buds are growing like crazy. All I can see on them are pistils everywhere. She gets visibly taller every day. Her flowers also get visibly bigger every day. Her flowers are filling in really nicely. I can’t believe how many pistils she has.

QueenOfTheKind She’s living up to her name. Her buds are getting bigger and frostier. She smells amazing. 👍🏻 We’ve started calling her the “telephone pole”. Lol

QueenOfTheKind She’s swelling up even more. She’s looking really good. She certainly is living up to her name! Her branches were starting to make me a bit nervous, they were flopping around a little too much for my liking, so I put in some branch supporters. Not the worst issue to be having I suppose. 🙂 It looks like she’s getting closer to being ready. Next week it’ll be time to take some microscope shots.

QueenOfTheKind She’s getting close but she’s not ready yet. I took some microscope shots and saw a couple of amber trichomes (although I’m not sure if they made it into any of the shots, it’s really difficult to take good micro shots!) but she’s not ready yet. She should be ready to harvest this weekend. Her buds are leaning over even with support.

QueenOfTheKind I checked her for harvest readiness and there’s not as much amber as I would like to see so I’ll let her go another week. I tied her main stem to the pot for support so she’s not the “leaning tower of banana” anymore. That’s one heavy main stem! Her main cola is still growing pretty actively. I’m waiting for the pistil growth to slow down before doing the next microscope check.

QueenOfTheKind She’s still actively growing pistils and fattening up her buds. She has some brown tips from me overwatering her a couple of times. She’s getting closer, new pistil production is slowing.

QueenOfTheKind I chopped her and hung her up to dry. Wet weight was 712.71 grams, her main cola was 107.0 grams. My best yield so far! I’ll probably start trimming in about 5 days. I’m not sure how long it will take me to trim but I’m going to try to be faster this time. Finally finished. 5.5 ounces total. Highest yield so far, by almost double. Good trending.
