I have been so anxious to start these babies after my very first grow ever is just coming to harvest. I am amazed at how well my two Blue Dreams did on my first attempt that I have tremendous hopes for these girls. I have 1 Chocolope, 1 Girl Scout Cookies, 1 Chaquita Banana, and 1 Blue Cheese Auto Fem. Honestly I have very little knowledge of this but have fallen into a rabbit hole on the internet lately learning everything I can. I had no clue cultivation could be so fun, exciting, and interesting. I am totally addicted to the grow now! *End of week UPDATE! - So I think I messed up with the humidity dome over my pots cause when my Chaquita Banana popped up it began wilting and turning brown soon after plus it came up in the dark or right before my light went out over night. I took all the bags off the pots and put them in direct sunlight and within the day my banana was recovering nicely and my Girl Scout Cookies and Chocolope started showing signs of life. Next day those three are looking stronger but I may have killed my Blue Cheese Auto Fem cause she's no where to be seen yet. Gonna give her a few more days but if not it was definitely my fault cause my buddy got one from me and his came up no problem. oh well, the joy of learning huh, I got three more to learn some more with, lol. *Update again, so I dug out my Blue Cheese Auto Fem that wasn't showing life yet and placed it into a cup of water and will watch it the next couple days and hope for the best. Again my fault, not the seed, I'm still learnin' here and it's ok.

So I'm still tryin to save the Blue Cheese Fem Autoflower and even started a new one two days ago in case this one doesn't germinate. The other three came in and look really good, especially the chaquita banana since it had wilted in the very first day of its life because i had it in a bag and no light on when it sprouted (oops). So far I'm happy with the progress. I have to move them and my light in and out of a tent to closet everyday and night because I have some blue dreams flowering right now and they have to share the light. Its gonna get crowded here for sure pretty soon, especially since I just started another blue dream and a gorilla glue I'm planning on trying my luck outdoors with since it's planting season now. I will do a separate outdoor journal for those girls. So fingers crossed on the two blue cheese autos I have germinating in a damp paper towel, I gave my friend one and he said his took a couple days longer than the others to germinate for him so I'm still hopeful.!

These three are looking good. I had to remove the Blue Cheese Auto Fem out of this grow because I'm still trying to germinate one. I am very pleased with these girls though. Only water for now. They share the tent and light with my two flowering blue dreams during the day then I put them in the closet and steal the light from the tent to keep these girls under a 22hr light schedule, may drop it back to 20hrs this week though. I plan on using the mainline method to try to control these girls since I did nothing on my first grow, I'm interested in seeing the difference in the end results. ***UPDATE*** End of the week and my soil finally arrived and they needed to go to a new home. I had about 1/4bag of coco loco left from my last grow and I ordered the ocean forest soil and am trying the mixture of the two. I found a lot of info about people trying this but they never would update later and tell how it went. That might be a bad sign... Anyway, I'm trying it for these three ladies. I know its gonna change the water schedule and feeding, I'm watching them daily so we'll see how it goes. I checked and was able to get the new soil to match the old soil at 7.5 ph. I know it's high but I' been workin on lowering it. ( my two blue dream's did amazing in a coco loco soil mistakenly PH'd at 7.5 the whole grow so I'm not too concerned for now. Not real sure what range this coco/soil mixture would prefer, that may throw this whole grow off, I don't know, but I'm enjoying this 'rabbit hole' of cultivation I have fallen into recently so if this don't work out, I'll try again. I am planning to put these girls outside for this summer grow season, will be my first outdoor grow. My tent is way too crowded for sure, I definitely need a bigger one or second whole system. Need to start puttin my pennies together I guess... Anyone have a good suggestion for a decent budget light in the 1000w range, I love this Viparspectra PAR 600T. I most likely will stick with the Viparspectra brand if I can unless anyone can change my mind on that. The one I have now Is amazing as far as I'm concerned (damn I hope I ain't jinxing it), no really its a great light I think, pullin double duty in both my 'bloom' tent during the day and then I move it into my 'veg' closet over night. I'm terrified of dropping it every night but it's so solidly made it'd probably survive it, but I don't wanna test it....

So this is the first time I have ever tried any type of "training" on a plant. I "topped" these girls two days after transplanting them and they never even flinched. The Chocolope is growing like a beast, she's gonna be big I think, the GSC and Chaquita Banana look really strong as well. My space is really crowded right now as I wait for my two Blue Dreams to finish up flowering I have to move these three girls and two more into a closet over night under just a veg light but 8hrs during the day they are stuffed into my 3x3 grow tent with two blooming Blue Dreams, nobodies happy about it, trust me...I keep two fans blowing around the room and the door to the tent open during this time as well to help keep things decent.

These girls are coming along nicely. I topped them last week and plan to tie and bend the branches down to get that even canopy. learned a lot from just jumping in and growing for the first time, now it's time to put some of the lessons I've learned into practice.

This being only my second grow, I'm now applying some of the stuff I learned from my first grow. I topped them last week and am tying and bending the branches down this week. This is the first time I have ever done any type of training or defoliating on plants and it is nerve-racking. It feels so wrong cutting all that beautiful growth off of my girls but I know it will pay off later. I broke two colas and had to remove one of them but was able to tape up the other one. Hopefully I didn't screw this up too bad. Flipped them to flower at the end of the week. I may be pushing it a little fast, we'll see...

The girls are looking fantastic even after all the abuse I have given them. I broke a third cola( that's two broken colas on the Chocolope), I left it in place and it seems to have recovered pretty well. It's starting to get pretty crowded in my lil tent but I should be able to get the two mature Blue Dreams out of there in 3 days then I'll be able to spread these three girls out and let them fill out the tent. So far the canopy is developing beautifully and the budding has begun. I have never trained plants before so I'm pretty pleased with how it's looking so far. Next week I will do another defoliation and some more training before the push to the end.

I had to move these girls out of the tent into the closet due to it being used to dry previous harvest. I put cages on them to help spread out the bud sites. Removed about 7 fan leaves blocking bud sites on them as well. I've never trained a plant before but so far it's looking good to me.

The girls are doing great! After harvesting my 1st crop I moved these 3 into the grow tent alone. I bent some leaf and cut a few so all my bud sites are fully exposed. Haven't had to take too many leafs off. I an watering every other day and giving nutes every other watering. I really think these are going to be amazing at the end. No issues have come up thus far. I also added an air-conditioner to my set up and now am able to keep temps under control. Thanks for checking out my grow. I have 3 more grows in different phases going on right now too so I'll try to keep this updated regularly.

Apologies for lack of updates, I have 4 different grows going in different locations on different schedules. When I love to do something I tend to over due it a lil...anyways... These girls are beautiful. Look at the double head bud on the GSC! I have basically followed a regular schedule feeding with them adding in beastie bloom in weeks 10 & 11. The Chocolope is starting to 'blush' and smells amazingly fruity. According to weedseedsexpress.com recommendations the GSC has 1 week left and the Chaquita Banana & Chocolope have 2 weeks. I plan to start a 2 week flush on them on those dates and let them finish. I really haven't had any issues to deal with after adding an a/c into my environment. Temps stay between 70 & 83 w/ humidity ranging from 40 - 65. I have 17 other ladies I'm caring for but will update here again in a week. Thanks for checking out my grow. Stay safe

Everything see to be fine as they come to their end. The GSC starts a 2 weeks flush today followed by the ChqBan & Choc a week later. Trichomes are beginning to turn and they are taking on an amazingly fruity smell. Thanks for checking out my grow.

I unfortunately had major fluctuations in my temps & humidity which stressed my Chaquita Banana into a hermie. I had to harvest early but I am blown away at the potency I was still able to achieve. It's an amazing strain and quality genetics in my amateur opinion.

She hermied on me because of heat & humidity stress. I harvested about a week early. The potency is still really good so I'm not complaining.

Wow, it really tastes like cookie dough! Had to pull it a week early due to the Chaquita Banana going hermit on me. It did get fertilized but it's still some of the strongest I've ever had. I had to clean my trimmers twice when trimming it as well. It is super sticky and tastes so good.
