Week 1. Damp Paper towel method for germination. This time, first time for me, I may have overwatered it, but it seems that the seed handled it find. Popped her tail at right around the 48hr mark.
From there, she was moved over to her rapid rooter knockoff starter cube. Almost the same as the name brand, but a lot more for a lot less.
Plans for this grow are to Mainline to 8 Nodes
As she continues her first week, 1 of her 2 starter leaves appeared to die off prematurely. I am not sure if there was a problem when she came out of the shell, but it has been a slow week.
Her tap root has popped out of the rooter, so she will soon be moved to my veg tent into her netted pot. Here, she will spend the next 3 months or so being loved, chopped, loved, twisted, chopped a couple more times, and tied up a bit, but it will all be out of love.
Thanks to a little hard work, starting during her first veg week and hopefully going right through to harvest, we will have TIME LAPSE video of all her glory. I had one camera set up, but it was in use on my other grow. I got another one going today, so both plants will have their own dedicated shots.
Oh noooo! Sorry to hear about the male parts and seeds issue. Its so crappy when you put so much time and effort into a plant just to cut it down later with no benefits. I to had issues in the past with this, turned out to be my lights and a light leak that was the culprit. I'm not 100% on this but I believe the pistols will turn brown upon fertilization, and it looks like they are still mostly white on the Pink Lemonade! Best of luck to you and the remaining plant! Keep it green friend.
@Thundrfuk,
Thanks, it was a disappointment to see all that time go to seed. BUT, as you stated, on the bright side, it does appears that Pink has made it past the concern point. From what I have seen as well, and what I saw with Cotton, the hairs do turn earlier when fertilized.
Thanks again for sharing... You basically grow the same way as me, same strain and nutrients. Really helping me judge things better for my tiny grow room! Thanks and you are doing a great job! Keep it up.👊
@DoDrugs420, I have sampled it a couple times during cure. It keeps getting better and better. The Citrus flavors have really come out. So glad I did this grow. Gonna have to do it again SOON.
@MonroeGrow, Myself, I have actually been using Flora products since my first grow. I originally started with the 3 product system Micro, Gro, and Bloom, however after a few years I read up about Lucas Formula, using only Micro and Bloom and have been doing that since. The only change is I have added Big Bud and Bud Candy in for this grow for the first time, as well as a Co2 bag.
