Week 1. Damp Paper towel method for germination. This time, first time for me, I may have overwatered it, but it seems that the seed handled it find. Popped her tail at right around the 48hr mark. From there, she was moved over to her rapid rooter knockoff starter cube. Almost the same as the name brand, but a lot more for a lot less. Plans for this grow are to Mainline to 8 Nodes As she continues her first week, 1 of her 2 starter leaves appeared to die off prematurely. I am not sure if there was a problem when she came out of the shell, but it has been a slow week. Her tap root has popped out of the rooter, so she will soon be moved to my veg tent into her netted pot. Here, she will spend the next 3 months or so being loved, chopped, loved, twisted, chopped a couple more times, and tied up a bit, but it will all be out of love. Thanks to a little hard work, starting during her first veg week and hopefully going right through to harvest, we will have TIME LAPSE video of all her glory. I had one camera set up, but it was in use on my other grow. I got another one going today, so both plants will have their own dedicated shots.

Okay, so interesting week all around for both myself and this plant. First off, apologies for the limited pics this week. A lot of time was spent on another plant, but going forward, you should see an improvement. Second off, more apologies. This time, for the time-lapse video. It appears a bit jumpy during the first period as I was getting it properly configured, before bumping it out of position. I also realized I could zoom in with it. Now, on to Pink Lemonade. Its been an interesting start with this lass. Possibly I moved her over a hair early to her final home, or I somehow caused her some stress, but the week started off slow. But that all changed as the week went on, and she quickly produced her 2nd, and now 3rd nodes. From what I have seen, this plant, at least thus far, seems to stress easily, but once she comes back, she comes back with a vengeance. For those wondering what my intents with this young lady are, I plan to top her at least once, possibly twice, but no more than that. This grow is more about quality than quantity, and even though I should not lose quality by having more, I am also attempted to have this completed by a specific date. I would like to be harvesting this young one for beginning of sept. As per the seed company, she has a flower time of 8 - 8.5 weeks. Pretty tight time frame. We will find out how accurate it is. Pretty much 2 months exactly. That leaves me approximately 10 - 11 weeks to work with the plant, but as I have never grown this strain, I may move her to the bloom tent sooner. Also dependent on how fast she grows upwards as well. Until next week, keep on growing.

Well, this slow started lady has started to take off. Any concerns about her slow start are gone. Root system is extending nicely into her new home, She is not drinking a ton, but that is of no surprise at this age. I can confirm, I did start her off a little low in her net pot, but next week, when she gets topped, I will be able to add some extra clay pellets for stability.

Excellent week again for this young lady. She has grown heavily, and her 5th node is up and spreading its leaves. What this means is, yup. She got topped. Roots are looking good, and this also gives me a change to do a bit of pruning. Also allowed me to top of the clay pebbles, as I definitely started her a little low in the netted pot.

Another wonderful week. Recovery from the topping has been superb. She has grown quite a lot. As of 5/2/21 she will be leaving the veg tent and moving to the bloom tent where she will spend the next 8.5 weeks with another plant, Cotton Candy. The tent received an upgrade to a third TS1000 for the 2 plants. Hope is enough for now.

So this little lady has been moved into the flowering tent this week. She received a bit of a trim when coming over as she was a little heavy on the bottom end, but she cleaned up nicely and kept growing the whole week. If she was stunted, it was for the first day only. Humidity monitoring has been re-established and the humidifier is working nicely. Holding an average of about 45%. A Little lower during the dark hours but that is understandable. I am just happy the tank last 24 hours so I don't have to do multiple fills. Next addition will be a CO2 Monitor to give me an idea of how much the Co2 bags are adding me. Unfortunately that is not a cheap purchase.

Well, we had another wonderful week. This plant is holding up well to the nutrient schedule I am using. She has just completed her 2nd of approximately 8 weeks of flower time. 1/4 of the way through. Buds are starting to form, and I imagine by the end of next week they will be looking much nicer. Roots are looking gorgeous. Will add another photo of them in next weeks update. But 7" of growth in 1 week is wonderful, and I am very happy thus far with this strain. This is my first grow with a lot of changes to my setup. New lights (mars TS1000's x 3 for Flower and 1 for Veg ), Added Big Bud and Bud Candy to the Nutrient schedule, and added the Co2 bags to the tent as well. All in all, no complaints thus far.

So its been a good week with Pink Lemonade. We had an extensive heat wave this week, and the tent reached over 30 degrees Celsius even with the grow room being air conditioned. We have worked and managed to get it back down to 27. She was not happy with the 31 and wilting was noticable. As soon as we got under 28 for a period, she returned to her normal lively self. Pink Lemonade will be receiving her final defoliation next week. Make sure all the bud sites get good light. She has a lot of large fan leaves that will be coming off. Hopefully this will assist with Temp and Humidity in the tent. We are 5 weeks from harvest at this point as per the breeder, so we will see. She has finally stopped the majority of her upward growth which is good. Lights are at their max. Cheers all, happy growing.

So here were are. A little late on the update, but still going extremely well. We had a high heat day this week. High humidity as well. Tent got way out of control, and the plant did not appreciate hitting 32c with a 70RH. Plant looked like she wanted to die. But she thrived. I did NOT take any pictures of this out of pure shame for allowing it to happen. Recovery was good, once I got the room under control. Within 24hrs everything was normalized. Expect another week or two to be added today. Sorry for delays, will try to keep things more steady going forward.

So we had a serious scare over the last week, and concerns are still abound. Pink Lemonade shares the Flower Tent with Cotton Candy Currently. Somewhere, Cotton produced a total of 5 pollen sacks that all opened before I found them. MAJOR ANNOYANCE. Cotton is COVERED with seeds below the main crowns. Pink Lemonade, I cannot find any signs she got pollenated. Fingers crossed, no seeds show up going forward, but from what I can see, no issues as of yet. Normally, I would have pulled any plant showing male signs, but I did not see these empty spore pods until AFTER I found seeds. Cotton is 2 weeks ahead of Pink. Fingers crossed, Pink was not fertile at the time it occurred. I am too far into these grows to kill them off, and would rather a few seeds for future grows.

Well it appears the goddess Potina is smiling upon my little lady here. Not only did she avoid pollination, she is getting very solid buds forming with a lot of gorgeous looking crystals forming on her. At this point, following the breeders timeline, I should be expecting to harvest her on or around the 27th of the month. This is the first time I have grown 34 Street Seed Co. Seeds, but am impressed so far. We will see if their estimations are as nice as their plant has been so far. At this time, the thrichomes appear to be getting nice and cloudy, however no ambers have been spotted at this time. I am building a brand new drying box for her, AC Infinity fan with Temp and Humidity configurations. I have always have poor luck drying, and want to get this grow right.

Oh this lady is beginning to get a very sweet citrus odour that does remind me of pink lemonade. And she is getting big. Couple of the branches have now required support. While stringing her up, my arm brushed a branch and all the hairs stuck together for a good while. God she is getting crystals everywhere. If I follow breeders timeline, she has 1 more week till harvest. Looking at the pics, very cloudy, but have yet to see any ambers appear. Once they start(5%-10%), she is coming down. My guess, the 1 more week is accurate.

So folks, we are slowly coming to an end of this journal. As of writing this, I am also in preparation of her Harvest week. The next update will be of her harvest, and of all final totals. She will be entering a new dry box today, and aiming for a 10-14 day Dry, followed by an additional 3 - 4 weeks of curing time. This has been a wonderful grow. I would like to thank the good folks at 34StreetSeedsCo for a wonderful genetic. I am extremely surprised at how accurate their harvest timelines were to when she actually needed to come down. 1 Day variance is WONDERFUKL. She has ended the week smelling exactly as her name, like Pink Lemonade. She is sticky as hell. She touched my arm hairs yesterday. Took so much effort to clean off, I have a bald spot on my arm. Thanks for joining, stay tuned for the final harvest update, and my next journal to be started next week. Blueberry.

Growing this strain was a complete joy. Even when I thought I had stressed her out too much during a heat wave, she recovered wonderfully, and produced some nice tight buds. This strain will be a regular in my grow rotations going forward. The lineage is just what I need in my bud. Thank you 34 Street Seed Company for a wonderful strain.
