Starting another organic run. First orgo run is doing fantastic, I’d like to try to repeat my steps and hone my skills a bit more with this gorilla glue auto run.
Did a direct sow into substrate, covered with water bottle halves, light is at ~36” and 25% intensity. Will circle back to populate germ date after these ladies emerge.
I added a few pics of medium that I found very strange and have never encountered before...there was a mass of seedlings (not cannabis) growing in the sealed bag! Had to have happened at the manufacturer? Anyone ever see this before? No strange odor, seemed otherwise normal. I screened them out and drove on...hopefully there’s no issue. I think it’ll be fine.
And so I embark on another grow-venture!
Thanks!
They are getting there, I love the organic style of growing, but getting a new style dialed in has its challenges…each one better than the last I suppose. Thanks!!
I guess anything is possible, but from what I have seen it doesn’t seem to bother the plant at all. Some of the zkittlez plants I did previously had corkscrew leaves on new growth, they eventually straightened out. I’m hoping the same happens here, but if not, I’m not concerned. In general one bad leaf shouldn’t make or break this run. I hope. Thanks!!
Interesting re: the seeds. I have been reading on germinating wheat or barley seeds and killing them off as soon as they sprout by blitzing them in a blender. The solution apparently is rich in enzymatic activity and glucoses that ameliorate soil. Though I doubt that was the idea from your soil supplier.
Yeah man, this was a first for sure. Interesting thought you have, anything is plausible. The only other explanation I could come to was that a mouse got in there and started storing bird seed. Meh, whatever the cause, didn’t seem to cause an issue. It was a risk, but I had seeds ready to go and didn’t want to waste them.
Looking good and progressing very nicely !! Good luck with the grow !
Please feel free to check out/show love on some of my recent grows (Tropicana cookiez/Venom OG/Banana Mango )
Also… I have a lots of growing tips on my profile page (comments section)
