The GG’s are def in pre-flower, the NL’s are popping little baby pistils left and right.
These plants, I’m guessing more the GG, are quite odorous. I don’t mind, but just a little FYI for anyone wanting to grow these girls. It’s quite obvious in hall outside of my veg room. I may be flipping on that carbon filter very soon…I don’t typically run it unless plants are pungent.
I top dressed all 4 girls with 3 tbsp of 2-8-4 all purpose from Gaia green, and 1 tbsp of bat guano. I broke up surface 1/2 inch or so, applied over entire surface area, mixed in and watered. I also added some great white, 1/2 tsp/gal H2O, as I neglected to do this last run. I’ll add another round of myco in a couple weeks with next top dress.
I continued with LST and did some minor pruning to expose blocked bud sites. Some of the NL fan leaves were absolutely massive…and a few had 9 finger leaves which I think is cool every time I see it. The rudies usually have 7, so it’s that mix of other genetics coming through…I dig it.
I increased light intensity to about 60-65%, I’ll cont with LST, and will give first bloom based tea next week.
I’m sure I’m forgetting a bunch of things. Man this girls exploded with growth huh?
Thanks!
They are getting there, I love the organic style of growing, but getting a new style dialed in has its challenges…each one better than the last I suppose. Thanks!!
I guess anything is possible, but from what I have seen it doesn’t seem to bother the plant at all. Some of the zkittlez plants I did previously had corkscrew leaves on new growth, they eventually straightened out. I’m hoping the same happens here, but if not, I’m not concerned. In general one bad leaf shouldn’t make or break this run. I hope. Thanks!!
Interesting re: the seeds. I have been reading on germinating wheat or barley seeds and killing them off as soon as they sprout by blitzing them in a blender. The solution apparently is rich in enzymatic activity and glucoses that ameliorate soil. Though I doubt that was the idea from your soil supplier.
Yeah man, this was a first for sure. Interesting thought you have, anything is plausible. The only other explanation I could come to was that a mouse got in there and started storing bird seed. Meh, whatever the cause, didn’t seem to cause an issue. It was a risk, but I had seeds ready to go and didn’t want to waste them.
Looking good and progressing very nicely !! Good luck with the grow !
Please feel free to check out/show love on some of my recent grows (Tropicana cookiez/Venom OG/Banana Mango )
