planted it pretty early, taproot was not much longer than this. Sprouted a day or two later. First time growing since maybe getting a sprout to live for about a week back in high school.
was ghetto growing until I got a tent and light, plant was def under a lot of stress from crap lights I could find around my house when there was no sunlight
Finally got it in the tent, growth seems better. Straightened up a bit. Have it in the sun whenever it is a nice day for a couple hours right when lights are suppose to go back on.
This week I transplanted to a 3 gallon fabric. Everything seems to be going well, no shock from what I saw. Started using a little bit of big bloom. Going to keep topping the soil I think. I'm one of those people that don't fill pots all the way for whatever reason.
This week I trained my plants using pegs, probably go with strings next time. I also think I pulled them a bit too close to the soil so I let a few go a bit to grow up more. I noticed marks on the leaves of my bagseed plant about a week ago. I knew I had a small gnat problem probably from overwatering a little bit after I transplanted. Couldn't figure out what was causing the marks because I have not seen any critters other than the small amount of fungus gnats. Caught something in my fly trap today that I set up the other day, it's only caught 2 things, a gnat and whatever else this is. I have used a bunch of random remedies for the gnats and bought some neem oil at home depot the other day, going to start spraying all my babies.
Other than that things seem ok maybe a bit small but I'm still figuring out how to keep light to the lower nodes. They are taking quite some time to develop longer branches. Every pull I did the main stem would make or adjust its large fan leaves over the nodes. Think I might let the main stem grow a little taller for a day or two and try to fix it later. Also had it pulled so low that a leaf was touching soil. Watered the plant before bed one night and woke up to a shriveled leaf. You live you learn.
Starting to smell a bit..
Not much new going on. Gnats are still a problem. Sprayed with home depot neem oil soil/plant and no results really. Also left stains on my plants. They seem to leave my fabric pot alone so probably use those from now on. Getting this one ready to be put outside for the season. My autos inside are about to hit day 30 as well, so starting to give it a little sunlight every day plus letting it sleep more and more.
Thinking of transplanting to a huge pot to see how it goes. Not sure if ill be moving before next outdoor season so want to try some things this year.
been trying to get this thing outside all week, dropped light hours a bit before doing so. New England weather tricked me into thinking it was going to be warm, then had a cold rainy week.
More veg... don't see a way to switch this to an outdoor diary since this plant is fully outdoors now.
Assume this is better than a clone for the start of the season? :)
Parts seem to be shaped as female but have not seen any hairs or anything? Praying its a girl after all this time..
getting close to 3 months veg, only troubles are animals eating my plant now. Its eaten about 5 tops ever since I put it outside a couple months ago. Sacrificing some direct sunlight by 2/3 hours by leaving it on the deck until I come up with something..
@Inganjawetrust, was thinking of that.. but want to have 12 up and going for the rest of summer. Not trying to blow a ton of money since im not sure if ill be at this house next year. Will look into that a little more when I have time though thank you.
