Would love to know if we are on target as this is the first grow. Are we feeding too much? Not enough? Should they be further along?

They may be slightly overwatered. Everything else looks fine and if they are behind a bit, it's not by much.

Noticed a bit of curling in the leaves and some spots thinking its windburn. We have repositioned the oscillating fan and waiting to see if that will help. There also seems to be a bit of discoloration on the Skywalker Haze, not sure what’s happening there.

Started ponytailing both Banana’s to get light to her lower buds for 6 hours at a time. Did more LST to the branches and main stem removed a few leaves and tucking what can be tucked. The bananas appear to both be in pre flower and they are all handling LST very well.

Just wondering if anyone has pony tailed and for how long you do it at a time? Do you find it helps with yield? Also how often do you adjust your LST? Do we appear to be on target?

I have never done pony tailing though it looks to be a good way of lst auto flower plants as I would assume it does not stress the top in anyway so I wouldnt think it would slow her down but I have never tried it or heard of it until this post I will admit I may do this to my autos lol thanks for bringing it to my attention haha

Stop Caterpillars From Attacking Your Cannabis! Caterpillars!!! Argh!!! Sometimes the first sign of caterpillars / worms / cabbage loopers is just seeing chunks of your leaves missing. You may also see clumps of black/brown “dirt” on your leaves, which is caterpillar poop. Lastly, you may actually catch a caterpillar munching on your leaves. It can be so angering to catch them in the act!

Changed watering to every 5 days water until runoff they seem to enjoy it. Signs of Thrips I believe so sprayed them with neem type spray hoping that does the job. Continued with LST and ponytailing. Defoliated a very small amount. Hoping that both Banana’s go into flower next week.

We have treated for Thrips. All are in flower but #1 is about a week ahead of the others. Banana #2 seems to have some curling of the leaves which is a bit concerning and not sure what’s causing it. PH is between 6.0 and 6.5. Watering to run off which is about 3 liters every 4th day or when pots are light. Feeding every other water. If anyone has any ideas about Banana #2 we would welcome any advice.

Can someone please tell me what’s happening with my ladies??? Is this Cal/Mag deficiency? One of the plants has this curling of the leaves and one has these yellow veins and spots. I thought the curling was too much nitrogen so have only given water for the last too waters.

Personally I would throw some epsom salts and a bit of calcium, maybe something semi-general like a bit of molasses at it. But it also looks like it is a watering/internal pressure issue.

Hi mate, that looks like ph issues. Make sue your PH is around 6-6.5 for soil. Maybe adding a little gypsum will stabilise it. Good luck and happy growing

All the plants are doing well. Banana #1 is definitely ahead of the others in her flower but the other two are coming along these are all taken on day 48. They are averaging a growth of 2 cm a day in growth. We have changed them the last two weeks to 18/6 lighting and it seems to be helping them in general. The last two watering they received no food as we felt we had been giving them too much nutrients and wanted to give them a wee break. They will be fed tomorrow. Still not sure what the yellow spots on the leaves are but I think it’s something to do with the nutrients they received, I had thought it was lack of Cal/Mag but no one else thought so. They have never been given Cal/Mag before.

All plants looking good. The Flower nodes are getting closer. They are getting watered about every 4 days depending if the pots are light. When watered they are taking about 4 1/2 liters until there is any run of.

Both plants are looking good. Trichomes still not completely cloudy but giving nothing but PH water so that as soon as trichomes are right they can be harvested.

Not a great yielding plant bit this being our first grow I’m not surprised. I think we initially overwatered and stunted her yield but lessons learned. We also overfed her initially as we fed with every water at full amount recommended all these led to a small yield with a lot of popcorn. She’s still drying so will update dry weight when done. On day 94.

She started much slower then Banana Blaze but she really took off!!!! Her bud structure was much better than Banana Blaze. Haven’t tried her yet as she is still drying so will have to update Gaste and dry weight.
