04/17/2021 - Got tent cleaned from last grow and ready to rock & roll. Planted 2 seeds about 7:30am ct. seeds in rapid root plugs in sohum living soils.
04/21/2021 - 1 of the 2 seeds broke through soil when I checked at 7am ct. at 445pm ct had started to lean/stretch in direction of window. Got both under the lights to avoid stretching. Lights are 16”. Both still in the mini greenhouse to keep humidity up a bit. Watered each 4 tablespoons of water.
04/23/2021 - 2nd seed broke on through. Maintaining my 100% success rate.
04/24/2021 - 2” & 1/2” as of 7am ct.
05/01/2021. Week 1. Got the ladies transplanted today. Were a bit root bound in the red solo cups but shouldn’t be an issue. Watered in with a gallon each and 15 ml Wholly Mackerel. Now we wait. Thinking an 8 or 10 week veg, while I’m intrigued by mainline technique - will probably top and scrog as I’m getting the hang of that.
Week 3. 05/15/2021. Big week ! Fed each lady a gallon of water that had 5ml CalMag & 10ml BioThrive Grow.
Plant #1 is about 7”. I must have damaged the top during transplanting as it seems topped.
Plant #2 is about 11”. Topped her.
Figured I’d try to make a clone with the topped portion but there wasn’t much plant so doubtful anything will take, but why not try. 😊
Added some LST this week.
5/22/2021 - week 4. Ladies are looking great. 5ml CalMag and 10ml BioThrive Grow were given to each today.
05/25/2021 - added scrog net at 25” from floor. Lights raised to 12” from top of net. Gently tucked the branches on one plant. Other plant has vertical growing to do still.
Week 9. 06/26/2021. Plants are looking healthy. Added some Fish Shit to the feeding, was given a free sample so figured why not. Sadly I over measured - gave 10ml per gallon and should have been 5. Hope no negative impact bc of my stupidity. Might buy some and follow the instructions on future grows. Did some light defoliation of stuff under the scrog net.
Week 11. 07/10/2021
Fed 5ml CalMag and 10ml BioThrive Bloom and 5ml Fish Shit. These ladies are still growing vertically! I underestimated the stretch here or this is partly from the addition of Fish Shit. Not having grown this strain leaves me without a baseline / prior info.
Week 14. Week 7 of flower. Fed 5ml CalMag and 10ml BioThrive Bloom and 5ml Fish Shit.
Probably should have gone water only as in the last day many branches bending from the weight of the flowers. Looks like I’ll flush em with water and probably harvest next weekend.
Overall things went well. Variable was the addition of Fish Shit which seemed to really kick ‘the stretch’ into high gear so the ladies got taller than expected. Ignore taste comments as the plants are drying and then need to cure.
@indoorontario, hey hey. Yes - plant on the left has two tops. I think I had accidentally topped while transplanting it few weeks back. Good eye on your part ! I’m not 100% on the RSVD - I thought it stood for reserved. I hadn’t heard of this seed bank before - they were at my hydro supply store one day so I took a gamble. Been very happy with their genetics. I’d recommend / say to give them a try. Nothing negative to say.
