I cut clones, I cut more than I'm going to need to be on the safe side. I ph'd water to 5.5 and dumped the cubes into the nutes/water solution following the feed chart instructions on Heavy 16. I used Clonex rooting gel and am using clonex mist following the instructions. Some of the clones are looking pretty shitty right now but lets see if they spring back, hope they will.

I started this seedling in an attempt to create a mother plant to cut clones, I paid a pretty penny for this seed pack so I figured I might as well get my moneys worth by cutting clones. I've never tried to grow a mother plant or cut clones but am getting a little more confident in my grow skills so hopefully this works. I germinated this seedling in rockwool cubes, which I had never used before. I used a heavily diluted nute solution of Heavy 16 nutes (Prime, Fire, Veg A and Veg B). I've stopped using nutes of any kind with the exception of King Crab and Orca by Plant Success, both of these are beneficial bacteria products. I'm not using nutes yet due to the fact that I'm using Roots Organics coco soil (Original) and from my current experience with my other plant it is already pretty loaded with nutes. I'll use nutes once I notice any sign of deficiency. The weather has been very dry and I'm running a humidifier 24/7 to try to raise it. Hopefully this mother grow goes well. I'll most likely end this diary once I get my first successful rooted clones.

This week was good. This little thing has been growing pretty rapidly. I'll probably start training within the next few weeks.

This little thing is growing FAST. This is only my 3rd grow but this is the fastest growing plant I've had yet. The main stalk is probably as thick as a sharpie. I topped a few days ago and am seeing the new growth reappear quickly. The fan leaves were getting big and in the way so I started gently bending the leaves to allow for the lower branches to catch up. Today I added wire to continue training. I also started adding some beneficial microbe products and Kelp I had laying around- Fish Sh!t, Kelp Me Kelp You, and Vermisterra earthworm tea concentrate. I dont know how often I plan on using all this stuff but will update accordingly.

Humidity has sucked. I cut my first clone around 4 days ago. I was moving around the plant yesterday and accidentally broke off a branch. I went ahead and put it in a cup to see if I can get some roots out of it.

I rooted my first clone ever a few weeks ago and gifted it. I threw up a scrog net to try to shape the plant, but now looking back I'm not sure if it's a good idea (I've never grown a mother plant). The pot is a little to small for this plant and its probably getting a bit root bound. I really only need to worry about this thing for a few weeks until I finish up my other grow and take cuts for myself and a few extras.

I felt my clones were rooted enough to plant. I planted in Fox Farms 70/30 coco. I think I might only veg ~30 days this time since I have 2 plants in here and because I ran out of vertical height super fast last time and I feel like my harvest suffered from being so close to the light. I'll be trying to not make the same mistakes I did last time.
