Well Iโve had some drooping and yellow coloring thatโs got me a bit worried but so far Iโm having a blast and learning a lot.
Think I had the light to close.
Probably need some nutrients soon.
Got it in fox farms ocean mix soil.
Yellowing and drooping getting worse. Iโm reading stress so I turned the light down and picked it up a few inches. Been giving them RO water every other morning. What do you guys think?
Hey there growmie. Imo it does appear to be a little too much water. And yes plants do like a little chlorine now and then . And also you mentioned that you use R.O water. That being said you might want to check for purpling or violet color on the leaves stems and new branchlets because R.O water has virtually zero dissolved minerals . Calcium and magnesium are filtered out . Also watch out for little rust colored spots on leaves. Hope that helps friend and as always happy growing.
Yo dude, I've grown a whole bunch of plants outdoor (between grass, dug out spots, pots, whatever) all through the year.
I just wanna tell you, if you can, clear some more space for that thing growing on the lawn there, and make like a little trench around it (maybe between 50-100cm radius away from the trunk), and then maybe place bricks or rocks or something in that to stop other roots from stealing space, nutrients, water (especially near the surface). Grass and vigorous weeds can really mess up/restrict growth by hogging space, nutrients and water.
Well, either that or transplant it, I guess? Unless it's just a novelty thing.
Cheers, best of luck.
@sir_isO, yes just a test to see which seed popping method works best.
Will be transplanting soon but thanks for the advice I love learning anything I can.
Good luck with your first grow! Enjoy every moment as the first run is special! ๐ For your seedling stretching out, I'd say that they want more light. You have a good and strong enough light and you are close enough. I guess you light is dim down? At what % your light is right now?
Looking good my friend. Mars hydro is awesome but keep an eye out for calmag deficiency. Quantum board LEDS are bad for calmag deficiency ๐ค๐ค. They droop when they are tired and ready for bed๐คฃ๐คฃ if they are looking happy the next morning then your good bro. And they should get sleepy around the same time everyday in veg
@EddyCoKush,ya they will droop alot in veg when they go to sleep. Are they back up and healthy when the light.comes back on?? Look up calmag deficiency and you can see how the leaves are a weird blotchy yellowish color. Hard to explain it but if you look at some pictures you will see it. I use 1ml per liter every time I water. Even mixed in with the nutrients. But I use bottle water and it has everything filtered out so I need more calmag because reverse osmosis water has nothing left in it. You should of got a tsw2000. It's square and not rectangular. Yours is good for a 2x4 tent. The tsw2000 is good for 3x3 or 4x4. I got mine in a 4x4 and it's enough light for them
@Rock_n_Roll_Randy, they are perking back up and staying just beautiful until about 3 or 4 hours before lights when they droop so bad they scare me.
Should I go ahead and add like 5 ml per gallon of cal mag to the nutrient feeding? Thanks for the info on the light I had no idea.
Hoping to upgrade the light for flower but might just end up adding a 100 watt Mars.
@WinstonLeWulf, yeah sorry Iโm realizing I uploaded these in backwards order mostly.
My bad.
Those were some pics I took before cutting the boys down and tossing them. But yes huge balls.
