Perpetual Grow

I'm so thankful they all sprouted! Pineapple express was the first by a whole day. Purple punch brought up the rear. You'll notice some white stuff on the soil. That's DE (diatomaceous earth food grade). I noticed a big jumping out of the soil. Grabbed it but it squished and I couldn't get a good ID. No other indicators of bugs but I wanted to make sure. I put DE down in all the pots in that tent. The green crack is close to the intake vent and lost a leaf so I put the humidity some back on it to protect her.

Got another set of leaves! Surprised at the resilience of the purple punch. It's had a hard start. It grew a really tiny tap root and sprouted early. It lost a leaf as soon as it developed em. So it's great to see it thriving. Mean while pineapple express in the middle is loving life and critical kush decided early on it wants to be a bush with it's large fan leaves. Haha

Prob gonna top em next week they are coming along nicely. Got a bit of a gnat problem but I'm dealing with it. Sticky tape and maybe a peroxide solution watering down the road. Prob just let them dry out a bit. Next top dress is scheduled for day 30 1/4 Dr earth flower girl and 1/8 cup garden house. Other girls in the tent smell of all berries version Capt crunch. Fantastic.

Topped all of them. Critical kush is still a bush. I bent over purple punch and pineapple express. I need to get more than 4 colas haha prob start super cropping after they grow out a bit.

Moved em all around to match the ppfd chart for the light. These ladies are now far right Runts pineapple express and green crack are now day ~65 These girls featured for this diary are day ~35. They just started flowering prob last week. I did a mild defoliation to open up the new sites. Tried some super cropping and LST to increase the bud site #s. Got a couple more growing in now. Very happy to see that. Added some flower nutes and extra potassium for flower. (4-6 teaspoons Langbeinite) Recently pollinated the green crack auto in the middle so hopefully I'll get some seeds! I also added a pic of my 2x3 with the photos on the 2-3 week flower and the two wedding cakes finishing up. Then this will be a breeding tent and finishing tent for autos that need more than 90 days maybe a couple small photos from time to time.

Defoliated a bit exposed some bud sites and tied some branches down. It's summer time in the PNW so I'm really worried about heat and humidity. right now the temps are great high 70s and 60-60%. but when temps peak in August it's gonna hurt. I switched the light cycles to night time. So I hope that helps. I'll probably take the drivers out of the tent here soon. I took these pictures prior to watering so have no fear the girls got a good drink. Found a single leaf miner on one of the plants. I removed the leaf and haven't noticed anything else. Oh so bonus pic the close up is of Green Crack by fast buds. I finally got pollen from my other reversed green crack and shook it violently over her. I see the bracts swelling and by day 4 the pistils are brown and receding. I think it worked! I hope I have a lot of seeds.

I had to super crop my runtz auto. light bleaching was starting to crop up and my green crack got a bit crisp. Luckily it wasn't too bad and I caught it in time. Gave them all a light defoliation and watered them. Their last round of nutrients won't be until end of June. Purple Punch will probably finish first judging by its current growth rate. I'm really excited to see how it pans out. It was naturally symmetrical in grow. All it took was a bend or two. Hoping for fat colas like you'd see in a mainline. 🤞😁🤞

Due to high humidity I set up a dehumidifier in the garage that's keeping it stable at 60 ish in the tent. So I think it's going to stay on. I'm really enjoying watching em flower. They are doing pretty well. No-issues so far. Purple Punch is getting frosty. I also included pics of my seeded green crack. It's great. So many seeds!

They are coming along nicely. I noted that one has started to show signs of N deficiency and so I top dressed with amended soil and added a dry amendment. She seems to be responding to it well. I plan on adding normal flower girl and langbeinite amendment this weekend. She seems to be a little bit of a heavy feeder by comparison so let's give the girl what she wants. Purple Punch, that frosty girl in the middle, has had no complaints since she popped. I love her so much hahaha. Aside from some benign neglect on my part (letting em dry out a bit) it's been rather nice. Pineapple Express is a true beauty. She is stretching and has excellent node spacing for my taste. 🍍 I also harvested the Runtz Auto by Barney farms and Northern Lights by Barney farms as well. Which I read somewhere it was discontinued. My harvest prior to this wedding cake auto by ILGM yielded a disappointing 4 oz from 4 plants. Grams/watt is disgustingly low. I think maybe more LST and moving on to Barney Farms genetics and more dutch passion. And getting control of my environment. That will be the biggest challenge. It may not be possible. I would note that I had a pretty severe phosphorous deficiency mid flower which definitely stunted growth. Autos having a set life span a deficiency like that can def affect yield and quality I have found out. Werek loli

Just had a great garden session. Plants are looking great. Critical kush is powering through her deficiency. Growing big and strong colas. Purple punch is starting to put in weight. Pineapple express is chugging along as well. Can't wait. The terps are really coming through. Prob the strongest I've had in a while. Very gassy pine spell. Purple punch is completely over powered.

Practiced some benign neglect and let the soil dry out late flower. Haven't watered in about 7 days. The plant were definitely droopy when I opened the tent but bounced back real quick after a drink. The reasoning for this is two fold. It's thought that late flower drought can induce higher trichrome and resin production. Secondly I have/had fungus gnats. If it's not one thing it's another. The mites are gone and thankfully after the two sprays I think I'm safe for now. The fungus gnats I feel exploded overnight. I always have one or two fly traps around because I see the odd gnat. Well there were dozens of them this time. So I got mosquito bits followed the directions and then let my substrate dry. Suffice to say I've only seen one or two today. So shout out to mosquito bits and neem oil Checked the trichromes of all of them I don't see any Amber yet but purple punch is all milky right now. She is definitely gonna be ready to chop here in a week or so. I moved the light up two clicks due to fox tailing on her tallest cola. Critical kush in the back right is still all clear trichromes and I feel like she maxed her girth. She doesn't seem to be stacking anymore. I don't plan on doing a supplemental feed at this stage. I'm going to let her finish up what nutes she has left. Her fade has started and I clipped away most of the dead leaves. Pineapple express has the same thing going on as the kush. Her fade started but trichs are all clear. She ain't as fat but def got some nice dense nugs. Hopefully ending the feed at day 60 will help with the terp and curing.

great bud. This is one of the first ones that didnt come out smelling like hay. I think the reason for that was luck. I defoliated these pretty heavily before drying. maybe its because the buds are smaller on these and they dried properly; unlike critical kush which had larger buds and was also wet trimmed. overall this purple punch was a great add. It was a very fast strain to grow and came out VERY frosty. will grow again and will definitely seed one. Happy I have three more to pop! Consumed some last night it was very body high focused. I think this strain helped me figure out what my drying issue was. I think I was over drying them. I have since cut my dry time to adjust to my environment. Instead of going off branch snap I go by touch. If bud is dry to touch I am gonna start it's cure. This was just great bud all around. No lingering taste, fruity with some citrus notes. Smell is gassy and FILLS THE ROOM as soon as you open the jar. Absolutely pungent. The flavors are mild and smooth. High is very body focused. I consumed about 2-3 bowls (~.5 gram bowl) from 11-8pm Saturday by the last one I had settled into a DEEP sleep state. I was falling asleep waiting for Minecraft to download. Lol before that though I was very active cleaning the house did some dishes made some dinner etc.

Just waiting on the world to change it seems. They just won't ripen. Critical kush is still mix of clear and cloudy trichromes. Pineapple express is mostly clear still.

very generic high. unfortunately I think I dried this too quickly. I have recently harvested my photo period laughing buddha and preserved most of the leaves for a slower drying process. I am just wrecked. I am so disappointed in myself lol The terps were GREAT on these beauty so chunky too. sweet earthy incense. too bad i botched it at the finish line haha still usable though will probably turn to hash and flower evenly.

unfortunately this one has also suffered at my hands. the buds dried better generally but most of the terps are gone. I get citrus and thats it. The generic high is on me. Just really bummed but I am learning and have increased my attention to my drying and curing process. If you have suggestions let me know in the comments :) I dry in a spare room with a desk fan. it tends to run at max temp/humidity. 70-74 degrees and 62% its a slow slow dry with the leaves on. im guessing 3 weeks. hopefully this will be enough time for the chlorophyll to break down and stop that hay/alfalfa plague i'm causing.
