Doing a Hydro run of my strain I created, JackBerry Haze, to see how she does. So far, so great! Super happy with how quick she is growing. Strong Clean growth. First time with Hydro and Love it.
Growing like a champ! Love Hydro and this being my first feminized auto strain I created is extra special and love it!
Because it is in a shared bucket I used Bonsai wire to bend the growth out to her side of the bucket, trimmed off some of the branches for overall cleaner growth and to avoid getting super bushy. Also since it is in with an older autoflower I am trying to flower her early so that I can flower both at the same time. Hope the addition of Flowering nutes helps kick her into flowering and that is also why I did not top her as that will definitely delay flowering. Experimentyal first hydro going great.
Filling in crazy big. Such a beast, one autoflower and 19 tops, didnt even top this one either. But in hind sight I wish I would of. This is my first hydro run though so all learning along the way. But super impressed with how well she is filling out. Just about to start flowering
Looks like the pre flower growth is finally about over. In hydro she really goes to the Super Auto side. 21 tops from this monster auto. and my first auto strain I ever created is a super nice cherry on top. Actions 👏
Flowering starting slowly but surely. Super Auto phenom for this girl. I got 5 other outdoor runs going of her and all are flowering and will finish around the classic 90 mark. Chucky buds so I am excited to see how this one fills out.
Got two nice clones off her working as well and got an early jump on flowering which is typical for auto clones.
All good things
Week two of flowering, she really kept to the super Auto side and slowly kicked into flowering. But she is rocking now and still getting bigger fortunately/unfortunately.
Filling in quick and gonna be a crazy good yield by looks of things. Love the genetics! Homerun for my first Auto strain. All great things Just starting week 3 of flowering
Week 4 of flower and looking great. I cut too much of my Fox Farm Grow big out of the feeding regiment and maybe a little Potassium deficency showing as well. Gave a full water change and should be on point now for the rest of flowering. She is stacking quickly.
Week 4 of flower went great, slight nutrient hick up that was easily fixed and buds stacking strong and steady. Clones are getting frosty and look excellent. All great things.
Coming into week 6 and everything is looking great. The buds are not as fat as I was hoping but I suspect that was from me not providing high enough levels of Flowering Nutrients as this was my first Hydro run. But buds are plentiful so will still have a very nice yield. All in all, very pleased with results.
Had a very unfortunate accident where the roots got damaged, a lot of factors played into it. My first time with hydro so learning as I go. Was supposed to be a regular auto to finish same time with the other auto however this one became a super auto and taking over the pot the old root sytem was still left over from the previous shared plant, I also didnt train properly and didnt to pat all because I thought it would be a regular. The tap root of this one also went through the side and the root mass became problamatic with all things considered. The lower branch dropped immediatly as well as a side branch, however the top branches seem to be not as adversly effected so will see how it goes with the remaining growth. Part of me wants to just cut her because this whole run was just experemental and for learning which I certainly did and ready to do a nice single plant proper run, with proper training. Still happy with my results and what I have taken away from this. All good things folks 😎
This did not end very well unfortunatrely. Ultimately the auto being a super auto was its demise. I was hoping to have them flower at same time and finish same time but since this one became a super it grew like a champ which is great genetically but for the first hydro run for me and being more experimental first run, the previously overgrown plants stem and roots slowly rotted and caused late stage root rot which is very unfortunate but happens. I still harvested 400 grams off the mother plant, 26 grams of one clone and 69 grams off the second big clone. Total of 497 grams which is over a pound wet weight. That is crazy good for what I am going for. Will be a QP dry at least which is great for an autoflower. Super happy and encouraged by my results and look forward to the current breeding project I got working. All good things friends.
Cheers
