West Coast O.G. Fastbuds

UKPersonal420 Well I’m back on track after my last grow was robbed! Very excited to be back growing and back on this site. Location change and nobody in my real life knows about this grow or where it is! Big shoutout to Mars Hydro for giving me a really good 4/20 deal on the tent and light combo. The quality of both the tent and the light is so much better than my previous equipment. I have a plant growing along side in a smaller pot but it is a complete unknown as to what is is and is more of an experiment than a serious grow so I won’t be writing a diary for it but it will be featured along side this plant. I am incredibly excited to be growing West Coast O.G from fastbuds as OG kush is one of my all time favourite strains. Thanks for stopping by, I will be trying to update my diary as much as possible. UKPersonal420 17/MAY/21 D:10: Didn't have any time over the weekend to visit the tent so I was excited/nervous about what state my girls would be in... And wow, she has definitely sprouted up and gained some decent growth. Very happy with how she is growing in my new setup! A very faint odour of the generic weed smell as I opened up the tent door, she is already leaving a weedy smell on fingers after gently inspecting the leaves. Gave her some water and a very light feeding of Advanced Nutrients pH Perfect Sensi Grow Part A & B 18/MAY/21 D:11: All is well, I keep forgetting to take a dustpan and brush so I can clean the floor 😱 Will make a reminder for next visit. Other than that, she's looking great, Out of seedling phase, and she is slowly starting to veg nicely now 😁 20/MAY/21 D:13: She has packed on a nice amount of foliage, certainly looking so far like a typical Kush bush 😄 I am thinking about planting that Strawberry banana seed daily! 21/MAY/21 D:14: Decided to top her, I am going to leave the fan leaves over the weekend just to help with recovery & growth. I have removed all new growth that would grow into anything other than a fan leaf. I am following "Nugbuckets" mainlining technique, I have found a very useful step by step adaptation of this technique by "Nebula" ( https://www.growweedeasy.com/mainlining-nugbuckets ) A really interesting read, if you haven't I'd suggest checking it out! This is a tried and proved method, managed by many growers. So if it goes wrong, all responsibility is on myself. Thanks for stopping by! Peace

UKPersonal420 Her growth has slowed a little, most likely due to topping, but I've read a few diaries on this strain and they say growth can slow a bit in early for this strain. Got some new seeds in as well. Plus some solo cups 😉 Sorry for nor posting as regularly, my back has been playing up which means more doctors and pain killers 😔 Which is more the reason for me to be excited for this harvest!

UKPersonal420 Sorry for mot posting regularly but i have been busy and in a lot of pain. Which meant I wasn't able to garden every day and i only took a few pictures. It looks like she is doing incredibly well! Buds are starting to grow and she is getting very smelly and sticky!

UKPersonal420 Oh WOW! She is really getting into her groove now. Caked in about as much frost as I could hope for at this stage. She has lovely soft pink hues at the top of her buds, I've tried to photo but I must admit I'm not the best at taking photos Beautiful Bud structure and she smells absolutely amazing, was really tempted to have a pre-harvest smoke but I resisted. Couple more weeks now I reckon and then Flush-Dry-Cure

UKPersonal420 She is smelling amazing now! Definitely she is drinking/eating less. Very fat and sticky colas, about the size of a can of coke :)

UKPersonal420 I thoroughly enjoyed this grow. I made mistakes and I also learnt alot! Been reading a few books and taking alot of time to do research and various aspects of cannay cultivation. This was my first proper entirely solo grow that rewarded me with a lovely harvest😁✌️ Growing this plant was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. She managed the fix her self from my many nooby mistakes and still managed to give me an excellent harvest of some truly knock out bud! Her appearance was some lovely darker shades of green typical for Indica dominant, she is cakes in beautiful glistening frosty trichomes that smell amazing! I did some small scale dry sifting and got some incredible quality kief from her. Tastes very much like old skool but high quality hash. Her smell is very earthy with pine and lemon with subtlety sweet undertones and that very famous pungent armpit smell. She hits like a truck with the perfect amount of Indica and small dashings up a sativa kick. Very pleasant stone with great medicinal properties. ( Joint pain, inflammation, anxiety & sleeping issues) Will definitely be growing again!
