Heresay Just started LST with the girls today. They are looking healthy as can be so far. Hoping to hold off flipping them for another 3 weeks or so.

Heresay Slowly bending those stems more and more. Had to get rid of the fan leaves as they were obstructing the growth of the new nodes. Hopefully I see some rounder, bushier growth in the coming week.
Also, changed over to advanced nutrients this week.

Heresay Topped the cookies again. All branches are reaching for the light in unison. 1 more week and over to 12/12. Would have liked to have seen a little more growth this week, but I am assuming the LST has slowed them a little. Not too worry, plenty of room for the stretch that is around the corner. Going to halve the amount of nutes as there was one yellow spot on the tip of one of the plant's leaves.

Heresay Another problem-free week. These young ones will be moved into the flower tent in roughly 5 days. I have continued training and defoliating them. Took a couple of cuttings from the bottom branches also.

Heresay So, switched to 12 12 tent in the middle of the week. No white hairs to be seen as of yet, but getting close. Unfortunately I encountered some light burn under the 250 watt HPS switch from fluorescent.
Heresay The plants are looking much healthier this week after recovering from either, nute def, light burn or wind burn... Huge growth this week. Been training a little more and removing damaged leaves or leave too close to the soil. Found a tiny beetle on a leaf, going to be keeping a close eye out for more over the next few days. White pistils showing.

Heresay Major stretch this week. You can’t really tell by the photos, but one of the cookies is on the darker side of green, while the other borders on light green. They are both very healthy looking but cannot seem to account for this difference. The trics are starting to grow very fast and the smell hitachi as soon as the tent is opened

Heresay Finished up with the big bud and decided to feed the girls some cal mag. The one with the darker green leaves has a fraction of yellow on the tips. Growing like a beast though. IM really looking forward to this harvest.

Heresay OKAy so I’ve been a bit slack with posting decent photos. It’s just a bitch to get them outta the tent and into some ordinary light. These are not great but better. Wondering what it means when a plants leaves point upward as if their leaves are bowling are trying to collect light? The smell is heavenly. So many tones for the nose to process and they are all distinctive.
The leaves on one of my cookies have been pointing upward for the passed few weeks. I have moved the light further away and this has not corrected the problem.
This is a good thing its the gravtational pull on your plants your plants are stretching they are happy this means your roots are growing also when your leaves go down the roots are building up power when they signal its go time the tops go to work leaves down roots are working leaves up your plant it doing uptop wat your roots do beneath✌️✌️👍👍🍻🍻
Heresay Looking very healthy and stacking on the trichomes. I’d say about another 3 weeks and it will be harvest time. I think one more feed and then onto the “ flawless finish” to flush.
I harvested one of the girls a few weeks early due to a lack of space in my grow tent and having to shift my god bud into flower. The bud is totally dried -not cured- and weighs 40 grams. Ive had a smoke of it and it is one of the most powerfully potent bud I’ve had. Very cerebral, due being picked early and very psychedelic. Almost like lsd. Very high thc!

Heresay Bit more bulk. Wasn’t entirely sure I wanted to start the flush just yet so I gave this girl one more set of nutes. Leaves are starting to fade yellow so must be pretty close to harvest. The smell is pretty tasty. Wouldn’t mind seeing some more trichromes over the next few weeks.

Heresay Flushed her twice this week with the flawless finish. Pulling off TheVine yellow and dying flowers. I plan to harvest next week sometime. Trichomes are 50/50 cloudy and clear.
This grew exactly as good as could be expected. The buds look very sugary and smell dank as cat piss. They are sticky and I expect and hope that she smokes the same as her sister which was harvested a few weeks back to make room in my tent. I will smoke thisin a week or two and update the info. Really nice mellow smoke. Tastes much creamier now. Hopefully once it’s cured for awhile it will balance out and be exceptionally floaty.

Heresay This phenotype was amazing and the best I’ve had. I wish I had have taken notice of the breeder ordering the seeds. This strain was a pleasure to grow and although I have not smoked this plant just harvested, I smoked her sister and the effects are very psychedelic, almost feels like a very mild acid trip. I will update once this one has been smoke.0
Great strain. Next time try using Pro-Mix HP instead of potting soil with the Advanced Nutrients PHperfect line and mix in 1 part Perlite to 4 parts ProMix even though it has some in it.
Is your PH really 6.8 its a bit high?.How are you measuring the PH, what instrument? (the soil PH? the runoff PH? the feed liquid PH?)
@Heresay, Yes, then you have added a buffer to your soil. In theory, that lime and the PH perfect solution are "battleing" each other.... The way PH perfect was explained to me by the sales rep is something like this..... The solution has a sort of coating of PH buffering chemical that will continue to release while striving to obtain the "Perfect PH level".
You could attempt to wash out the dolomite lime with gallons and gallons of PH'd water, but they look fine in photos and I dont recommend that right now because you'd need excellent drainage (lots more perlite mixed in) and dont want to start a root rot problem.
Try making sure you get a very good amount of run-off, (over watering flow through) ,when you do have feedings/waterings and discard that extra liquid from your catch saucers. It may help flush out your soil.
@Heresay Hi there! This can't be light-stress to me since your summits look fine and the plant don't show any other symptoms (despite the yellow/white color, the leaves maintain their shape and don't seem burnt) so I'm more thinking about a combination deficiency : Cal/Mag + Phosphorous. You're feeding with very low amounts of nutrients but your plant is already 9 weeks old, she needs more nutrients intakes to flower. There are many reasons to explain this combination deficiency: 1) your pH is a bit high, almost neutral (7) whereas your soil needs to be in a pH range from 5.8 to 6.5 (I target 6.2 in order to prevent from pH-pen calibration issue). 2) I guess your ppm is too low, as mentioned previously such tall plant need more nutrients intakes at this stage. 3) overwatering can result in a nutrients deficiency, since the roots are smothered in water/nutrients they can't manage to absorb it. Your soil needs to alternate between dry-cycle and wet-cycle. I'd recommend to lower down your vegetative nutrients (PH Perfect Grow) and increase your PK intakes (PH Perfect Bloom). From what the manufacturer says : up to 2ml/L Grow, 4ml/L 6 ml/L Bloom, but as always you may want to go progressively and start with lower amounts. I'll be around, keep us up-to-date so we can help you to adjust your parameters, and happy growing! 👊
@Stick, hey man, thanks for the lengthy reply. I guess I left out some details which would cause you to think that it is nutrient deficiency. The plants were in under fluorescent lighting and although I had been feeding them the little nutrients outlined in diary, they were perfectly healthy.
I switched them to HPS and the summit was at 12 inches (6 inches lower than what I stated on my diary). The following morning the leaves which were damaged, felt dry, crumbled and looked like they'd been bleached.
I've never encountered a nute deficiency to take hold so quickly so I did not even consider that it was a deficiency of some kind.
Also, I am growing in a fairly dense and rich soil medium, so I lowered my nutes to compenste.
