Flowers are starting. It looks like I got about 5 or six bud sites. My first serious attempt LST has worked this plant is slaaaanty.
Started boom nutrients this week too. Hoping for some fat buds.
Welcome to week 6 y'all. Things continue to progress nicely, this little lady has started to grow flowers and at present I count about 11 bud sites on the canopy. The flowers are developing nicely and it looks like they have some dark purple colouring around the flower... neat. In addition to the LST I've been doing some light defoliation. Nothing major just a leaf here or there to expose flowers to light. She's really low but really flat not the prettiest plant but strong.
Looking ahead to this week I ordered a new grow light from Mars Hydro which should get those buds to fatten up nicely. I might increase the water a bit and continue to feed with Dutch Science Nutrients' Bloom Baby Bloom and adjust LST not much more defoliation should be required until later on like week 8 I think.
Hey all and welcome to week 7.
Holy flowers Batman! (God I'm old) We are well into flowering now kids there's buds aplenty and they're just starting to fatten up.
My new TS-1000 from Mars Hydro came this past weekend and I got that installed right away so Ms. Elixer over here is very happy soaking up the extra "sun".
It's amazing how these plants can go from not needing much water at all to being thirsty asf in a matter of a week or two.
Bloom Baby Bloom from Dutch Science is working well as we continue on at half strength every other watering. Flush is coming up so let's get those nutes in there.
The branches have started to harden so not much LST is needed. She ended up decently flat with a slant in the main stem rather than a curve but it still has resulted in like 6 or 7 good bud sites that are starting to thicken. She was also looking shaggy which looked like it was blocking air flow so I gave our girl a hair cut a little sooner than planned but she should be fine. She's so pretty now 🤩🤩🤩
So far I have to say this has been one resilient little plant with super pretty flowers which were a tad unexpected. I'm not into CBD myself so this beauty is for my wife but still sooo pretty
This week I'm looking forward seeing these buds fatten under their new light.
Bloom Baby! Welcome to week 8 everyone. Our little CBD is in full bloom and covered in tricombs.
I've stopped feeding her Bloom Baby Bloom and have begun to flush the soil with clean water. This is recommended by Dutch Science so don't come at me with that myth junk. Last years harvest tasted terrible so anything I can do to help the flavor i'm going to do since this plant is destined for processing into oil for my lovely wife.
She smells nice and looks great. I'm am hoping to see these buds thicken up over the next few weeks though.
The finish line approaches not bad for two months work.
It's Chop Day! I've taken her down and placed the flowers on a drying rack at the top of my grow space above the lights. Since I've got the RH around 55% anyways it should be a fine drying environment for now.
The was a beautiful plant and super easy to grow. I recommend that anyone interested in a high CBD, super low THC strain give this one a try. I'll write a full review on my final harvest diary in about 3-4 weeks.
Thanks for following along while I grew my first autoflower and my first CBD strain. Stay tuned.
While this plant didn't produce much bud what it did produced was pounds of experience. This was the first autoflower I've ever grown and is my most successful grow to date. I made mistakes but I learned so much. Can't wait to try this one again.
