Tuesday, June 08: Betsy is doing well. She’s starting to bush out and become unruly. I accidentally snapped a fan leaf when trying to pin her down. I watered her really good as I now have a pump sprayer to get to her base stem more easily. She responded really well to the watering and I can see her leaves going for the light. Fox Farm nutrients have arrived and am researching the best way to apply. I also ordered a jug of Cal-Mag. She looks good so I’ll hold off until she tells me different.
Wednesday, June 09: She’s doing really well. I’ve been able to monitor her which is very fortunate. Seems like I’m always tucking a leaf or pulling some aside almost every 2 to 3 hours or so. So far so good.
Thursday, June 10: Gave her a quart of tap water. Changed the run off tray. She’s good.
Wednesday, June 16: Starting to see yellow tips on the leaves. Gave her a quart of water with .05 ml of cal mag. Raised light from 19” to 20”. She’s growing beautifully.
Friday, June 18: She is stretching. The cal mag did her good. She responded very well and is growing fast. I unraveled her from the garden wire to let her loose and grow.
Saturday, June 19: She looks good. Gave her another quart of .05 ml cal mag. Still pulling and tucking leaves. See lots of new sights popping up. She’s still alive.
1st week down and so far so good. I’ve been playing with the light distance and she seems to like it at 18”. I’m watering when I see the soil dry out but I’m also scared to overwater so I do it sparsely. Mostly hand sprinkling tap water around her. Nothing special. I did manage to fix my tent by adjusting the filter so that I have more room which is cool. I also picked up the volcano hybrid. That whip attachment is absolutely bonkers.
Good call on the additional watch to germ faster... Germing in cold weather can be a biiii**ch and half!
Sending the best of vibes to you, your plant/s, and your mutual growth together! Good luck! 🌱
@JamMAKEcan, thank you I think so too. Although the trichomes are some are clear, some mostly cloudy, and few amber. I read for sativas, it is best to harvest when 30% amber 70% clear. So I will wait a few then I plan to put her in the dark for 24 hrs before the big day.
