Yeah, like Alwa26 said it's those first 'real' leaves with the serrated edges after the round cotyledons (seed leaves). I usually consider the whole first week when the seed is dropped to when it pops up as 'germination week' - after that it's week1 veg.
bfinnz This is my first time growing anything, but I know I’m really testing the resiliency of these plants this week. Week 5 I made the mistake of falling asleep before watering and by the time I woke up a lot of damage was done. They recovered really well. About 5 days later I pruned most of the leaves that were blocking light to the new growth that looks like it’s where bud forms. Idk wtf I’m doing, I’m just happy I have nearly 40 seeds and all the time in the world if things go south. 🤞 Going to start recording the nutrients im using next week
bfinnz I realized while transplanting last week that I messed up big time. The roots on all the plants were still the size of the red solo cup I started them out in.... and they were real solid. I broke them up and planted them with my fingers crossed. It’s only 2 days after transplanting and there’s a lot of new growth. I don’t know if that’s because the roots are happy or because of the nutrients I gave them
