Germinated in water with a few drops of First feed then into a rooting block and a few days in a sealed jar on a seeding mat before placing into net pot with clay pebbles.
Not my first grow but hoping it's going to be my first successful one.
Each of my previous grows have not gone well, I think I over did it with nutes so am hoping that this week works better than my other goes.
The first pic is the beginning of the week, will add more by the end to see how I'm going.
Second and third pic show the plant at two inches but discolouration at the ends of the leaves, can anyone suggest what the issue might be and how to sort it?
The start of week two and hoping the change of solution helps with the problems she has developed. Dunno what I'm doing wrong but this always seems to happen.
Start of week 3 and still having issues with what could be a deficiency or nute burn. So I decided to make the solution with half and two thirds of recommended amounts.
Plus started some LST
A mild disaster at the beginning of week 4. While lifting the pot out I managed to knock the top of the plant off, so have accidentally topped my girl. I hope she has time to recover.
She seems to be doing ok after her accidental beheading last week. I was a bit worried as was away on holiday for a week and wasn't able to keep an eye on her but I think that has done her no harm. I think she is in flower so am adjusting the nutes accordingly.
Looks like she survived her topping and although there are some leaves slightly discoloured they don't appear to be too bad.
It's difficult to judge any height gain as I've used LST to spread the stalks wider to increase light to lower bud sites. There are the signs of pistles on her now as well.
This is the best I've gotten to from all my previous attempts, fingers crossed for the next stage.
Been a week of ups and downs.
While changing reservoir I managed to split the main stem down the middle but wired it back together and she seems to have coped well with that and the fact that I stripped a lot of the leaves and some of the smaller more shaded bud sites from her.
The PH level has been a pain in the arse and has had to be constantly amended to keep it in the 5.5-6.0 range. She has been drinking well with the reservoir level was down at half when changed from last week and by day five this week again it appears to be almost half of what was put in.
At the moment I am having to adjust the PH twice a day to keep it in the correct range. The heatwave is causing havoc with the temp in the tent as I have found it up around 30c a few times and some of the leaves have a brown mottling on them.
Bit of a shite week. We went away for a few days and on return the PH had dropped to 4.0. Even when I adjusted the levels she drank almost nothing for the rest of the week.
She drank a lot more this week going through almost two thirds of the 10lt she was given. There are leaves going brown and dying but I read somewhere this was the plant using the resources in the leaves for the buds. There are quite a few bud sites but they don't appear to be fattening up much.
Once again she has been a thirsty girl, drinking the vast majority of her 10lt. I don't know if it's just me but I can't see much fattening up of her buds but I have been in the tent twice a day to monitor and adjust the PH levels.
This looks like her last week before harvest as the trichromes are frosting up nicely.
While the amount harvested is piss poor it is my best to date
The poor wee plant had a lot to cope with.
Being accidentally beheaded, having its stem split down the middle and wired back together as well as the pH dropping to 4 when I went away for the weekend.
Here's hoping my next grow is more successful, mind you I've said that before.
