I am going to use RO water with a few drops of 3% peroxide to soak for 24 hours. Then a paper towel with same solution until tap roots are formed. Once tap roots are formed I will transplant directly into final 5G fabric pots. I will also be "charging" my coco/perl medium with PH balanced RO water and 5ml : gl of CaliMagic before planting seedlings. I was going to wait to germinate until I had a few other strains but, it looks like those might be weeks out yet. So here goes nothing. =] Update 05/31/21 Got my seeds in the coco and watered. Time to wait for the beginning of week one to start as soon as they pop their little heads out of the ground.

Day 1: So just a day after placing seeds in the soil. One seedling is broken through the surface. I am hoping #2 shows her little noggin today sometime. :) Fed them a bit of 6.1 PH RO with a little callimagic and a tad of terpinator. Also lights are at just about 25%. Day 2: Second plant has surfaced. Watered them a little this morning. Plant 1 seems to be maybe stretching a bit so I upped the lights a tad bit to 30%. Got my Exhale CO2 bag yesterday and hung it in the tent. Day 3: Both plants looking healthy and green seeing growth in both so that is good. Still watering with RO water with a PH today of 6.1 and some Callimagic and terpinator. Only watered them once yesterday and coco still seemed moist this morning. Planting an outdoor bonsai kush xl today. Day 4: watered this morning with a very mild diluted seedling nute formula found here: https://www.cocoforcannabis.com/how-to-grow-cannabis-seedlings-in-coco-coir/ I will be ramping up the nutes slightly daily for about a week. Other than that they both look relatively healthy, except maybe plant #2 which looks to be a little malformed and perhaps stunted a bit due to the deformity/mutation. Day 5: Watered a lot of RO water with a seedling blend of nutrients upped to 500/1100 and a ph of 6.1. Got a ton of run off so that’s good. Growth is steady and secondary leaves are coming in. Not much else to report, I will check the EC of my runoff later. The rest of the components I need to finish building my reservoir and halo drip system, self draining platter with an automatic pumping runoff bucket will arrive tomorrow. I will post pictures of that as well once I am done with it. Day 6: 06/06/2021 - Finally checked my run off (runoff was from yesterday oops) it came out at 610ec and 7.01ph. So I fed today with 600/1100 ph’d at 5.89. I am getting well over 20% runoff at about a 1.5l of nutes total for both plants. So from now on I will be feeding a bit less to save some nute money. :) Plant #2 is catching up to #1 nicely. Day 7: 06/07/2021 - Both plants are putting on some new growth. No where near what I was expecting, but it is growth non the less. I fed with 690/1100 nutes using a diluted seedling formula. PH of 6.05. Plant #1 seems to have a bit pale to me compared to plant #2. I might have to raise a question about that later. Also my new self emptying trays and bucket are working perfectly! This is the last day of week 1 stay tuned for week 2 cheers! Update 06/06/2021 : Added in a crude rendition of my auto emptying bucket and self draining pans rig. This is being done mid grow so it is not pretty just yet. But this is all needed before I setup my auto watering system. Basically this auto emptying bucket works by the pans simply draining into the bucket. The bucket contains a submersible auto pump like from an AC unit. And that pumps the water once it is over about 2 inches into my sump. Cross your fingers I hope it works. This also allows me to drop my dehumidifier waste straight down into it.

Should I have any concerns with this mutated plant? I am assuming not as long as it is showing growth and is green. :)

Plant #1 seems a bit more on the pale green/yellowing side of the spectrum. Especially compared to plant #2. I have been feeding this week on a gradually increasing schedule. Not enough characters to go into it here.

This was due to grower error, i was using PPM instead of EC on a new pen. And a few other mistakes. Love and learn!

Day 8: 06/08/2021 - some marked growth for both plants over night. But, at this stage it just seems to be about waiting and making sure they get what they need. Fed this morning with a PH of 6.3 to try to get some more calmag up take. Day 9: still growing looking good to me so far. Plant #2’s deformities continue though. Her second set of leaves are still only one leaf, looks like the next set are at least three though. Found out I was using my EC pen wrong and did a flush of RO PH 6.3 with calMag yesterday. Also found out my filters for my RO are way old, so ordered more of those. Hopefully they will arrive in a day or so. Other than those two hiccups everything seems to be going pretty smoothly. My self draining bucket is awesome, I have done two small flushes and it handled them like a champ, meaning no syringes or vacuum to get rid of drain waste for me! Woot! One note on this Mars Hydro light. Plant #1 seems to be really pulling toward the middle of it. I have it at about 15-14 above the tops and at 60%. Might raise it and turn it up some to get a better spread perhaps. Day 10: 06/10/2021 - Both plants doing well. I am seeing new growth in both and it’s exciting. Plant #1 has bud sites/ branches coming from the intersection of the first set of serrated leaves. Is this common? Fed this morning with a nute mix of 500EC and all seems well with that ratio. I will be upping it slightly to about 1000EC by the end of the week as the plants need it. I’m going to start setting up my auto watering rig tonight. I am using a 27g black tote, halos, a small aquarium pump, some ball valves, and a good down to the second timer. Exciting day! Day 11: So I did not get to my auto watering rig like I wanted to yesterday. Here is hoping for today! Fed this morning with 650EC/1000EC seedling nite mix. I had to restart after a little flush due to user error on my EC pen. I will be bumping that up slightly to 1000ish EC the rest of this week perhaps into next if plants need it. Both plants are putting on what to me looks like good new growth. Both plants already showing signs of branching starting. Smooth sailing for now. Day 12: 06/12/2021 - Finished setting up my auto top off rig and changed all the filters in my RO late last night. Today I will have to continue to dial in the halos and run off of my waterings. Noticed a weird grayish (under the lights) color to the new growth. It got pretty chilly and humid in the tent last night due to me not plugging in the heater to the controller. Hope it is nothing major. Noticing a little light curl/ canoeing in the leaves this morning. I will watch them through the day and adjust the light if necessary. Day 13: Everything is running smoothly and I have been hands off for now. Day 14: well last day of week 2 of veg! Another day of hands off and just letting them grow. I will start LST tomorrow though. Woot woot! On to week 3! Update 06/09/2021 - got three new strains today in seed form. Tangerine Dream Auto Blueberry Auto Gorilla Glue Auto

Day 15: 06/15/2021 - Did some light LST late last night before last feeding and the lights went out. Fertigating 3x a day at around 11-1200 EC, PH 6.1-6.2, 7.25 hours apart starting at lights on. I think I am seeing some canoeing in Plant 1, keeping an eye out and will adjust my lights if needed. Other than that I did see some slowness in growth over night probably due to the LST, but also keeping an eye on that. Not that I know what to do about it. 😜 Day 16: Not much to report today. Did some slight LST adjustments. Seeing good growth. Had to fill the reservoir today so I upped the nutes a tad and adjusted the PH to 6.0-6.1. Plant 1 is looking a bit like she is yellowing some. Trying to stay on top of things. 🤓 Day 17: Pretty hands off today, some slight leaf tucking and LST today. Adjusted PH in my reservoir from 6.5 to 6.2, seems to rise slightly after a few days. Day 18: Definitely getting bushier now. They look like crap today after I man handled them to LST. Not sure how much LST I will have to do with these as it is such a squat plant already. Having a hard time LSTing with the Halos in the way for watering. Also, definitely noticed a bit of a plant smell coming from the tent when I opened it. Emptied, cleaned and refilled the reservoir last night with fresh nutes. Noticed it was just starting to cloud up and get a bit slimy in there. I think I forgot to put in my H2O2 last fill up. Fixed now and filled with a 1250-1300ec veg recipe at 6.0PH around 6 gallons worth, that should last a week at the very least. Day 19: Not much going on plants both look healthy and are growing fast. The smell is getting stronger by the day as well already. I will be doing some more LST this afternoon but other than that smooth sailing. Day 20: I had to do a bit more tucking and LST last night. Also need to make more nutrient solution already. They are getting thirsty apparently. Might up my feeding to 4 times a day to make sure I get the desired run off I want. I am seeing what seems to be slight nutrient burn on only two tips of plant 1. I will be lowering the solution back closer to 1150ec max of 1200ec. Current reservoir is at 6.1PH due to the rise over time phenomenon in the res with the air stone, and sitting about 1400ec. 🤷‍♂️🏻 Other than that they are growing like weeds! Day 21: Well Boys and girls and non binary friends we have reached the last day of week three of veg. Plants look all disheveled due to me leaf tucking constantly and checking if anything needs to be tied down. But so far smooth sailing no major deficiencies or ailments yet. Did my first mini defoliation just now, only took a total of three large fan leaves in total from both plants. Two off plant 1 and one of plant 2. The experiment continues… It looks like so far I have about 8 bud sites on plant one and 9- 10 on plant 2. Didn’t get pictures but not much to see from what I posted this morning. Also topped off my Rez with some more nutrient solution. Running at 1255ec with a PH o5.9. Hoping the PH will drift upward as it has been doing a bit every day. these are the shortest node lengths I have seen on any plant. If I didn’t LST I feel the plant would still only be like 8 inches high. 🤷‍♂️🏻 I also turned my lights down to 45% a few days ago and almost all alligatoring is gone. I will start ramping the lights back up as the plants start taking off a bit more and I increase my feedings to 4 times a day during lights on. On to week 4 tomorrow happy growing!

Day 22: Well we made it to the beginning of week 4! Who would of thunk! So we are starting week 4 on a good foot. No issues at this time and growing really well. Still such a squat plant. The nodes spacing is only like a half inch apart. WTH 🤷‍♂️🏻 Other than that the PH in my reservoir is dropping, usually it rises a bit everyday. I will have to remedy that before my midday feeding. I mean it was at 5.85-5.9PH so not out of whack but I was hoping for a drift of 5.9-61ish before I had to do a top off or change of the solution. Did some more light LST and leaf tucking last night before bed and will probably have to do more this afternoon. Day 23: River and Clara are growing really fast now. However I did notice the darkening of some of the new growth tips and a potential N burn. I believe this to be from a faulty PH tester I bought from nutetools dot com. Junk! So back to my old cheap meter. I will have to empty and clean out my reservoir today and make some more sauce for my plants so that I know it is PH’d correctly. What a pain in the ass. I am going to have a chat with them this afternoon for perhaps a replacement. Other than that onward and upward. Day 24: Not a whole lot to say today. Filled the reservoir yesterday. Sat and tried to figure out how to LST these super squat plants. I am thinking a couple haircuts are in order today. I think this will be beneficial to the little bud site that are partiallly blocked, but also for me to see what the structure looks like to get a better idea what I am working with 🤪 I am also thinking of upping my watering schedule to 4 times a day during lights on. I feel they are starting to drink a lot more and are probably just about to go into flowering mode. Day 24 Update: So I took the plunge and did some major defoliation and retied up all the LST work I did previously. They look so pissed off at me now… lmao. 🤬 You can see the before pics in my previous post from this morning. Also posting pics of how tiny my node spacing is.. Day 25 06/25/2021 - Today should be pretty hands off. Just letting them do their thing after the harsh treatment they got from me yesterday. (Defoliation and LST). I’m assuming they will need a couple days to recover, but, I will say they do look a bit less pissed off today than yesterday. Still no signs of sex. the tops are a nice bright green and the leaves are starting to deform like it really wants to flower. Hopefully, I didn’t screw it up by defoliating. The wait for flower continues. Day 26: These plants have bounced back awesomely after my heavy handed defoliation and LST. Putting on an inch a day and growing faster by the minute. They must have loved my nutrient ratio last feeding. I am going to do the same mix again today to refill the reservoir. Speaking of reservoir and watering… I think I am watering a bit munch per feeding as I am going through 5-6 gallons every 2-3 days for two plants. So I think today I am going to finally go to a 4 feed per day schedule and drop the time from 1min 10secs to 50secs or so. They should realistically only be getting a gallon a day a piece and still get good runoff to avoid any salt buildup. Have a 4inch and 6inch stretch a scrog nets ordered as well. Other than all that I think this first grow is going great so far! Day 27: Another day of mostly hands off and just watching the stretch. If my scrog nets come today I will hang the first one and that is about it today. Last night however, I did find a few pistils on Clara the smaller of the two and the no longer late bloomer. I also got my new Milwaukee MW804 4in1 ph/ec/tds/temp pen. Excited to have a reliable testing tool. One more grow day in the books! Cheers! Day 28: Well last day of week four. I was really hoping it would have started flowering by now, but we will hope for week 5. I got my scrog nets late yesterday afternoon and I put the first 4” net up. As you can probably see by the pics I really have no clue what I am doing. Also these plants are so so squat and compact I almost wish I had a 2” net. But, I think they are in stretch mode so we will see how that might effect my ability to a rig these a bit better. My plans for today are to do a quick clean and rinse of the reservoir and refill with a new batch of mutes I mixed up in the middle of the night last night. Then just let them grow I suppose. Not much else for me to do. 🤷‍♂️🏻Now on to week 5 tomorrow and continue to have a good grow. Cheers! 🥃

Day 29: Welcome to week 5 friends! Still not flowering but growing like crazy and drinking like fish. Not much to do at this point but tuck leaves and scrog as they grow larger. I think I am feeding rather heavy as I just changed to 4 fertigations a day. But I went through 3 gallons of water just yesterday alone. I am going to have to watch runoff and cut feed time to probably about 40 seconds each feed. I am making more nutrient solution as we speak 🤦‍♂️🏼Other than that everything is turning up Milhouse. I just can’t wait until flowering time, like seriously can’t wait any longer lol… Day 30: Today feels like another auto pilot day. I will check the reservoir PH but probably will not do much beyond that. I will also keep an eye on the plants today for any deficiencies or other signs of nutrient stress. Since I changed my nutrient mix to a flip to pistil mix. I would like to give them another haircut, but considering they are not in flower yet I do not want to stress them to much. I pulled just a few under canopy stems and leaves yesterday but only like 5-6. Day 31: Other than staring at my plants yesterday all I did was adjust PH in my reservoir and pull a few bottoms leaves and stems off. I will probably make another 6 gallons of special sauce for the ladies today and top off my reservoir. I’ll probably use my late vegetation recipe as some of the leaves are looking like they are a bit faded. That mixed with my flip to pistil recipe should be a perfect balance for the stretch period they are in. But yeah, stretch = early flowering. I am pretty pumped that both plants are showing sex and ready to flower, or rather in transition to flower mode. To the moon we go! I feel like I am missing something… oh well if I think of it I will update… Day 32: River has been on a slow decline the last couple days. Looks to me like a nitrogen deficiency, which is weird because both plants are the same strain and get fed the same are the same size etc. I did have a pretty low PH the other morning on day 30 or 31. I am thinking I should turn my lights down a bit, and maybe give some higher PPM vegetation nutrient recipe. See if I can bring her back before it is to late. Other than all that Clara is still looking good for now. Any advice is appreciated. Day 33: So yesterday I started cleaning as best as I could under the canopy. These plants are so squat and dense it makes it very difficult. Not to mention the halos in the way. Next grow I am going to fill the pots more for sure and trim the halos so they are closer to the soil. Since Clara is almost in full flower mode and River is showing a tad bit more pistils, I think I am going to mix up a batch of early flowering nutrients and mix it with my flip to pistils mix. I will also try to do a small amount of defoliation today if I can. Other than that mostly on auto pilot today. Day 34: Late yesterday I turned my lights down to 60% from 65-70% as I think the discoloration on River was due to me turning them up earlier this week. I also made some more nutrients but kept a bit more nitrogen in the mix due to the stretch. But started introducing a bit more bloom(2.25ml/g) and koolbloom(0.75ml/g). I also did the best I can at clearing under the canopy. I got a few more small undeveloped flower sites and a bunch of fan leaves. They look pretty good today from what I can tell, and, I feel this will be a pretty hands off day as well. River still isn’t flowering as much as Clara but she does have a few more visible pistils then the other day. I feel like I should be doing more with them, but, less is more right? So other than checking on the reservoir PH and talking to them a couple times today I think that is about it. I would like to put up my second net but I think I might wait until I’m sure I will need it. If these plants stay as short as they have I probably won’t. Also the main stem is bigger than my thumb. Grow on! Day 35: Things are moving right along. Clara is stretching well and flower sites are forming well. River is showing more signs of flower but she is now almost a week behind Clara which was the runt. Not sure what to do about that at harvest time. I figure either harvest both when one is done or wait until one is a little over ripe and the other slower one is done. This morning I checked the reservoir for PH and it climbed a bit but sitting at 6.1. I also cleared some more foliage from under the canopy/netting. Trying to get as much airflow as I can without stressing them to much. I will probably take a little bit every couple days. Going to make some early flower recipe nutrients today and top up my reservoir with that. Hoping this will slowly introduce those bloom nutrients gradually while still keeping some grow for the rest of the stretch. I will probably turn my light back up just a hair and see what happens with that over the next few days. Last time I turned it up like 10ish percent and that was a bit much for River. Anyway that’s it for week 5. See you tomorrow for what I am going to label the first week of flower. Cheers! 🥃🤓

Day 36: The first official week of flower for me. Super excited and proud I have made it this far. We are just about half way there. So yesterday afternoon was pretty much hands off the plants except for just a bit of defoliation. I did make my first true early flower nutrient recipe and used that to top up the reservoir. So that was a bit exciting 🤓 The PH in the reservoir dropped some overnight so I raised that back up to 5.9-6.0 this morning. But today should be another autopilot day and waiting on River to start her flowering cycle a bit more. One question I do have is when to setup the second 6” scrog net? I feel I should wait a bit more to see how far they do stretch in the next week. Any recommendations are appreciated. Have a good day and may all your gardens be fruitful. Day 37: So, yesterday I did a bit more defoliation, as these plants are dense and bushy as heck! I also setup my second Scott net now. I figured it wouldn’t hurt to have it in place if I need it. I am still waiting on better signs of flower for River and hoping her getting some flowering nutrients might help force her to come along and join Clara a bit faster. However, I am seeing more and more pistils everyday just not as fast as Clara. Checked my reservoir this morning as I always do and it went up to about 6.15PH. I am going to leave it there today. I will probably need to make some more nutrients and clean out my reservoir tomorrow. I also raised my lights by about 1-2% late last night. I will need to keep an eye on this today and tomorrow. According to my phone app they are only at about 420ish ppfd. Which is a bit low for late veg and flip. I m hoping to slowly increase them to about 700 ppfd by the end of this week or early next if they can handle it with these monster lights I have in such a small space. Goal is about 800 if possible or as high as they can go. I am running a CO2 bag just about 6” above them. I plan on not touching anything in the garden today and just letting it do it’s own thing and hope I can actually keep my hands off. I feel they are a bit stressed and droopy from my messing with them everyday. Day 38: So OMFG these plants grew over 3 inches from yesterday afternoon to this morning. Talk about stretch. And, this kush was one of the smaller strains they had. I put my scrog net up 2 days ago at a height I didn’t think they would reach until the end of the week. But they are already starting to surpass the net. If they are stretching like this my nutrient mix I’m making today I will have to add a tad bit more nitrogen to it to support the growth. I also had to raise my lights as far as I could. If they get any taller I might have to redo my tent to uncluttered the top in order to get my lights up another foot. Not a bad problem to have I guess. River still is not in full on flower mode but getting closer and closer it looks like. She is going to be about two weeks behind Clara at this point. That being said today is reservoir cleaning and disinfecting day, my least favorite garden chore. I will probably make 12 gallons today. But I will say that now that I know how often and when to add H2O2 to the reservoir I can go a week or two without any ick in it. So to recap today is just maintenance with nutrients and reservoir and maybe raising my second net. Autopilot for the rest. Day 39: Ok so… This stretch has got me a bit worried as I am quickly running out of space . I mean it isn’t a bad problem to be in, but, I also don’t want to burn the tips of my plants either. I think my plants have been stretching for at least 2 weeks I am hoping they are done in a week at least. It also is starting to make no sense in trying to get individual plant pictures any more as it just looks like on big jungle in there anyway. I was able to manage to keep my hands off the plants for the most part yesterday and this morning. It seems this stage is going to be mostly on auto and adjusting my reservoir PH when needed. This morning it was a bit low so I raised back up to 5.9. But overall I’m pretty happy with the results so far, being we are only half way through week one of flower. A quick question I do have is considering these are autos, should I still defoliate this canopy a lot more? Seems really dense to me. It is really hard to also get to the back of the tent to do any pruning or maintenance. Cheers! Day 40: Well this morning when I went to check on the garden just with the 4 hours of dark and maybe an hour before lights off when I last checked the plants they had on average about an inch more growth. River is stretching the most and really showing her Sativa side. I had to tuck her leaves and LST a few flower sites down a bit AGAIN. Last night I also did a bit more defoliation from the bottom up. I started getting any new growth off from below the canopy and tried to work my way up each flower site. It must have been a good 5-10% off each plant again. Of course you can’t even tell from the pictures, but, the airflow is much better now. Checked the PH of my reservoir this morning. It was sitting at 6.09 so I left it to drift up to 6.2ish before I PH down it. I did add 3ml per gallon of H2O2 to keep it sterile. Basically another day in the books and looking to be about a month or so left of flowering on Clara at the very least. River is another story (or Song) lol 🤓reference. Cheers all and happy farming! Day 41: Nothing new to report really. Found some rust colored spots on a few leaves. I removed them and raised the light as far as I could. I think it is mostly light burn maybe a bit calmag issue. I did have to pull the reservoir and disinfect it. I found some black ick in the bottom. Making early flower bites now about 12 gallons worth. And we will see how it goes from there. Day 42: Well River is still stretching and now I am truly worried she is going to be to big for my setup. She looks like she should just start bursting forth flower any day but she hasn’t packed on any weight yet. Clara is chugging along doing her thing as well. She needs more flower nutrients but River doesn’t so it’s sort of a compromise between the two. For these being supposedly the exact same strain from the same pack, there is a wild difference between the two. PH in the reservoir was at 5.97 so I left it alone. Other than that please let River stop stretching and flower more, please.

Day 43: Welcome to the first day of the second week of flower. Well at least one is flowering nicely! 🤪I am still not sure what to do about River, she doesn’t seem too light stressed being so much closer to the light the Clara. But Clara literally cannot handle anymore light with out burning up :( I did try and LST River again today as best as I could with what little room I have so we will see I guess. Making some mid flower nutrient recipe today to top off the early bloom recipe that is already in the reservoir. I am really hoping the lack of nitrogen doesn’t hurt River but rather pushes her to actually stop stretching and flower up. Anyone have any concerns with this approach? Could I be hurting my potential yield? Other than all that I think everything is going about as good as it can. Cheers! Day 44: Same ol’ same ol’. Still in stretch city with River. The tallest branches I bent over are already taken over and surpassed from where they where before I bent them over by other branches. This is getting really frustrating. She has not shown any signs of nitrogen deficiency yet after cutting it out of her diet. At this point though it looks like I may have rearrange the upper part of my tent to try and raise the lights soon. I was really hoping to not have to do that. I checked in on the plants before lights out yesterday and when I do I usually check the reservoir for PH level. When I did it this time it was at 4.57PH!!! Brought it back up to 5.9ish before the last feeding last night. Checked again this morning and it was about 5.4 so once again I brought it back to 5.9ish. Hopefully it will level out and stabilize now. My reservoir also seems a lot cloudier than previously. Not sure why it isn’t bacteria as it is fresh and only a few days old and sterilized with H2O2. I am thinking it might be the terpinator I am using. I started adding a lot more to the recipe now that we are in flower. Anyone else experience this with terminator in a reservoir? So anyway that’s about it for today. I might just go climb that beanstalk to the clouds that is River and see if I can’t find a golden egg. Cheers! Day 45: Good morning all! So quick update on each plant first I suppose. Well River is still stretching a little seems like it might have slowed down some at least. She is not putting on an inch plus every night now. Flower sights seem to be tightening up a bit more as well. Hopefully this is it and she will really start producing flower now. Fingers crossed. Clara is still trucking’ along and her flowers are slowly getting bigger. I tried to defoliate her a bit more to open up some air and to get some more light penetration to the lower flower sites yesterday. But both are relatively healthy and growing. All good things. Now for my reservoir… ugh! It has gotten a bit more cloudy today. Also the PH was spiked to 6.55 after adjusting it yesterday morning to 5.9. I readjusted again this morning to 5.8 and added my H2O2 to the reservoir per my normal routine for sterilization. I still think it is all that terpinator they tell you to use on the bottle. Next reservoir refill I am not going to add any and see what happens. If it is not the terpinator. Then I will cut out the yucca as that is just a setting agent and see if that is the culprit. I suppose if it’s not neither of those then it could be bacteria, however, I am not seeing any slimes film or any smell. But as we head into mid week of week two of flower, I think everything is going better than not. So happy farming everyone and good luck with your gardens! Day 46: I actually think river is going into full flower finally! She already needs a good haircut and trim. I think I will wait until she is flowering a bit more though. Clara is still chugging along and doing fairly well. Noticing a bit more light burn but there is nothing I can do about right now since River is doing good. I will just remove any burnt leaves. But it has been weird weather and getting a bit warm in my tent as well, so that might be a factor as well. Now for my reservoir… that has some crazy sediment or something in the bottom even with my power head keeping everything else really mixed up. I am now pretty sure it is the terpinator. I am going to wait until my 5:00pm feeding and make some more flowering recipe nutrients and this time leave out the terpinator. Last thing I want to do is have to clean out my reservoir every 2-3 days because of it. Defeats the purpose of having a reservoir and auto feeding. I will report on how it looks in a few days if not start of week 3 of flower. If anyone has any comments or concerns please let me know. I am trying to learn and research in my own but having some feedback is always a good thing. Cheers all and happy farming! Day 47: Good morning all! Nothing much new or exciting today to report. River is still stretching ever so slightly. I have pictures from my cam 8 hours apart from overnight to see just how much. Clara is still packing on the flower, even though I feel it is slow. That might be due to me having to average out the nutrients between a plant stretching and one in full flower mode. Now that I have went to early-mid bloom nutrient recipe, you can see the lack of Nitrogen in River, as well as some light stress. So last night I had to empty and clean the reservoir again. It seemed that only after like 2-3 days it got super cloudy and slimy. I removed the terpinator from my mix and we will see how it looks in a few days. I mean does it even make sense any plants need 20ml per gallon of that stuff? Seems excessive. I have to make another 6 or so gallons of nutrient recipe today sometime as I ran out of time last night before I fell asleep. 🤪 I did add in my Kessil H80 Flora Nova little refugium light perched just above and to the side of Clara. That will give her some UV and IR. Or it should in theory. It was really good at growing macro algae into giant balls. 🤓 Time will tell. Again good folks, have a great day and grow on! Day 48: I am getting so stressed at River, she just won’t stop growing and has officially overgrown my space. No matter what I do to her she just won’t quit. I have no place to bend the tallest branches, but the way she is growing all the branches are going to hit the lights soon. I cannot raise the light any higher the ratchet straps are maxed out and there is no room at the top anyway with my filter in the tent. So basically I am at a loss here. Clara is putting on weight but very slowly. She is starting to really get frosty now though which is cool to see. But she isn’t getting as much light as she should be because of River! So far my terroir has maintained its clarity and cleanliness without that nasty terpinator in it. I will still feed terpinator. But, I think I will only do it on the last top up of the reservoir before I am scheduled to clean it anyway within 2-3 days. Well that’s all I got today folks. Have a great day! Day 49: So yesterday afternoon I had to clean my tents “attic”. I took all electronics, power strip, timers, etc. out of the top of my tent space and moved them outside. This allowed me to get my light up another 8 inches or so. River keeps growing and growing. If you look at the pics of her does she not look like she is in flower mode? This is the only reason I haven’t gone to 12/12. Clara is still flowering well, even though it isn’t as fast as I would have hoped. Checked my reservoir this morning as I always do, and it is still clear and the PH rise over the last day was minimal. So after the last 2-3 days I can say the turpinator was definitely the culprit. We close out week 2 of flower and that is all I have for this morning. Good day all!

Day 50: Welcome folks to what I am going to call officially week 1 of flower for River, and week 3 for Clara. River still slow to really flower but she definitely is. She seems really healthy and with super thick stalks and branches. If she decides to really flower I have a feeling they are going to be massive. Clara is awesome, even though I am probably light stressing her a bit still. I am going to make another diffuser and check the intensity later this afternoon. Yesterday afternoon I made 6 gallons of mid bloom nutrient recipe and added terpinator back into it. I also cut out all the grow nutrients from my GH trio lineup. Now I always wait a good 15-20 minutes before checking and adjust final PH when making solution. Then I wait again and keep it up until it is perfect. I did all that yesterday. PH of the reservoir was at 6.04 before I added the new mix at a PH of 5.82. However this morning I think due to the terminator my reservoir was super cloudy (after less than 24hrs) and had a PH drop down to 5.34… 😢 what gives here? I always make sure it is clean and always top off my H2O2 every 2 days or so. I am not super happy with this product at the recommended dosage they ask for. Seems like major overkill. Next grow I have been thinking of trying Advanced Nutrient line, just because it sounds really easy in Coco and keeps a good PH for a long while. That Kessil H80 refugium light I added is totally working. I can see even fan leaves mid to below the canopy that should not have trichomes on them have them only in the spot where that light gets through and almost concentrated on a certain spot. It is cool to see. I could not for the life of me get a picture but I will try harder later this afternoon. Other than all that rambling I just did, I will be hands off (but not eyes off) the garden today. Have a fab day all! Day 51: Nothing new to report from yesterday other than my killer hangover today. Everything seems to be trucking along as best as it can over here. Apparently I take really crappy pictures when I am hungover. River is still a monster pheno, and the colas stems are as thick as bic pens. Clara seems to maybe have stalled out or bud growth just isn’t as fast for me. Probably from her being so crowded and light stressed. I will be turning the lights down a bit today. Checked PH and it was at 6.34 so all I have done today and yesterday was adjust the mad PH swings that terpinator seems to induce in my reservoir. Enjoy! Lol Day 52: Good morning all. So yesterday was all hands off except for PH stuff for the reservoir. Today I need to clean and disinfect my reservoir after my next feeding. Should be pretty much empty after that. Just to clarify I only have to clean it because of the terpinator I put in on my last too up. That stuff makes a feed our very unhappy and gross. I will be filling it with a mid flower nutrient recipe and cutting way back on cal mag as I think part of Claras problem is to much for her stage right now. Still trying to keep the balance for both plants. River is about two weeks behind Clara. But since they both get fed out of the same reservoir I have to find a balanced diet for both. Been a learning experience for my first grow. That being said I assumed I wouldn’t have this problem this bad since I planted the same strain from the same breeder at the same time and did everything the exact same for both. The differences in these phenos is astounding. River is literally 3 times bigger than Clara and looks very Sativa to me. Any who… As I said earlier today is reservoir and nutrient day but little else. Oh one last thing. I just raised my lights by a good 8 inches plus last week, River is already as close to the lights as she was before I moved them. 😜🤓 Have a good day peeps! Day 53: So woke up checked in garden like usual, yup just like in my garden picture there is my fan that apparently had fallen in the night on River. 😢 I am pretty sure she will be fine, just sucks. Besides that River is still growing like crazy and flowering at her own damn pace. But she seems to be liking everything I give her and is super resilient, as we can attest to by the fan on her head. Clara is doing all she can considering she is a foot shorter and getting really crowded. I have been keeping rivers rogue arms away from her as best as I can. But other than those heat it cal mag spots on some leaves she is trucking along just fine. I went to inspect some flower sites for any anomalies l, and accidentally full on grabbed a flower. I can now tell you she is already ultra sticky and smelling great. I cannot pick out any real defining smells yet, as she pretty much just smells like normal so far. Cleaned my pumps and reservoir yesterday and checked it this morning. Without the terpinator in it, it is again nice and clear and holding a steady PH. With the caveat of the known PH creep over time. She went from 5.8-5.9 yesterday to 6.01. So that is excellent. Dropped my feeding times by 20ish seconds yesterday as well. I noticed I was getting way more run-off than needed. This also should allow me to go a lot longer without topping up and saving me some money. Well I have a busy day today with having a show tonight and work. So, that’s all I got today folks! Have an excellent day/night and we will update again tomorrow. Day 54: I didn’t really do much at all yesterday. Maybe took a lollipop off here and there from River. Tucked some leaves and pruned a couple leaves. Checked reservoir this morning and it was at 6.31 PH. I lowered that down to 5.85 and left it. I will probably make some nutrients this after noon just to keep the reservoir full. River has once again grown into ALL of her space allotted. She is about 3-4 inches from the Spider Farmer SF-4000. I’m just going to let her hit the light at this point, as I have no where to bend any branches until Clara is finished. Speaking of Clara… I added a few pictures of a couple leaves, I thought it might be light stress, and I guess it still could be. Especially with that Kessil H80 on her. But anyone else I’ve any ideas? My PH has been stellar between 5.8 and highest 6.3. I feed 5 times a day for a minute each. Might be overkill but I know I am getting plenty of runoff. They are in 70/30 Coco/Perl with a light schedule of 20/4. I have not tested runoff as I am not super concerned about it with all the run off I have. I am feeding an EC of anywhere from 1200 - 1300 depending on what I feel they are craving and or need. I can try turning both light intensities down today and see if it helps and either way if it is a nutrient issue I have read that turning the lights down a bit can help slow an problems and give you more time to fix. Ok this is a long post. Thanks for reading and visiting my diary have an awesome day! Day 55: Another mostly hands off and boring day yesterday and today. River seems to have stopped just a few inches from the lights but the other flower sites are catching up to those. She is flowering a bit more slowly as far as new flower growth a bit slower than Clara did it seems, but honestly at this point it is hard to say for sure. Clara is still getting more spots on her leaves. But, she is still packing in the flower and some flower sites are starting to stack up. She is definitely frosty and the smell is getting a bit more pungent. It quickly fills the entire basement once I open up a tent flap. All new growth in her is lookin forestry good though. I did forget to try and turn down the lights yesterday, but I will try to remember to do that today and see if that helps. As for the reservoir I topped it off with 6 gallons of all flowering nutrients recipe. It is starting to get a bit cloudy today but the PH was at 6.1 so I left it for now. Either today or tomorrow I will make a batch of flowering nutrients with terpinator (got a bunch left). I will have to clean my reservoir after that is all used up. 😢 Considering everything I learned and experimented with I still feel everything is going as best as it can for now. Especially with my two completely different phenos of the supposedly same plant. Again, next run I think I will just run one plant and fill the tent with that. Ok farmers have a great day and enjoy! Day 56: Good morning and welcome to the last day of week 1 flower for River and week 3 for Clara. So not a whole lot going on yesterday since I wasn’t home to pester my plants. Both still chugging along and doing their thing. Ended up finally turning my main lights down yesterday before I left from 80% to 70%. And my Kessil from 100% to 50% to see if I can figure out if the leaf discoloration on Clara is light/heat stress or whatever. I will be posting some pics of them in a question thread today hopefully. River seems to have stopped stretching a bit or at least it looks that way lol. She just won’t give up. Lol. But she is definitely going to produce some huge colas if the lights don’t fit her first since she is only a few inches away on quit a few flower sites. My reservoir is near empty but holding a nice 6.0PH. I will be doing one last 6 gallon top off today with terpinator added since it is due for a cleaning anyway. We talk to you all tomorrow for a new week! Cheers!🥃

Day 57: Good morning everyone! Today starts week 2 of flower for River and week 4 for Clara! My babies are growing up! So basically yesterday was spent whipping up a batch of nutrients with terpinator for my last top off before a cleaning and I did some lollipopping and basic husbandry. You know cleaning up a bunch of dead foliage under the canopy giving them a shave etc… So for today River looks pretty good, she is growing bigger flowers by the day. Again, these should be a really decent size for a majority of them. I think she has something like 20 nice flower sites. All able to support and grow a 10-12inch cola if she wants to, and I don’t mess it up. 🤷‍♂️🏻 Clara is looking better today with no real new noticeable discolorations after adjusting my lights. I did remove most of the worst leaves yesterday. But the flowers are getting noticeably more stacked by the day. The smell is starting to get stronger and it smells great! She is also nice and frosty almost everywhere. I am drying some of the lollipops I took yesterday to get my first little peek at smoke. Checked on my reservoir this morning per the usual. It had dropped from 5.89PH when I topped it off yesterday to 5.45PH this morning. I still blame the terpinator, it is cloudy and gross and really messes with PH. I adjusted the reservoir to 5.85PH and will double check it before the afternoon feedings. Beyond all that today should be pretty hands off and letting them do their thing. I hope you all have a good day in your gardens and homes! Cheers!🥃 Day 58: So as I said yesterday it would and was all hands off, other than double checking reservoir PH. River has grown every node she can to within 1 inch of the light and stops them there. WTF is up with that? She is the weirdest plant ever! If she wasn’t LST’d and a rigged she would have been well over 6 foot. She is loosing bottom leaves like crazy with them yellowing then falling off. I have a feeling it is the lack of N I put her through as well as some lack of light way down under the canopy. I have been cleaning them up when I notice them. But upper plant still looks as healthy as she can be for trying to set herself on fire so close to the lights. I might do some major cleaning of any lower hanging fruit and lollipops this week on her. We will see though. Now Clara she is a nice short and squat medium yield plant like advertised. I can now see the flowers growing a bit faster after upping my nutrient recipe to more of a mid to later stage flower recipe. I’m hoping river will dig it too. I bet Clara is done in 2-3 weeks. I will say she did produce way more frost than advertised or of any pics I’ve seen of the same strain. Also my pictures are like trying to take pictures of an iceberg, your only seeing the top 1/3-1/2 of the actual flower site for her. I really wish I could blast her with more light. When checking in on my reservoir this morning the PH had gone up to 6.23 so I lowered it to around 5.9ish. This reservoir should last through the day before it is empty enough to clean up. I will be making more mid-late bloom recipe for the next reservoir fill up. I feel Clara can really use some phosphorous. But we are all just continuing to truck along! Day 59: Oof yesterday was a doozy! So I was pruning some lollipops and I had to reach to the far back of the tent and I took a nice size cola on accident. Oops! We are currently trying to forget about it and push it out of our memory. 😬 So let’s get in with it. River… Oh sweet River… why are you so massive and still stretching! She has now officially hit the lights. I’m at a loss. Either I scrap her entirely, or I need to do some major thinning of her branches and start some HST. I’m so afraid of her turning hermie. What would you guys do? Considering Clara has some weeks left as well. I mean I live the fact she is alive and vigorous but it is now officially out of control. Clara is still busting out flower and doing her thing even though I cut off one of her appendages yesterday. So not much to complain about there. I can see good flower growth on a daily basis with her. I think I figured out her spotting issue and that should hopefully be getting better now. I believe it to be light stress from the IR/UV I was bombarding her with 20 hours a day. I have now turned off my supplemental lighting and will turn it back on closer to harvest. As for her missing limb. I am currently drying it and will cure the buds. I probably have another 6-7 days for the environment it is in to dry. Checked on my reservoir this morning. I still have a few more feeding of nutrient solution left so I will let it run before I do my weekly cleaning and refill. The PH this morning came in at 6.23 so I lowered it to about 6. It should be empty blaster my 5pm feeding so you know what I’ll be doing this afternoon :). Well I think that is all I have for an update today. I’ll leave you with this little bit of husbandry advice. “Look twice, prune once and only what you want to prune.” -AmokNewb 🤓😜 Day 60: Good morning everyone. I hope your not as hungover as I am… 😬Nothing to report today, as I didn’t touch anything in the garden yesterday. Yes a bit lazy but also I needed to get out of the house. But, checking in on the plants it looks like I have some work for me today. I have one more feeding left in the reservoir, which, I am surprised about. But I will clean that and make some nutrients today as well as clean up River ALOT so I can do some super cropping today. I have a 6 foot plant in a 5.6 foot tent… 🤪Clara is chugging along still. And basically that’s it for today. Sorry for the crappy pictures… 🤷‍♂️🏻 Day 62: Good morning fellow humans. Hope everyone is having a good morning. So spent some time in the garden yeaterday as I mentioned I would in a previous post. I took a pile of lollipops and stragglers off of River to open her up a lot more. She has a severe N deficiency but I think she will pull through. Been giving a bit more micro nutrients in hopes of keeping her healthy enough to finish to harvest. I also had to top her some. 😬😢 but I think she will be fine, I mean it has to be better than her just burning to death touching the lights. With all that she is still producing flower and might actually be ok. 🤷‍♂️🏻 Clara is as always pushing through. Hard to really tell how long she has to go, as I think I didn’t notice her flower for about a week later than she actually started. If that makes sense. I am also not sure what it looks like when they “swell”. I’m definitely going to give her all the time she needs, and I do have a nice macro lens for my phone as well as a usb microscope to check. The one branch I accidentally snipped off a few days back was actually one of the shorter and les sense of the bunch and that was a good 10-12 inches of buds, yes they were pretty small yet, but, if all these bigger flower sites look and or are that long I am going to get a pretty good harvest from her. Now on to the water part of the garden. I did end up making 18 gallons of mid-late flowering nutrients and disinfection my reservoir and pumps yesterday. Filled the reservoir yesterday at a PH of 5.82 and this morning it had drifted to 5.95 so that’s pretty awesome in my book. I’m going to let it climb to 6.2 over the next however many days before knocking it back down to 5.8. I’m still going to say it is great how much better the solution looks and stays with out the terpinator. And with that I will bid you alll farewell and good day! 👽👽 Day 62: Good afternoon people of earth. I bring today news of my garden! 🤷‍♂️🏻

Day 65: So apparently last week I used up all my available characters for this section so I’ll keep it short. 😜 Today marks the beginning of week 3 flower for River and week 5 for Clara. River has grown beyond the light on a few nodes I didn’t trim off :( Clara is doing well still. Reservoir was at 6.1 this morning so I left it. All flower pics from Clara today are different colas. Day 66: omg nothing much to say totally hands off yesterday and today. Autopilot mode is in full swing. Reservoir was at 6.11 and is now clear again… adjusted back to 5.8 and I’ll let it climb until I change it out for some AN sensi bloom A+B Day 67: So my timer was not set to auto so my plants didn’t get fed for at least an entire day maybe 2. But did a big flush and got that fixed up. River took the worst of it but she is already starting to perk up a bit. Clara didn’t even look phased. Reservoir was hanging at 6.1 PH Day 68: Well plants are slowly bouncing back after my watering fiasco. Other than that just playing the waiting game until harvest. Day 71: I missed a few days/updates. But I’m back now for a few days at least. :) So biggest thing in the last few days is I switched nutrients to advanced nutrients. Made the mistake of using their calculated dosage at full strength for first watering. Plants almost instantly burnt. Cut it to half strength now and we will see what happens. River is really getting cooked under the lights because she is so tall and there is no more room for her. Clara got a bit of a nutrient burn but I think I caught it in time. My reservoir was at 6.23 this morning I will not adjust it because I want to see if AN is telling the truth about the PH stability and for plants supposedly being able to pull nutrients even at 8ph hard to believe. Day 72: Well it definitely smells like a hot plant in there. Did a bit of husbandry yesterday pulling out a lot of dead foliage and damaged leaves. But that is about it other than getting my drying tent set up and hooked into the system. River is still burning up but she is being a trooper and flowering right through it. I can see the flowers get a bit bigger every day. She won’t have the best yield but it will be something hopefully. She will do much better after I can move her over and already her branches out after I harvest Clara in a little over a week. Clara is getting more and more brown pistils which I hope is a good sign at this stage. Still no amber trichomes but we are at over half cloudy so far. Still have not seen them “swell” or what I assume that should look like. When checking my reservoir today the PH was at 6.4 which is a bit high for me. But I will be making enough nutrients today to fill the reservoir to the top and I will see what the PH is then. I might PH down the entire thing to 5.8 tomorrow morning before I leave town just to be safe.

Day 78: Was gone a almost week but everything survived. About time for me to harvest the small plant Clara. And the. I will be able to get River away from the light a bit more and do some super cropping. I still have some water in my reservoir but probably won’t change it until it empty. I have not checked PH but I will do that later today. Day 78 Update: I chopped down Clara and hung her in the drying tent. She had some amber trichomes and I really needed the room. Total weight with stems cut as short as I could I got 780g or 27.514 ounces wet. Now if it is true you get a 3rd of the dry weight and I remove 7 ounces from the Total for stems alone. That is still 20/3 = 6.66oz. This is my guesstimate. I will do a harvest week after I cut River down. Day 79: Well a little lonely without Clara but I think River is liking hit just fine. Moved her to the center of the tent and removed the trellis netting. I pushed her stems as far as I could but she still needs some super cropping and tie down to get her a bit further from the light source. Cleaned and refilled the reservoir last night with new Advanced nutrients and it PH’d itself to 6.1. Not sure how long river has but I believe this is at least her 4th if not 5th week flower. Day 80: I have not had to do a lot the last day or so so this is just a general daily update. River is getting way more light to her lower flower sites now and I am hoping they bulk up now. They look pretty scraggly right now but I had the entire plant bunched up to make room before. Reservoir PH’d at 6.23 this morning so I dropped it down to 6 for now and added H2O2. I wish I m we how much longer River had to flower but my guess is 3 weeks minimum. Day 81: nothing new to report today on autopilot until harvest. Day 82: Still not much to report as I am still hands off in the grow tent. I don’t even need to really check my reservoir much other than to see if it is almost empty. 🤷‍♂️🏻🤪 I did however, get to try out Clara for the first time. I clipped a bus from one of the lower branches that felt the driest. It smokes really smoothly even without the cure. Day 83: So fat today I trimmed and started the cure for clara’s flowers today. I am curing in a 1/4lb grove bag. She yielded 92g for a little over 3 ounces. And 1.5 ounces of fluff and sugar leaves. Day 84: Still adding new pistils daily and the lower buds are gaining weight and are about the size of golf balls to popcorn, but they are starting to take off. Main buds are short but very dense to the touch. Filled the reservoir with fresh nutrients last night and we should be in auto pilot for the next week is so. Day 85: Today is the last Day of week 11 and I believe the end of week 4 flower for River? Could be 5 not sure. Still not a lot to report as I am still just letting everything ride on autopilot. I hope it goes better than Tesla’s self driving cars. Finally got a pic of one of Rivers lower buds that are starting to take off. I am thinking if they are still going by the time the tops are done I am going to try a partial harvest. However that means I can’t do a proper flush. What’s more important a proper flush that has a lot of debate around it as to its usefulness or a good yield of properly ripened flower? Day 86: Still on autopilot every is looking Milhouse. Day 87: autopilot just added some H2O2 to the reservoir. Took a lower golf ball size flower to dry and test.

Day 88: I am kind of behind in weeks I think, but today is day 88 and roughly 5-6ish weeks of flower for River. She is starting to really foxtail now, since she is so close to the lights, and has been for so long. It is nice to see she is still packing on some weight though through all her hardship. 😬 I’m going to give her another full week of nutrients and then flush I think. I feel once she starts foxtailing to much I’m afraid she will hermie soon. Also still debating on if I should do a partial harvest and let the bottom flowers fill out and finish up. Day 89: Auto pilot so nothing new to report. I will be cleaning and refilling the reservoir either tonight or tomorrow morning. Day 90: Still on auto pilot. Cleaned and refilled the reservoir with 12 gallons of advanced nutrients with overdrive. This will be the last feeding of nutrients for River. I will be topping off with RO water from here on out until I am feeding just water. Day 91-92: Still on autopilot. This is the last day of week 12-13? Lol I think the last day of week 5-6? Flower for River. She is foxtailing really bad now so I think harvest might come soon. I will try to get some cooler air on there first but we will see.

Day 93: River is just getting plain water this week and Thursday and Friday will get darkness so I can harvest on Saturday. There are some nutrients in the reservoir and this is a slow flush to the end it should be pure PH’d RO water by the end of the week. The flowers are now way to heavy for the stalks and they are flip flopping all over the tent when I open it up. 😬🤷‍♂️🏻 Day 94: Again mostly autopilot today. I will be adding about 4 gallons of RO to the reservoir today. This again is because I’m doing a slow flush. The buds are now way to heavy for the stalks. A Saturday harvest is a must at this point. I will be getting second drying rack today as well as a drying basket. We will see if I can wait until Saturday to harvest. I also think instead of plunging them into compete darkness for a few days I might hit them with straight UV and IR see how that effects them. Day 95: Still just topping reservoir with RO water and patiently waiting for harvest on Saturday. Might harvest tomorrow depending on time but we will see. Day 96: So yesterday afternoon I took out my SF-4000 and put in a UV/IR grow light. Experimenting to see what effect if any it has before harvest. Debating on harvesting tonight depending on what my plans are today and tomorrow. I was planning on harvesting tomorrow but we will see. 😬

So where to begin I got 108.83 ounces wet from two plants in a 2.3x2.3 on my first attempt not including larf. I can’t complain about that. Took me 14 hours to trim the last plant and boy that was a marathon. I will update this once I get some dry weights and everything goes into curing.
