First times a charm - zkittles auto dwc

First week without the dome. Had a hard time keeping pH under control and accidentally under fed calmag.

Started training the main stems towards the corners. Pulled the runt and actually wanted to pull the second runt, but the roots of the two left plants are tangled and I didn't want to damage the healthy plant. Started lst with pipe cleaners

Tied the smaller plant way down to get it out of the way. Should probably cut it down but idk if that will kill the tangled roots, so I guess I'll just keep it small 🤷‍♂️ Did a very light defoliation. These are super bushy. No signs of mildew or bugs though, so that's good.

Started scrogging. Got a dehumidifier. I believe we flipped to flower this week, seeing pistils at all the bud sites. Dropped lights to 18-6

Start of flower, started adding a bit of koolbloom and lowered light to 12in over the course of the week. Roots have kinda taken over the reservoir, u definitely shouldn't have 3 plants in there but what can you do now lol. Increased the water level as much as possible without getting the net pots underwater

Going out of town for a few days so decided to rig up an automatic reservoir top off system. So added a new 15gallon "pre reservoir" with air stones and a timer pump. Every 12 hours it will kick on and send 2 gallons to the main res, where there is a float valve to shut off at a high water level. Also the tent has a flood sensor if tripped will kill the power to the pre pump. Should be safe to leave for a few days.

Some nice buds starting to fill out. Added uvb light to boost trichome production, 15min in morning 15 min at night, slowly adding more 15 min periods though out the day. Bumped ppm of feed up to 750 until one of the plants started to show signs of stress on the tips of fan leaves. End of week the darker plant is started to go frosty and the buds are much fuller. I drifted up to 800ppm mid week and both plants starting to show signs of overfeed on the tips, backed off to 720ppm and staying there.

Start of late flower, so really laying into the bloom booster the next two weeks. The two plants seem healthy af, but look like very different phenotypes. One is shorter, darker, with buds further along, and has grown in a u shape around the taller, lighter plant.

Last week for plant number 1 I think, maybe second to last. Mostly milky trichomes on buds, just waiting for a touch of amber and some more frost. Plant number 2 is clearly a little behind but also alot taller now. Colas are stretching and if plant 1 is any indication I just have to wait a couple weeks for them to fatten up. Super pleased so far ✌️🤞🙏

Went on vacation and left these girls alone for a week with an auto refill reservoir and one check-in to top it off (thanks S)! No problems, wheeew. Backed off on the nutes this week, just running bloom boosters and a dash of micro. Trichomes still not showing any amber so gonna let them ride a bit longer but really starting to look beautiful. Smell is finally quite strong, or maybe I was nose blind before going on vacation. Very strong fruit scent with some citrus edge to it. I've never smelled fresh, so omg does this smell like the best weed ever lol. Extremely excited for the smoke, must be patient 🤣✌️

10/10 Chopped the second today! This plant is definitely a different look to the first one. Much more like what I expected Zkittles to look - orange and purple and greens all together. Also flushed this one much longer so got a nice purple and orange fade in the fan leaves. Hanging and waiting! ------------------ 10/06 Only chopped one lovely lady today, the second needs some more time to bake. Extremely excited about this grow, idk how to weigh wet exactly but est ~3lb wet buds from this plant based on weighing each of these branches, so maybe 0.3lb dry? Would be super pleased with that from one plant on my first run, way more than I was expecting for a first go. Will update with more pics soon!
