Germinated in a damp paper towel for several days then went into the germination station. The plants just went from the germination station to their small pots. They will stay in these nursery pots until they go right into the 3 gallon pots. This grow we are attempting to keep as much of the nutrients in the soil as possible without top feeding. This means we will be transplanting and refreshing the soil more often than the last grow. To me this is as organic and as natural as it gets, which is exactly how I want my medicine to be grown. We do have the pride land's veg food and flower food on hand but we will not use any additional food until the plants show a deficiency. I am planning on going to a soil class to work on building the soil for the 3 gallon pots where the plants will really veg out. Right now the plants are in a mix of LUSH soil and purple cow seed starter mix. We have the one grow light in the 5x5 tent. It is the 2000 TSL Mars Hydro and we plan on adding another one of these lights into the 5x5 to maximize growth once the plants start to veg. The tent is going to get pretty tight as we have the flowering Blueberry and White Widow plants finishing up their grow while we start the 7 new plants. Due to this configuration we are going to end up running 12/12 from seed on this new grow. I don't want to crank up the lights after a couple weeks of 12/12 for risk of hermaphrodites from the light stress. This way we can really maximize on our 12 hours with the double lights and then also give the plants a break from the constant light and provide a more natural environment. When it comes time for harvest of those other plants however, we might switch the cycle to a little 18/6 to veg out the plants a little more.
Exciting week the plants are all out of germination and into their veg growth stage. This means we get to begin the exciting work of building our soil. When the plants veg growth reaches the tips of the pots, this indicates the roots also have and your plant is then ready for more room. We have a fantastic grow shop in town that is great about soil classes and teaching you some great essentials. We plan on utilizing this resource and will keep you updated with the progress of the soil build. Stay tuned for compost tea as well ;)
Stopped by the grow shop to get the run down on the soil build. Because building your own soil creates hot soil, it needs to sit for 6-8 weeks. This obviously won't work for our purposes on this grow. After some deliberation we decided to go with a pre built soil that has already sat and composted. We are going to go with Build A Soil because they have done tons of research into their super soils. We want to do a super soil so that we don't have to top dress or add in any nutrients, we want the grow to be as natural as possible. After looking at Build A Soil's options we are leaning toward the L.O.S. OLY Recipe. This recipe uses 33% OLY Mountain fish compost. We want each plant to be able to finish out in the pots that we switch them into from their nursery pots. I recently found a new grow bag that we are going to try out for this next grow. It is a bag so it has a much larger circumference than the grow pots. It also has a lining on the sides of the grow bag so that it doesn't dry out from the sides like normal grow bags. This is our ideal growing situation because we are trying to simulate earth. When a plant is in the ground in the earth it doesn't dry out from the sides, we don't want our plants to either. The bags are very large (15 gal) but we don't want to fill to the top, in case we need to top dress more soil in the future. We use one cubic foot bag of soil per plant per container. This change will happen tomorrow at the turn of the week. Starting week two of Veg growth we will be in the containers that we finish in. This means minimal transplant stress and much less room for human error effecting my medicine.
Plants are growing like crazy. The babies are now fully into the veg phase with the white widow plants standing head and shoulders above the competition.
The plants that have reached the capacity of their nursery pots got bumped up to 3 gallon pots today. They went in these pots to buy us time until we harvest the big flowering plants. Once these are harvested in two weeks, the plants in veg will go into the large pots that they will finish in. These are where we will do the full bag of super soil. We are using a 33% Oly Fish Compost Living Organic Soil from BuildASoil at the recommendation of our grow store. This is what we used today in the 3 gallon pots.
Plants are shooting up. Some appear to have reached maturity early under the 12/12 and have started to develop preflowers. This will stunt growth but lead to a faster harvest so we aren't opposed to it. I was really hoping to veg these plants out but we had to go with the 12/12 to start so that we could finish off the flowering plants production.
plants are flowering beautifully. ended up staying in 3 gallon pots because I got so busy at work. might change pots if I have the time and budget to. Otherwise they will just be smaller plants and finish in the 3 gallon pots. They started flower food. Buds are looking very healthy leaves are nice and dark green. The fan stressed one of the blueberry plants a little too much but other than that all the plants are healthy and happy.
Plants are blooming and booming. Love to see them looking healthy and fruity. Have started fertilizing with a top fed dry fertilizer from BuildABloom. I also used the flower finisher from BuildABloom to boost terpene production. The Dos Si Do plant experienced some trouble with its fan leaves. I had little dots on the leaves. I cut the affected leaves and upped the food in case it was a deficiency. Tonight I will spray all the plants down in case the adverse effects were the cause of pets. I will be using Trifecta total crop control to soak all of the plants once 'Daylight' is over so as not to damage the leaves while wet with bright light. The plants look incredible and this is the best terpene production with the most colorful crop I have seen yet. I am very excited to see what Grow 2 holds for me. Hopefully a whole lot of good medicine. As for the first grow, I am completely harvested and have the White Widow drying and the Blueberry Curing. I ended up harvesting both early as I started to burn the plants as they reached maturity due to overfeeding. I was really busy with work and didn't change the feeding plan as the plants matured. I ended up defoliating many of the burnt leaves. But without a full soil flush the plants continued to burn. I saved the crop by harvesting early. The drawback with this of course is that because the plants never fully matured they never changed color as they were supposed to in the last week. This was a little disappointing especially with the blueberry plant, however it is worth it to still salvage the grow and have unburnt buds. The overfeeding just impacted the fan leaves and some of the bud leaves but none of the bud clusters themselves. I just trimmed a little more than I would typically, to try and cut out all of the burnt leaves. The blueberry is manicured and is sitting in a UV protected mason jar with Boveda packs to ensure the proper humidity while the bud cures. The curing process should take about a month but I might stretch it to get as fruity of bud as possible. The white widow has not been trimmed so it has all of the burnt leaves still on it while it hangs and dries. When the drying process is complete I will trim the plant extensively, harvesting the manicured buds and storing them in another UV proof mason jar to cure with another Boveda pack. I sprung for the extra large Boveda packs just in case the plants were not completely dried this way the larger pack can take on the moisture in the buds and they can maintain the proper humidity. Right now the Blueberry is sitting at 64% humidity and the goal is 62% so I'd say the large boveda pack is working. If it continues to run high. I will air the bud out to dry it more and then put it back in the jar. As for the current plants they will continue to fruit up until bud production slows and stops and trichrome production ceases. The blueberry plants and the washing machine plants should change color in their final weeks, and the white widow plants also will darken their tips when they reach maturity. I am excited to see what this grow holds in its finishing weeks.
Harvested the white widow and dos so do plants. The other guys are now on a bloom booster until they finish
waiting to see some good the production and some color change in the plants. also trying to rid them of a spider mite infestation.
Que maravilha ✌️
Boa sorte no cultivo e aproveita o desenvolvimento 👍
E no final que tenhas uma grande colheita 🌱🌱

Hello bro. Frankly, I don't care about its taste and smell. What are the effects of White Widow? Yes, it has a high thc rate, but can you talk about any effects that will distinguish it from other strains? Are there things that make it extraordinary? Can you describe how it makes you feel? What about the colours, music, thoughts and pleasures?
