Day 21 - I've increased the amount of floramicro (my 'nitrogen' base) I started out at 1/4tsp a gallon, moved up to 1/2tsp a gallon and am now at a full 1tsp per gallon. I'm not seeing any form of nitrogen burn, but my plants were very lime green for their whole life, but now they are starting to darken up and look more normal. I figured they are big enough now to use the recommended dose, and 1/2tsp was keeping them too lime green/underfed looking. The charlotte that had damaged roots is back to growing, so she is out of shock now. I took my black tray liners out because they made it so hard to vacuum my runoff water. My tent has a reflective mylar liner anyway, which is super easy to vacuum from. I'd take more pics but the plants smell so damn bad already and im not even in flower yet!!!

Grow Questions

I'm having an issue with two of my plants, the leaves are curling upward right at the base of the leaf. My humidity is right at 57-60%, heat goes fro 76-81 during the day, watering once a day. Does anyone know what might be causing this? Im on day 10, by the way.

Leaves can curl for a variety of reasons, ph problems, extreme humidity high or low, light and heat stress, as well as overwatering. I see you water each day, they may not need that, perhaps every other day, typically if top soil is dry up to your 1st or 2nd knuckle. I also see your light is at 18 inches, I think many led companies recommend about 24inches at this stage, but that could cause the light and heat stress. The plants look pretty good to me and I think this just a temporary problem with a few minor changes. However 55% isnt a bad humidity for this stage. I think give her a healthy flush, move the light, possibly add an additional small fan and things should take off again. Best of luck with the tweaking of circumstances. Happy growing.

I feel like my grow is completely messy and blocking light to bud sites, will defoliating some of the side branches kill my plant and hurt my yields?

Hi there! No, you can tuck a few fan leaves a day it should not hurt the plant. Make sure to remove only the leaves that are creating shades onto your bud sites, and act by priority. Hope this helps, happy growing!

@dubkream -- nice to see a Charlotte's Angel. First auto I've seen in journal. I've got the photo, but she's having a hard time micro grow style. Interested to see your results. All the best!

Very nice to see our cheese auto cbd in your selection :) I think this might be the 1st cheese auto cbd grow on the grow diary platform and we are very excited to see more of our high CBD genetics being grown ;) All the flavour retained with a boosted CBD content, you can not go wrong and we can't wait to see how she performs in your garden :) All the best Mark..

Hey there the plants are looking strong and bushy already so well done there. I looked at your pics and really the leaf problems you mention don't appear to dangerous, I think it likely this will sort itself out.

@dubkream Hi there! Those babies are suffering from heat and/or light-burn! Try to decrease your temperatures and increase your distance between the light & the plants. I'll be around, good luck with these beauties!

Coming along nicely ;) like @@Athos said, increase the distance from the light and maybe put an extra vent/fan too and you'll resolve the leaves curling upwards issue
