Well, here we are with some minor updates.
First of all, not all seedlings germinated. I'm a little sad about this. Had also a backup plan but didn't work out either. I also added the irrigation system for the plants and a new MH light. But more below.
So, let's get started. One Triple G and one Purple Queen did not sprout. π¦ππ I had a feeling something wass odd with those 2 seeds, so I decided to start germinating 2 new seeds for those 2. But, unfortunately neither of them did make it. β°οΈπ±
24H water and paper towels. Did not work. The Triple G did make a tap root, about 0.5cm(0.25") long, but then stopped. I let the seed go 2 more days to see if the tap root would grow more, but nothing. The Purple Queen didn't even show a tap root or better to say, the seed did not even open. So, I tossed both od them into the bin. But, I did accidentally dropped 2x Honey Cream seeds into one pot and didn't notice. And, well, both germinatedππ (How this happened? Well, I always germinate more seeds than I need. And dropped 2 into the "hole". True story bro) So now, I'm left with 2x Triple Gπ¦, 2x Purple Queen ππ and 4x Honey Cream π―π. I lost 2 "plants", but got one extra out as consolation prize. I'm OK with that. ππ€·π»
Why didn't the seeds germinate or sprout, I don't know. The conditions where great. So, maybe my fault, maybe genetics... But, it happens. Can't do sh*t about it, so I take as it is. I'm still happy the others did make it. So, non than less, 8 plants in total. π±βοΈ
The set-up is basic and straight forward.βοΈβοΈπ§
I'm running a 250W MH with an reflector from Prima-Klima. The Azerwing LA75-V with 95% light reflection and adjustable wings.π‘ The LA75 has a place for a nother light. So, I still got some place to play with the lightning(MAX is 2x600HID) Still waiting for that LED, though. π€·π»π
The light is 50cm(20") from the plants but will be adjusted further on and lowered if the plants will show too much stretch or to long internode spacing. We all want bushy plants.
The girls also got their first feed yesterday, because all have the first set of real leafs and started to grow the second set. So to help them with that I decided it was time. ππ¦ I installed the dripping (irrigation) system for all 8 plants, so I can easily control the watering and the area where to water. The girls loved it β₯οΈπ±
I used:
-Aptus Regulator
-INDICA Temple Rise and Temple Noon(Part A and B base nutrients)
-Aptus Startbooster
So far, no problems with the girls. They are doing great. You can see the difference from day to day. They are about 5cm(2") tall currently and the heat does not bother them. But still, the temps are a bit high currently hear, so the tent goes up to 30β°C(85β°F) I try to keep it now around 26β°-28β°C(78β°-81β°F) and the humidity around 70%RH which is currently misson impossible without raising the temp in the tent above 30β°C(85β°F). This would not be the problem if I already had the CO2 Exhale Bags. So, I'm doing my best to keep as close to 70%RH as possible.
So yeah, basically, that is the sum-up for this week and I hope the girls will do well also in the next one. If you have any question, recommendations or just wamt to say Hey, feel free to write β₯οΈπ± See you next week π
Good luck with this.
