Germination

This will be a fem. run by Royal Queen Seeds. The main actors are Purple Queen, Triple G and Honey Cream. They germinated easily with the 24h water and paper towel method. Some did struggle to get the root going, but once I introduced them to mat-heater, they started to go like crazy. The germination success is at 100% and I'm very satisfied. RSQ never disappoints. The plants will be in 3.5gal Airpots from start to finish. The total amount of pots in the 4x4ft(1.2x1.2m) is 9. So 3 strains, each 3 planta. I'm going to go for a SOG and let them vegetate for 4 weeks, after that they're going on BLOOM. The humidity is around 70%RH and the temp. is around 26⁰C(76⁰F). Perfect environment for the seeds to fully sprout from the soil. They are also coverd with plastic cups to retain the moisture in the soil where the seed is placed. I'm using an Azerwing Large reflector with 250W MH light for the vegetation phase and for the bloom phase, I'm going to use either a 600W HPS or 350W LED. Depends when does the LED arrive 😅 Stay tuned for more.

Well, here we are with some minor updates. First of all, not all seedlings germinated. I'm a little sad about this. Had also a backup plan but didn't work out either. I also added the irrigation system for the plants and a new MH light. But more below. So, let's get started. One Triple G and one Purple Queen did not sprout. 🦍🍇👑 I had a feeling something wass odd with those 2 seeds, so I decided to start germinating 2 new seeds for those 2. But, unfortunately neither of them did make it. ⚰️🌱 24H water and paper towels. Did not work. The Triple G did make a tap root, about 0.5cm(0.25") long, but then stopped. I let the seed go 2 more days to see if the tap root would grow more, but nothing. The Purple Queen didn't even show a tap root or better to say, the seed did not even open. So, I tossed both od them into the bin. But, I did accidentally dropped 2x Honey Cream seeds into one pot and didn't notice. And, well, both germinated😁😅(How this happened? Well, I always germinate more seeds than I need. And dropped 2 into the "hole". True story bro) So now, I'm left with 2x Triple G🦍, 2x Purple Queen 🍇👑 and 4x Honey Cream 🍯🐝. I lost 2 "plants", but got one extra out as consolation prize. I'm OK with that. 😁🤷🏻 Why didn't the seeds germinate or sprout, I don't know. The conditions where great. So, maybe my fault, maybe genetics... But, it happens. Can't do sh*t about it, so I take as it is. I'm still happy the others did make it. So, non than less, 8 plants in total. 🌱☀️ The set-up is basic and straight forward.⚒️⚙️🔧 I'm running a 250W MH with an reflector from Prima-Klima. The Azerwing LA75-V with 95% light reflection and adjustable wings.💡 The LA75 has a place for a nother light. So, I still got some place to play with the lightning(MAX is 2x600HID) Still waiting for that LED, though. 🤷🏻😁 The light is 50cm(20") from the plants but will be adjusted further on and lowered if the plants will show too much stretch or to long internode spacing. We all want bushy plants. The girls also got their first feed yesterday, because all have the first set of real leafs and started to grow the second set. So to help them with that I decided it was time. 😁💦 I installed the dripping (irrigation) system for all 8 plants, so I can easily control the watering and the area where to water. The girls loved it ♥️🌱 I used: -Aptus Regulator -INDICA Temple Rise and Temple Noon(Part A and B base nutrients) -Aptus Startbooster So far, no problems with the girls. They are doing great. You can see the difference from day to day. They are about 5cm(2") tall currently and the heat does not bother them. But still, the temps are a bit high currently hear, so the tent goes up to 30⁰C(85⁰F) I try to keep it now around 26⁰-28⁰C(78⁰-81⁰F) and the humidity around 70%RH which is currently misson impossible without raising the temp in the tent above 30⁰C(85⁰F). This would not be the problem if I already had the CO2 Exhale Bags. So, I'm doing my best to keep as close to 70%RH as possible. So yeah, basically, that is the sum-up for this week and I hope the girls will do well also in the next one. If you have any question, recommendations or just wamt to say Hey, feel free to write ♥️🌱 See you next week 😁

So, here we are again. Second week of vegetation. Short deets: The plants exploded🤷🏻💚 Long story: So, the plants got their second feed.💧 And they loved it. ❤️ But I had some problems with the first feed that I figured out only a few days later when the plants started to show some problems. Little brown spots on first real leafs. My PPM meter was off so I calibrated it, measured my tap water that I usually use and the results were jaw dropping. The standard PPM of my tap water is around 100PPM and didn't even think about measuring it before applying the nutrients. So, I did measure it again and the reading was 670PPM. Way to much. So, for the second feed I bought 5L(1.6gal) distilled water. The PPM reading was 10. Basically PERFECT. I don't have an RO filter yet, so this is the best next thing. I added the nutrients as shown above and measured the PPM. It came back at 750PPM. So pure 750PPM of nutrients. No heavy metals, no chemical's, no nothing. Pure demineralized water. 🙏🏻 I adjusted the pH to 6.2 and watered them. As you can see, there was an explosion of growth. So it really makes a difference. I'm going to invest in a smal RO filter in the next week and hook it up so I got my PURE water always at hand. Problems: One Triple G and one Purple Queen have some problems. They don't grow at the same rate as the other plants, but they show no signs of deficiency or lock out. So, my guess is the two are just slow growers and will eventually catch up with the rest of the grow. So, I hope you'll see some progress on those 2 after this week. Fingers crossed and lets hope for the best. The temperature is under control. Through out the day the temp. is around 30⁰C and at night about 23-24⁰C which is good. I only have some issues with the RH but still manage to keep it between 60-70% RH. ☀️💦 So, fingers crossed folks they withstand the heat for another 2-3 weeks. Then is flip time. 🙏🏻😁 Stay tuned for the next update on the girls and if you have any questions or critique, feel free to speak your mind ❤️

So, starting this week off with some TOP-ing news. The girls were topped, but only 5/7. 1x Purple Punch and 4x Honey Cream. The two Triple G's and one Purple Queen are struggling a bit with growth. I don't know what's wrong with them, because the other are growing like crazy. And those 3, eh, I don't know. If you know what could be causing the restricted growth, hit me up or leave a comment down below. 🙏🏻😁 I will apply a foliar spray with Green Explosion from TOP CROP and add some humic and fulvic acid to boost the root development and to kickstart the photosynthesis. So they start to eat 💪🏻😁 Rather than that, no other problems are present. The temp. is a bit high, 30⁰C but they are taking it like champs. Silica really does work wonders. 😅🙏🏻 I applied a full 3L feed for each plant, so the soil gets all wet through and plants can start growing new root shots. More roots, more fruits. 🌱 I'm planing on vegging them for 2-3 more weeks, so in total 5-6 weeks in vegetation. They have to come back from the shock that was caused by Topping. Every plant has around 6-8 new shots as you can see from the pictures. And this means more main "stems" or better to say more bud sites. 😎 I changed the MH bulb from 250W to 400W and will increase the wattage further to 600W in 2 weeks. They need more light. 😁☀️💡 Technical upgrade: 🎥 I bought a WiFi security camera. 😁 The thing is awesome. 😧 I can check the temp. any time and see the girls any time from anywhere on my phone. And I payed only 25€ for it 🤷🏻 It's a 1080P, 360⁰ camera. Any one should invest in some gadgets that make their job easier. 💪🏻 Ending this week with a smile 😉

Where should I even begin? 😅 I'm only left with 6 plants in the tent. 😤 One Purple Queen did not make it. And one Triple G was moved outside. I changed the lights. Finally. 2x 250W LED. The plants🌱: As said, I'm only left with 6 plants in the tent. One Purple Queen broke today after tying down because of a very fragile stem even after applying good amount of silica and one Triple G Was moved outside today due to its slow grow rate and I want to flip in 2 week. To little time to develop properly. Now Triple G can take his time until mid August. I left the other one in the tent, it looks more robust but still, I'm very disappointed with this batch of seeds from RQS, only 2 Triple G's and one Purple Queen made it. So that's 2/5 and 1/5. 😒 But, heads up, the Honey Cream is doing fenomenall. I did tie down the remaining plants and did some light defoliating, so they open more up after topping them. I'll give them another 2 weeks of 18h of light and then it's flip time. End of the month. Can't wait. 😁 Problems 😤: As mentioned before, I had to remove one plant and the other one broke. 🙄 Not everything goes on plan every time. 🤷🏻 Trial and errors. Learn from them. 😉 APHIDS. I have forking APHIDS. But thanks god ONLY aphids. I applied some home miracle working insecticide and they are dying. 😁 Had luck I saw it now in the beginning. So I can fight them off before the bloom phase. Nasty little creatures as you can see above. Oh, broke some stems when LST was applied where I couldn't tie them down. Buuut, I tapped them up. Hope they get their sh*t togather untill next week so I can make some nicer pictures. Btw, did you see the NUT(e) BURN? No? Good😁 But it's there. Over applied some foliar feed with 19% N and natural roots shooting hormones and burned them. But lightly. Ony the tips, which is OK. The first day was a bit of a struggle for them but after 36 hours, they gone crazy. And that's the reason for tying them down today. 😅 Lights 💡: 2x EasyGrow S600V2. One can easily replace a HPS or CMH. Less heat for more GAS 😅 So, that's it for this week.😁 If any questions, let me know ☺️

Good luck with this. Can someone help me with honey cream peach , I’m in late flowering stage , the plant went through much duress and mite attack too. Survived after changing pot . Flowering is still very slow and leaves appear pretty dry. Is there a anything more i can do to make this work. First time grower not much of know how, using advance notes jungle juice and fat buds from same brand. 🙏🙏🙏thanks
