hello i was thinking about defoliate (lolipopping maybe?) a bit this one but i m afraid... it is in 3rd week flower and im not sure if it is a good idea

Hi there,only defoliate if there is a good reason.Like do some defoliation to lower down tent humidity,to make a good air flow if too bushy.Defoliate some leaves If they are damaged or shaded below the canopy.May be some lollipopping if there are too many popcorn buds underneath.Other than those, shouldn’t do.Those fan leaves are acted like extra sources of energy for plants.Only recommend to defoliate at the start of flowering circle and again at 3rd week of flower or at the end of stretching period.Later that period ,you shouldn’t stress the plant anymore and let her grow happily until harvest.Defoliation or lollipopping at late flower stage could even lead to hermaphrodism.Happy Growing... ✌️
Hey mate,
Week 3 is a good time to do it. Nothing to worry about you'll be fine. Just don't take to much as it will stress her and cause her to slow. Theres some really great videos on YouTube that will show you exactly how to do it. Watch one and you'll be able to do it with confidence. Light defoliating wont harm her and will increase airflow, benefiting her in the future.
